### Girl with Leukemia

Spleangeth

Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for "###" ### ###, a little girl with ###. She needs a miracle healing and her family needs strength and comfort.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious little girl and her family in our prayers. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and binds up our wounds. We ask for Your miraculous healing hand to touch this child, restoring her body to full health and strength. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We stand on this promise, believing that nothing is too hard for You.

Lord, we also pray for her family, who must be carrying such a heavy burden. Comfort them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, as You have promised in Philippians 4:7. Strengthen them with Your might, reminding them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Surround them with Your love and the support of their community, so they do not feel alone in this battle.

We rebuke the spirit of fear and despair that may be trying to take hold of their hearts. We declare that perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18), and we choose to trust in Your unfailing love. We speak life and hope over this situation, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).

Father, we also ask that You would draw this family closer to You through this trial. May they experience Your presence in a tangible way, finding rest in You alone. We pray that their faith would be strengthened, and that they would witness Your glory in this situation.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the One through whom we have access to Your throne. There is no other name by which we can be saved or healed, and we trust in His power to bring about this miracle. Amen.

We’ve been lifting up your request today, and we want you to know that you, your family, and this precious little girl are not alone. It’s overwhelming to watch a child suffer, and we ache with you. While we join you in asking God for a miracle of healing, we also pray for a steady supply of strength and comfort in the moments when the weight feels unbearable.

Practical help can often be a quiet anchor in a storm. If you haven’t already, consider letting your church family or a few close friends know one specific way they can step in, maybe a meal, a ride for a sibling, or simply someone to sit with you in the waiting room. Many people want to help but don’t know how; giving them even a small task can bring real relief and remind you that you are surrounded.

Lord Jesus, we bring this little girl before You with hearts full of hope and concern. We ask for Your healing power to move through her body, halt the leukemia, restore her strength, and grant wisdom to every medical professional caring for her. Hold this family close: give them courage when fear presses in, peace that surpasses their understanding, and moments of rest and even quiet joy in the midst of the struggle. Let them feel Your nearness in the dark hours, knowing they are held by a love that will not let them go. We trust her life to You. Amen.

When the storm rages, and a little lamb is afflicted with a cruel disease, the hearts of God’s people groan for words of solace that have substance. This child’s illness is a deep trial, but remember that the Lord is nigh unto the broken-hearted, and He bids us comfort one another. Is not the very leaf of the tree of life, revealed in Christ, given for the healing of the nations? The least thing about Jesus brims with restoring virtue, His touch, His word, His presence. We cry for her miracle, and rightly so, for He is the God of omnipotent grace, who still commands winds and waves, and every fever obeys Him. Yet even if deliverance tarries, His Word is the peculiar comfort that quickens the soul. This is my comfort in my affliction, to be made alive inwardly by the Spirit, so that the trial becomes a furnace that refines instead of destroys.

To the weeping father and mother, I say: the promise is not for a strength that fades, but for a renewing of might. They that wait upon the Lord shall gain fresh vigor for each day’s burden. Human fortitude soon drains to the dregs, but the strength that comes from on high is inexhaustible. Wait upon Him in prayer, cling to the mercy seat, and He will undergird you. You need not merely to be consoled, but to be established, comfort alone is insufficient without constancy, and constancy without comfort would break you. So may the Father of mercies, and the Lord Jesus Christ Himself, pour into your hearts both a peace that passes understanding and a steadfastness that does not waver. In your home, let there be the incense of family prayer, for where the throne of grace is erected, despair cannot long abide.

The child’s frame is weak, yet God delights to perfect His strength in weakness. Do not look to your own faith or feelings; look full into the face of the Crucified One, who knows all things and loves to the end. He who calmed the sea and mastered demons is not baffled by a sickness in the blood. Perhaps the Lord will bid this misery be as waters that pass away, forgotten in the flood of better days, so that the morning of health breaks upon her with a brightness that outshines the memory of pain. But until that hour, let the family rest in this: whether in life or death, the covenant of grace stands sure. Nothing can separate them from the love of God in Christ Jesus. Take heart, then, and teach this little one of the Shepherd who gathers lambs in His bosom. The same Holy Spirit who quickens the dead in sin can fill this household with songs in the night.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The suffering of a little child pierces every heart, and rightly do you cry out for a miracle of healing, for strength and comfort for her family. Let us first remember that our Lord is full of compassion and often acts even when we do not ask, as when He fed the multitudes in the wilderness because His heart was moved. So we lift up this precious child and her loved ones, trusting that God sees their tears and knows their need.

Yet we must also fix our minds on what truly comforts the soul. Many suppose that wonders are the greatest signs of God’s favor, but consider John the Baptist: he did no miracle, yet he drew whole cities to repentance by his boldness and holy life. Job, in his agony, worked no marvel, but his endurance shone brighter than any sign. David, while yet young, won God’s heart without raising the dead or cleansing lepers. Miracles, if we are not sober, can even harm, puffing up with pride like the Corinthians or causing one to seek glory rather than virtue. The truest miracle is a life of steadfast faith in the furnace of affliction.

Therefore, let us pray ardently for healing, for our God is able to do all things. But let us also pray for a pure conscience, unwavering trust, and a share in the comfort that comes from knowing Christ. The Apostle reminds us that when he suffered and was in bonds, his disciples grew bolder, seeing that the gospel could not be chained. So too, this family’s courage and hope can become a living testimony, more powerful than any sign, if they lean on the Lord.

Keep before their eyes the resurrection in Christ. All shall rise, but those in Christ rise to glory and honor. This hope is an unshakable diadem that no death, no disease, can steal. Even as the body wastes, the inner person is renewed day by day, and the surpassing weight of eternal glory makes every trial light by comparison.

Pray then with fervent tears for a miracle. But know that the Lord may grant strength to endure, and that endurance itself is a mighty work of grace. In all things, may this child and her family be wrapped in the peace that passes understanding, knowing that their comfort overflows through Christ, who suffered for us and ever lives to intercede.
