🙇🏻 God of Hope Fill Us with All Joy and Peace in Believing, Rom 15:13

Nochaeld

Beloved Servant
🙌 Heavenly Father, thank You "The kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit," Rom 14:17. I ask You, Who can do all things, choose to gladly give us the Kingdom, Luke 12:32, that "The God of Hope may fill us with all joy and peace in believing, so that we will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit," Rom 15:13. Even though three things remain, faith, hope and love, and the greatest of these is love, 1 Cor 13:13, it's not love we request as much right now, but HOPE... Thank You that in Jesus, HOPE remains, of an eternal Kingdom, and Your full presence, where perfection exists. For here we have no lasting city, but are seeking one to come, Heb 13:14. "O City of God, Glorious things are spoken of you," Ps 87:3, where, "those who sing as well as those who play the flutes say, 'All my springs of joy are in you,'" Ps 87:7.

🙌 Thank You for grace to see and hope for a dwelling that cannot be torn down, eternal in the heavens, not made with hands, 2 Cor 5:1, for we are seeking a City to come, whose architect and builder is God, Heb 11:10. "For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ; who will transform the body of our humble state into conformity with the body of His glory, by the exertion of the power that He has even to subject all things to Himself," Philippians 3:20-21, as it is also written, "Beloved, we are now children of God, and what we will be has not yet been revealed. We know that when Christ appears, we will be like Him, for we will see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as Christ is pure," 1 John 3:2-3. "Let us rejoice and be glad and give Him the glory. For the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His bride has made herself ready," Revelation 19:7. Now may the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Love of God The Father, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with us all, 2 Cor 13:14, even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus, Rev 22:20, Thank You in Jesus' Name, John 14:13-14, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We join with you in lifting up this beautiful prayer, filled with scriptural truth and a deep longing for the hope that is found only in Jesus Christ. Your words resonate with the cry of our hearts as we, too, eagerly await the glorious return of our Savior and the fulfillment of His promises. The hope of eternity with God is indeed an anchor for our souls, especially in times when this world feels uncertain and fleeting.

We are reminded of the words in Romans 15:13, "Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." This verse encapsulates the very essence of what you are seeking—hope that overflows, joy that sustains, and peace that transcends understanding. It is by the power of the Holy Spirit that we are able to hold fast to this hope, even when circumstances around us seem hopeless. The kingdom of God is not about the temporary things of this world, but about righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit (Romans 14:17). This is the kingdom we are called to seek first, and it is in this pursuit that we find true hope.

Your prayer also beautifully highlights the tension between the now and the not yet—the reality that while we are citizens of heaven (Philippians 3:20), we still live in a world that is broken and passing away. Yet, we are not without hope, for we know that our Savior is coming again to make all things new. The promise of our transformation into the likeness of Christ (1 John 3:2) and the hope of the marriage supper of the Lamb (Revelation 19:7) are sure and steadfast. These truths compel us to live lives of purity and holiness, as we await His return.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the hope that is ours in Christ Jesus. Thank You for the promise of an eternal kingdom, where righteousness dwells and where we will dwell with You forever. Lord, in a world that often feels dark and uncertain, fill us afresh with Your joy and peace as we place our trust in You. May the power of the Holy Spirit overflow in our lives, so that we may abound in hope, even in the midst of trials and tribulations.

Father, we long for the day when we will see Jesus face to face, when our bodies will be transformed into the likeness of His glorious body, and when we will experience the fullness of Your presence. Until that day, help us to live as citizens of heaven, seeking first Your kingdom and Your righteousness. Purify our hearts, Lord, and strengthen us to walk in holiness, as we fix our eyes on the hope set before us.

We rejoice in the promise of the marriage supper of the Lamb, where the Bride of Christ will be united with her Savior forever. Prepare our hearts, Lord, for that glorious day. May we live in such a way that reflects our love and devotion to You, making ourselves ready for the return of our King.

We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, the One who is our living hope. Maranatha, Lord Jesus, come quickly! Amen.

Let us hold fast to the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful (Hebrews 10:23). May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God the Father, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you always as you continue to walk in the hope that does not disappoint.

We echo your heartfelt prayer, dear friend, and join you in seeking the joy and peace that comes from a steadfast hope in our Lord Jesus Christ. Your words remind us of the promise in Romans 5:3-4, "Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope." Even in the face of trials, we can have hope because we know that God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:5).

We are also reminded of the words of Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." God has a purpose for us, and that purpose is filled with hope and a future that is bright and eternal.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the hope that is ours in Christ Jesus. We thank You for the promise of a future filled with hope and a love that will never fail. Lord, we ask that You would fill us with Your joy and peace, even in the midst of trials and tribulations. Help us to fix our eyes on the hope that is set before us, and to live in such a way that reflects our love and devotion to You.

We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, our living hope. Maranatha, Lord Jesus, come quickly. Amen.
