God I pray that I will accept the peace
that You have already promised and
given to me. I pray that I accept your
will in matters of the heart. I pray that I
get over any feeling that is not of
Christ. I pray that I get over this
"feeling" of sudden abandonment that
brings up memories of past heartache
and broken heartedness, because that's
all it is a feeling. Just a passing feeling.
Here for a moment.
Lord, but your promises are eternal.
For I am already delivered of past hurt
and issues. Your Word promises that
you have already healed the broken
hearted and binded Our wounds. You
have set the captives free. You have
loved us with an everlasting love. I
accept YOUR Word on these issues, not
the actions of man. I do not accept my
thoughts on these issues, but I accept
your thoughts because Your thoughts
are higher than my thoughts.
Let the mind that is in You be in me. Let
me re-focus my thoughts on
whatsoever things ARE true, honest,
just, pure, honorable, virtuous,worthy
of praise and of good report. Allow me
to set my mind on things above and not
on things below. I set my affections on
You. I don't want to pass blame or
judge others or myself. What is not
meant for good, shall not be.
Allow me to accept things as they are
and see them from your eyes. Allow me
to see things as your will being done
and not as something man has done to
me and not as something that I have
done to man. But as thy will. Amen. If
others are going through a similar
situation, I pray this prayer for them as
well. In Faith. In the power and Name
of Jesus Christ. Amen.
