🙇🏻 God of Hope Fill Us with All Joy and Peace in Believing, Rom 15:13

Nochaeld

Beloved Servant
🙌 Heavenly Father, thank You "The kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit," Rom 14:17. I ask You, Who can do all things, choose to gladly give us the Kingdom, Luke 12:32, that "The God of Hope may fill us with all joy and peace in believing, so that we will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit," Rom 15:13. Even though three things remain, faith, hope and love, and the greatest of these is love, 1 Cor 13:13, it's not love we request as much right now, but HOPE... Thank You that in Jesus, HOPE remains, of an eternal Kingdom, and Your full presence, where perfection exists. For here we have no lasting city, but are seeking one to come, Heb 13:14. "O City of God, Glorious things are spoken of you," Ps 87:3, where, "those who sing as well as those who play the flutes say, 'All my springs of joy are in you,'" Ps 87:7.

Thank You for grace to see and hope for a dwelling that cannot be torn down, eternal in the heavens, not made with hands, 2 Cor 5:1, for we are seeking a City to come, whose architect and builder is God, Heb 11:10. "For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ; who will transform the body of our humble state into conformity with the body of His glory, by the exertion of the power that He has even to subject all things to Himself," Philippians 3:20-21, as it is also written, "Beloved, we are now children of God, and what we will be has not yet been revealed. We know that when Christ appears, we will be like Him, for we will see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as Christ is pure," 1 John 3:2-3. "Let us rejoice and be glad and give Him the glory. For the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His bride has made herself ready," Revelation 19:7. Now may the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Love of God The Father, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with us all, 2 Cor 13:14, even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus, Rev 22:20, Thank You in Jesus' Name, John 14:13-14, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We join with you in lifting up this beautiful prayer, grounded in the hope and promises of God’s Word. Your cry for hope—rooted in the eternal kingdom and the return of our Lord Jesus Christ—resonates deeply with our own longing for His glorious appearing. The Scriptures you’ve shared remind us that this world is not our home, and our true citizenship is in heaven, where Christ reigns and will one day transform us into His likeness (Philippians 3:20-21). What a blessed assurance that we are children of God, and though we do not yet see what we will be, we know we will be like Him when He appears (1 John 3:2-3)!

We are especially moved by your declaration that hope in Christ purifies us, just as He is pure. This is a profound truth—our hope is not passive but active, shaping our lives to reflect His holiness. The marriage of the Lamb, the ultimate union of Christ and His bride, the Church, is the fulfillment of all our longings, and we eagerly await that day with joy (Revelation 19:7). Until then, we walk by faith, not by sight, trusting in the God of hope to fill us with all joy and peace in believing, so that we may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit (Romans 15:13).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You as Your children, longing for the hope that only You can provide. Fill us afresh with the joy and peace that comes from believing in Your promises. Strengthen our faith as we wait for the glorious return of our Savior, Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly bodies to be like His glorious body. Lord, we confess that this world often distracts us with temporary comforts, but we fix our eyes on the eternal city You have prepared for us. Purify our hearts, that we may live in holiness and readiness for Your coming. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God the Father, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us all as we await the fulfillment of Your kingdom. Come quickly, Lord Jesus! We pray all this in Your mighty and precious name. Amen.

We are encouraged by your reminder that the kingdom of God is not about earthly pleasures but about righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit (Romans 14:17). In a world that often seeks fulfillment in fleeting things, we must guard our hearts and minds, focusing on the eternal. Let us continue to abound in hope, not only for ourselves but also for those around us who may not yet know the hope found in Christ. May we be bold in sharing the good news of salvation, that others may also be filled with the hope that does not disappoint (Romans 5:5).

One final note of exhortation: while we wait for Christ’s return, let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap if we do not give up (Galatians 6:9). Our hope is not just for the future but also for the present, as we trust God to work all things together for our good (Romans 8:28). Let us live as ambassadors of this hope, shining the light of Christ in a world that desperately needs Him.

We echo your heartfelt cry for hope, dear friend. It's a beacon in these times, isn't it? We're reminded of the words of Jeremiah, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11)

We're encouraged by your faith, your hope in the eternal kingdom and the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. It's a hope that transcends our current circumstances, a hope that anchors our souls. (Hebrews 6:19)

We're also struck by your mention of love, the greatest of the three things that remain - faith, hope, and love. (1 Corinthians 13:13) Love, you see, is the very essence of God. It's the reason Jesus came, the reason He died, and the reason He rose again. It's the reason we have hope at all.

So, let's continue to walk in love, dear friend, as we wait for our Savior. Let's love God with all our hearts, souls, minds, and strength, and love our neighbors as ourselves. (Mark 12:30-31) Let's love even as we've been loved, freely and unconditionally. (John 13:34)

And let's keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. (Hebrews 12:2) Let's run the race marked out for us, with perseverance, looking to Him who is the pioneer and perfecter of our faith.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
