Give me the help I need Dear Lord

MVF

Humble Prayer Warrior
God, Thank you for sustaining me in life. Please help me as I meal prep, take care of myself , foamily and students. Thanks

We hear your heart, dear one, and we join you in lifting these daily burdens to the Lord. The weight of meal prepping, self-care, family responsibilities, and teaching can feel overwhelming, but we are reminded that God does not intend for us to carry these loads alone. Scripture tells us, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light" (Matthew 11:28-30 WEB). The Lord is your sustainer, and He invites you to cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).

We also want to gently remind you of the power and necessity of coming to God in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, as He Himself declared, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6 WEB). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the foundation of all true help and hope.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who is faithfully serving You in the daily tasks of life. Lord, we ask that You would strengthen her hands and renew her energy as she meal preps, cares for herself, and tends to her family and students. Father, we know that these responsibilities can feel heavy, but we trust in Your promise to sustain her. Give her wisdom to manage her time well, patience to handle each task with grace, and joy in the midst of the busyness. Remind her that her labor in You is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58), and that even the smallest acts of service are seen and valued by You.

Lord, we also pray for her students. May Your Holy Spirit move in their hearts, drawing them to You and giving them a hunger for Your Word. Grant her the words to speak life and truth into their lives, and may she be a light that points them to Jesus. For her family, Father, we ask that You would bind them together in love and unity. Help her to lead with a gentle and humble spirit, reflecting Your love in all she does.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of weariness or discouragement that may be trying to take root in her heart. We declare that she is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her (Romans 8:37), and that Your grace is sufficient for her in every moment (2 Corinthians 12:9). Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let her rest in the knowledge that You are her Provider, her Strength, and her Shield.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer, and we trust that You are already at work in her life. May she feel Your presence with her in every task, and may she find her strength in You alone. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.

Dear one, remember that God sees your faithfulness in the small things, and He delights in your service. You are not alone in this journey. Lean on Him, and let His Word be a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Take one day at a time, and trust that He will equip you for all that He has called you to do. You are loved, valued, and deeply cared for by the Creator of the universe. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and He will lead you into all that He has prepared for you.

What a beautiful, honest prayer. The juggle of meal prep, caring for family and students, and still finding space for yourself can feel relentless, and we hear in your words both gratitude and a quiet longing for help. It’s a brave thing to admit the load feels heavy.

When we hold that kind of tension day after day, it’s easy to pour everything out until there’s nothing left. We’ve seen that even the most devoted hearts can run dry. One of the most freeing truths we keep learning is that tending your own well isn’t selfish; it’s stewardship. You cannot keep giving what you don’t have. Maybe right now the most practical next step is to grant yourself permission to hit pause, even for ten minutes. Not to accomplish more, but simply to be, to let God refill you. If someone else can take a meal prep task this week, let them.

And that ordinary work of chopping vegetables or packing lunches, what if it became a quiet rhythm of breathing thanks, rather than one more obligation? We’re not talking about a giant spiritual exercise, just a small shift: “Lord, I offer this to You.” It turns a chore into a rhythm of care for your own soul.

We’re praying with you for strength, for steadiness, and for a tangible sense of God’s nearness in the middle of the everyday.

Lord, thank You that You see every meal prepared, every student encouraged, every family need carried. We ask for fresh energy and gentle wisdom for this dear one. Supply the rest and clarity they need, and help them receive help without guilt. Wrap them in Your peace that doesn’t depend on getting it all done. In Jesus’ name, amen.

It is a mercy that you acknowledge the Lord’s sustaining hand, for every breath is a gift from Him. Now, as you spread your cares before the throne, meal preparation, the care of your own body, your family, your students, see to it that you do not, in the very whirl of these well-meant duties, leave your own vineyard unkept. There are many who make themselves keepers of the vineyards of others, while their own souls lie open to drought and the wild beasts. Busyness, even in rightful service, may become a snare, a cushion for self-reliance. You are not to rush upon these works with a spirit that says, “I can manage, give me strength,” but rather with a heart bowed low, saying, “Lord, without Thee I am black, I am nothing; search me, and see if there be any self-trust that offends.”

Let your preparations be steeped in self-examination. Do not merely ask for help to get through the day; ask the Lord to lay bare any root of self-conceit that might make you think too highly of your own diligence. It is good and just to supply the needs of your household, yet if this becomes the main thought, you have made an idol of your own industry. The seal of true preparation is not perfect performance, but humble, self-distrusting faith in Christ. When you stand at the kitchen bench or bend over your students, your first care must be to abide in Him, as a little child clings without any pretence of strength. He must nurse you, feed you with the milk of the Word, else all your meal-prepping and care-giving will be but the bustling of a soul that has forgotten its own emptiness.

Therefore, while your hands are occupied, let your heart be mortified. See that you do not come to these duties as to a common table, without solemnity of soul. The work of preparation, that which makes you meet for every good work, is wrought in you only as you loathe self and cling nakedly to the Cross. Then, and only then, shall your outward service be the overflow of a spirit that has first been filled by grace; your family and students will be tended by one who has first been tended by the Good Shepherd. Go to your tasks, but go as one who has first been with Jesus, afraid not of the day’s burdens but of the least self-neglect.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You cry out for help with your meals, your body, your family, and your students. This is good, for we are commanded to labor and to care for those entrusted to us. Yet I ask you: when you pray for this help, do you seek the Giver or merely His gifts? Many followed Christ not because of the miracle but because they ate the loaves and were filled. He rebuked them, saying, "Labor not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life." As you chop vegetables and set your table, beware lest your heart be more set on the nourishment of the body than on the Bread that came down from heaven. The leprosy of the soul is sin; dread this above all outward cares. For what profit is there if you prepare a wholesome meal for your students but neglect to feed them the word of His grace? What gain is there if you tend your body but starve your soul?

Take care, then, that while you are busy comforting one soul, your own or another's, you do not put a stumbling-block before thousands. I have seen many who, in their zeal to serve others, become idle in prayer, sharp-tongued from fatigue, or resentful when their labor is not praised. Such conduct undermines the very faith you wish to build. Remember Paul: he worked with his own hands night and day, not only for himself but to support the weak, and in all things he showed himself an example of labor and humility. Yet he declared, "I am pure from the blood of all men, for I have not shunned to declare unto you the whole counsel of God." So too you must labor, but always with an eye to that greater counsel. Commend yourself, your family, and those students to God and to the word of His grace, which alone is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among the sanctified.

Work, therefore, with diligence, but pray with even greater earnestness. Let your meal prep be a service of love, yet let your soul feast more eagerly on Scripture and self-command. In all your caring, see that you do not love your own life so dearly that you shrink from the hard words of truth or from the daily dying to self. For the time given you is short, and the wolves are never far. Support the weak, remembering the Lord's own word: "It is more blessed to give than to receive." Give your labor, give your prayers, give your tears for those under your hand, but above all, give your heart wholly to Christ. Then shall He, who cleansed the leper and turned water into wine, transform your common work into a cup of gladness for His kingdom.

Your prayer touches on the very heart of the Lord's provision. The desire to meal prep, to care for yourself, your family, and your students, this is the daily work He has given you, and He sees it. Remember the widow at Zarephath, gathering sticks to make a small meal. Her need was practical and immediate, yet the word came: put God first, and the barrel of meal would not run out nor the jar of oil fail. She acted in obedience with what little she had, and God sustained her day by day. Your meal prep, your tending to your own health, your pouring out for family and the students under your charge, these are the sticks you gather. Do them as an offering, trusting that He who calls you to this work will supply the strength for it.

There is a balance woven throughout Scripture. We have genuine responsibilities; caring for our own household is a witness to the faith. Yet our strength is not in our own ability to juggle everything perfectly. Samson’s great strength lay in his separation to God, his life yielded before heaven. When you step into the kitchen or into a classroom, the secret of your endurance is not in flawless planning but in a heart that has already cried out, “Lord, these tasks are Yours.” To ascribe glory and strength to Him lifts your eyes from your own weakness to His limitless power. The God who sits enthroned over the flood is the same One who gives strength to His people. Ask Him for that strength openly, and then do the next practical thing, trusting He is in it.

Do not let the many things trouble you as they did Martha. One thing is needful: sitting at His feet in your heart even as your hands are busy. When you commit the needs of your family and your students to Him, you are placing them in hands far more capable than your own. He knows how to care for His own in supernatural ways, but He also often does it through the very ordinary work He has set before you. So go ahead, prepare those meals with a prayer of thanks. Tend to your own well-being, knowing your body is a temple. Serve your students diligently. In all of it, you are fulfilling an honorable charge, and the Lord will see that you are cared for in return. His word for you is the same: put God first in these routines, and He will faithfully take care of the rest.
