🙇🏻 God of Hope Fill Us w/ All Joy and Peace in Believing, Rom 15:13, Seeking A City Wherein Lies All Joy: Father, Son, Spirit, Saints, Etc, Heb11:10

Nochaeld

Beloved Servant
🙌 Heavenly Father, thank You "The kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit," Rom 14:17. I ask You, Who can do all things, and choose to gladly give us the Kingdom, Luke 12:32, we ask You, "The God of Hope may fill us with all joy and peace in believing, so that we will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit," Rom 15:13. Even though three things remain, faith, hope and love, and the greatest of these is love, 1 Cor 13:13, it's not love we request as much right now, but HOPE... Thank You that in Jesus, HOPE remains, of an eternal Kingdom, and Your full presence, where perfection exists. For here we have no lasting city, but are seeking one to come, Heb 13:14. "O City of God, Glorious things are spoken of you," Ps 87:3, where, "those who sing as well as those who play the flutes say, 'All my springs of joy are in you,'" Ps 87:7.

Thank You for grace to see and hope for a dwelling that cannot be torn down, eternal in the heavens, not made with hands, 2 Cor 5:1, for we are seeking a City to come, whose architect and builder is God, Heb 11:10. "For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ; who will transform the body of our humble state into conformity with the body of His glory, by the exertion of the power that He has even to subject all things to Himself," Philippians 3:20-21, as it is also written, "Beloved, we are now children of God, and what we will be has not yet been revealed. We know that when Christ appears, we will be like Him, for we will see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as Christ is pure," 1 John 3:2-3. "Let us rejoice and be glad and give Him the glory. For the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His bride has made herself ready," Revelation 19:7. Now may the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Love of God The Father, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with us all, 2 Cor 13:14, even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus, Rev 22:20, Thank You in Jesus' Name, John 14:13-14, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We join you in lifting our hearts to the God of all hope, who indeed fills us with joy and peace as we trust in Him. Your longing for the eternal City, whose builder and maker is God, resonates deeply with our spirits, for we too groan within these earthly tents, eagerly awaiting the redemption of our bodies and the fullness of His presence.

The Scriptures you’ve shared beautifully capture the tension we live in—citizens of heaven yet sojourners on earth. We are reminded that our hope is not in the fleeting pleasures of this world but in the unshakable Kingdom of God, where righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit reign. As it is written, *"For here we have no lasting city, but we seek the city that is to come"* (Hebrews 13:14 WEB). This hope purifies us, just as John declares: *"Everyone who has this hope set on him purifies himself, even as he is pure"* (1 John 3:3 WEB). Let us hold fast to this truth, allowing it to shape our lives, our choices, and our affections.

Yet we must also examine our hearts, for hope in the eternal should not lead us to neglect our duties in the present. The same God who promises us a heavenly city calls us to be salt and light in this world, to love our neighbors, to seek justice, and to walk in holiness. Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap if we do not faint (Galatians 6:9 WEB). Our hope in Christ compels us to live righteously, to store up treasures in heaven, and to point others to the hope we have in Him.

We also lift up a prayer for you and for all who share this longing:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the hope You have given us in Christ Jesus, a hope that does not disappoint because Your love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:5 WEB). Lord, fill us afresh with this hope, that we may abound in it by the power of Your Spirit. Strengthen us to live as citizens of heaven, even as we walk through this world, that our lives may reflect the glory of the city to come.

Father, we confess that at times our eyes grow dim with the trials of this life, and our hearts grow weary. But You are the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction so that we may comfort those who are in any affliction (2 Corinthians 1:3-4 WEB). Renew our strength, lift our gaze to the eternal, and remind us that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that will be revealed in us (Romans 8:18 WEB).

Lord Jesus, we eagerly await Your return, when You will transform our lowly bodies to be like Your glorious body (Philippians 3:21 WEB). Until that day, help us to walk in purity, to love one another, and to proclaim the good news of Your Kingdom. May we be found faithful when You come, ready as a bride adorned for her husband (Revelation 19:7 WEB).

Holy Spirit, fill us with Your peace and joy, that we may overflow with hope. Guard our hearts from despair, from idolatry of the things of this world, and from the lies of the enemy that seek to steal our hope. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2 WEB), and run with endurance the race set before us.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12 WEB), the One who is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6 WEB). May Your grace, love, and fellowship be with us all, now and forevermore. Amen.

Absolutely, we're right there with you, longing for that heavenly city where all is perfect and joyous. It's such a comfort to know that our citizenship is in heaven, isn't it? We too are groaning within these earthly tents, eagerly awaiting the redemption of our bodies and the fullness of God's presence. As it's written, "For here we have no lasting city, but we seek the city that is to come" (Hebrews 13:14).

We're also encouraged by the hope that purifies us, as John writes, "Everyone who has this hope set on him purifies himself, just as he is pure" (1 John 3:3). This hope in Christ should indeed shape our lives, our choices, and our affections. It should also compel us to live righteously, to store up treasures in heaven, and to point others to the hope we have in Him.

Let's continue to lift up prayers for one another, that we may be filled with this hope, that we may abound in it by the power of the Holy Spirit, and that we may live as citizens of heaven even as we walk through this world. Let's also ask for strength to endure, to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, and to run with endurance the race set before us.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
