God can you please ask my ex boyfriend ### if he can hear me

We hear your heartache and longing to reconnect with your former boyfriend, and we want to come alongside you in prayer and counsel. First, we must address some important biblical truths. The relationship you describe as "ex-boyfriend" was not aligned with God's design from the beginning. The Bible teaches that relationships between men and women should be pursued with marriage as the goal, not casual dating or boyfriend/girlfriend arrangements (1 Corinthians 7:2, 9). Any physical intimacy outside of marriage is considered fornication in Scripture and grieves the heart of God (1 Corinthians 6:18-20).

We must also emphasize that our prayers are only effective when we come to God through Jesus Christ, for He alone is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today by confessing your sins, believing in His death and resurrection, and making Him Lord of your life (Romans 10:9-10).

Now, let us pray for you and this situation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear sister who is hurting and longing for reconciliation. Lord, we ask that You would first draw her close to You, that she may find her comfort, identity, and hope in Christ alone. We pray that You would heal her heart from the pain of this past relationship and help her to see it through Your eyes.

Father, we ask that You would speak to her clearly about any areas of her life that need to align with Your Word, especially regarding relationships. Give her the strength to let go of what was not of You and the wisdom to pursue godly relationships in the future. If it is Your will for her to be married, we pray that You would prepare her for a godly spouse who loves You above all else.

Lord, we also pray for her former boyfriend. If he does not know You, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to him and draw him to salvation. If he is a believer, we pray that You would convict him of any sin in his life and lead him into repentance. We ask that You would guard both of their hearts from any temptation to rekindle a relationship that was not honoring to You.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of obsession, unhealthy attachment, or emotional dependency in this situation. We declare that this sister is a beloved child of God, and her worth is found in Christ alone. Help her to release this man into Your hands and to trust You with her future.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who heals our brokenness and restores what is lost. Amen.

Dear sister, we encourage you to focus on your relationship with God first and foremost. Seek Him with all your heart, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). If you feel led to reach out to this man, we urge you to do so with wisdom, prayer, and godly counsel. However, we must caution you against pursuing a relationship that was not built on biblical principles. Instead, ask God to prepare you for a marriage that honors Him, with a spouse who shares your faith and commitment to Christ.

Spend time in God's Word, allowing it to renew your mind and transform your heart (Romans 12:2). Surround yourself with godly friends and mentors who can support and encourage you in your walk with the Lord. Remember, your identity is not found in a relationship with a man, but in your relationship with Jesus Christ. He loves you with an everlasting love (Jeremiah 31:3), and He has a perfect plan for your life. Trust in Him, and He will guide you every step of the way.

We hear how heavy it feels to want to be heard by someone who once knew you well and now feels far away. That longing to be understood and acknowledged doesn't just go away when a relationship ends, and it makes sense you would still carry words you wish he could hear.

Loneliness like this is a deeply human experience and it can feel both emotional and spiritual at once. It helps to remember there is a difference between being alone and being lonely, and that God Himself hears you even in moments when another person cannot or does not.

When that ache rises it can help to have a steady place to bring it. You might set aside a few quiet minutes to tell God honestly what you wish you could say to ###, without needing to send it. If you have a trusted friend, pastor or counselor, consider sharing with one safe person this week how you are feeling so you are not carrying this by yourself.

We are praying for you.

Father, thank You that You hear every word we speak and even the ones we cannot get out. We ask You to comfort this heart in its loneliness, give peace and wisdom for the days ahead, and draw near with Your presence and guidance. Lead toward healing and toward healthy community. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your heart speaks of a deep and painful longing to be heard, and that ache is not hidden from the Lord who sees all our sorrows. The Scriptures show us that such longings, when they become all absorbing, are meant to turn us toward the One who alone can satisfy the soul.

Job cried out that he might find God, not merely to have his circumstances changed but to have fellowship with Him. There are many who long for what is passing, but the blessed longing is that which pants after God as the hart pants for the water brooks, and which longs for His commandments and His holiness. No unrenewed heart by itself sighs after holiness, such desire is sown by the Spirit, and where it is found it is a sign that Christ Himself is seeking the soul, for the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost. When the sheep seeks the Shepherd and the Shepherd seeks the sheep, they shall not be long apart.

It is right to be honest about this pain, and yet we must ask whether the longing is fixed upon an idol that cannot heal. To hankering after that which is outside the Lord's good design will not bring peace, but to seek first reconciliation with God will. He is the God of peace and has prepared everything necessary for perfect reconciliation through Jesus Christ. The word of reconciliation is that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself, and pardon and healing are joined together in Him. When Jesus forgave, He also healed, and His salvation works health and cure till we shall be without spot.

There is an abundance of healing power in Christ. Not only His fruit but even His leaves are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ has healing virtue to change the life blood and make the nature new. You do not need to remain in that place of unheard sorrow. The Lord hears the faintest cry directed to Him, and He invites you to bring your brokenness to Him for pardon and healing rather than to seek your worth in being heard by another.

We will not ask God to bless a pursuit that is not according to His holy way, for marriage is His ordained lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and intimacy belongs within it, and salvation is through Jesus Christ alone. Instead we pray that the Lord will turn this longing into a holy longing after Himself, that He will heal your wound, forgive sin through the blood of Christ, and give you grace to walk in purity and holiness.

May the Lord grant you to find Him whom your soul most needs, to know that you are fully heard in Heaven when you pray through Christ, and to rest in His will for your future. May He guard your heart, give you wise and godly counsel in the fellowship of His people, and make Christ precious to you as your healer and your peace. We pray that you will seek Him with an agony of desire to be rid of all sin and to be made whole by His grace, trusting that He who has begun a good work will perfect it.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your pain in wanting to be heard and not knowing if your voice reaches the one you once were close to is real, and God sees that ache. It is natural to long for closure or connection after a relationship has ended, but prayer is not a way to make another person hear us or to hold on to a relationship that has ended. Instead, prayer is how we bring our own hearts to God and ask Him to shape us according to His will.

Scripture teaches that our greatest need is not to be heard by another person, but to be heard and reconciled to God Himself. We were separated from Him, with no one able to offer a sacrifice for us, until Christ Himself became our High Priest. Through His blood on the cross He made peace and reconciled us to God, not by our words or efforts, but by giving Himself for us. That reconciliation is the foundation for all healing, and it is offered to you now through faith in Jesus Christ alone.

Rather than asking God to compel your former boyfriend to hear you, bring your longing directly to the Lord and surrender this relationship to Him. Ask Him to heal your heart, to give you peace where there is restlessness, and to help you trust His good purposes for your life. If it is His will for communication to happen in a proper and healthy way, He can open that door in His time, but our first prayer should be for His will to be done and for you to be made whole in Him.

I will pray for you in this way. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, hear this heart that feels unheard. You know every thought and every sorrow. Wash away sin and draw this soul close to Yourself through the blood of Christ shed on the cross. Grant comfort, wisdom, and strength to release what is past and to walk forward in purity, patience, and hope. Fill the place of longing with Your presence, and guide each step according to Your perfect will. Lead toward healing and toward a life that seeks You first, trusting that You hear every prayer offered in Jesus name. Amen.

If you are able, share this burden with a trusted pastor or mature believer in your local church who can walk with you, pray with you, and encourage you as you seek the Lord.
