Beloved of All
Your prayer for God's continual help is heard, and it is good that you ask in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we are saved and by which we may come to the Father.
Scripture teaches us that it is always seasonable to ask Him, as breathing is never out of season, so neither is praying. As one of the prophets said, we shall find Him prepared as the morning, always ready and waiting for us to draw near. If we fail to draw from His ever springing goodness, the fault is ours, not His, for He has supplied all His part with great mercy.
God does not withhold His gifts until we are perfect, but when we have begun and set our will toward Him, He gives abundant help. Yet we must also do our own part and not grow listless, serving Him in newness of spirit. He has freed us not to remain idle, but to walk in the way He has made more nimble for us through grace.
I will pray for you.
Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, look with mercy upon this soul who cries to You for help always. Grant continual help, strength in trial, wisdom in every decision, and grace to persevere. Keep this one near to You, guard from the fire of sin and from every evil, and lead step by step in Your will. Let Your Spirit help in weakness and teach constant prayer, that drawing near to You may become as natural as breathing. Fulfill Your good purpose and keep this one to the end, that Your name may be glorified. Amen.
