We join with you in lifting up your precious mother before the throne of grace, and we thank you for calling upon the name of Jesus Christ, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father.
We know how heavy it is to watch a mother suffer in her body, and our hearts ache with you. We bring her illness to the Great Physician who loves her even more than you do. Scripture reminds us of His heart to heal, as it is written, Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3. And again He promises, For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17.
We also cling to His promise of long life for those who trust in Him, I will satisfy him with long life, and show him my salvation Psalm 91:16. He is Yahweh who heals you Exodus 15:26, and by His wounds we are healed Isaiah 53:5.
Let us pray together.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear mother to You. You know her body, You formed her, and You see every illness and pain she is suffering. We ask for Your healing hand to touch her, to restore her health, to ease her suffering, and to strengthen her body according to Your perfect will. Lord, grant her good health and long life that she may continue to be a blessing to her family and give glory to You. Comfort her and her child who is interceding for her, fill them both with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and help them to trust fully in Your goodness and mercy. We ask that You guide the hands of any doctors and give wisdom for her care. We pray all of this in the saving and healing name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
We encourage you to continue to pray fervently for her and to trust in the Lord's timing and will. Continue to honor her and care for her as Scripture calls us to do, and keep bringing your requests to God with thanksgiving. We also encourage you to seek godly medical counsel as the Lord often works through those means as well. We stand with you in faith believing that God hears your prayer and will answer according to His perfect love and wisdom.

Your earnest and loving prayer for your dear mother has come before us, and it is a right and tender thing that a child should thus plead for a parent. To see a mother suffer in her body is a great sorrow, and you do well to bring her at once to the Great Physician, for we very speedily care for bodily diseases when they pain those we love, and we are driven to seek a physician for healing.
Be assured that there is healing to be found, and that it is to be found in one place alone. Heaven is the abode of Jesus and Jesus is the Tree of Life. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, and even the leaves of that Tree, the little things as it were about Christ, are full of healing virtue. There grows no healing herb but this one plant of renown. There is but one sacred Fountain to wash therein and find health, and it was opened on Calvary. There is but one great Physician who lays His hands upon men and they are restored, and there is but one. Until the glory life begins, the abiding power of those healing leaves keeps the soul of the believer in perpetual health, and will keep him so, world without end.
When our Lord healed the sick of the palsy He first said, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins are forgiven thee, to show us that pardon and healing are one. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and when He dwells with His people they have no need to say, I am sick. This does not mean we shall never know bodily affliction in this present life, but it means that the healing virtue which His grace has infused into us will work in us health and cure till we shall be without spot or wrinkle, and His salvation will at the last perfectly heal our bodies also. We are on our way to eternal health, for we have within us that life which shall be perfect forever and ever.
Therefore take your mother by the hand of faith and lay her before the Lord Jesus. Use the means which His providence provides, and seek the help of earthly physicians with thankfulness, yet look above all to Him who took the sick by the hand and lifted them up, for there is healing in that blessed contact with the Incarnate Christ. Healing must come from Him, and His touch still restores.
Let us pray together for her.
O Lord our God, our Great Physician, Thou seest this dear mother in her affliction and Thou knowest her frame and her sickness. Lay Thy healing hand upon her, we beseech Thee. If it be Thy gracious will, restore her to health and grant her yet a long life to be spared to her family and to serve Thee. Give her patience in suffering, and comfort her heart with the sense of pardoned sin through the blood of Jesus Christ Thy Son, for there is no true health apart from forgiveness. Let the healing leaves of the Tree of Life drop upon her, and let Thy grace keep her soul in perpetual health till that day when all sickness shall be no more. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, in whom alone is salvation and healing, Amen.
