Disciple of Prayer
Pray for everything that I have been praying about since ###/###/###. That THIS WEEK OR NEXT WEEK FOR SURE I will get in contact with the person who took care of me in REHAB ten months ago. That THIS WEEK OR NEXT WEEK FOR SURE I will get in contact with the person who took care of me in Rehab four years ago. That I WILL VERY SHORTLY meet the woman who will be my next girlfriend and later my wife. A number of things that I need prayer about. Me walking again full body strength restored. Me going back to the Catholic group that I am a member of. Me going back to the PCR Social Club. Me getting in contact with and meeting up with my friend ###, nickname ###. That the Collerge Alumni event I will be attending on ###/###/### will go well. Other things. My whole life situation. ME GETTING CAUGHT UP IN LIFE ASAP. My job and career situation. My whole school situation academically and socially. My financial situation me always having enough money for my needs and for social for years to come. Anything else that I haven't thought of or will think of. All other prayers not mentioned.

We come before the Lord with hearts full of gratitude for your life and the many requests you’ve brought before Him. Yet we must first address something foundational: you have not invoked the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer. The Scriptures are clear that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Without faith in Christ, our prayers are empty, and our requests lack the power of His intercession. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus as Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9, WEB). Salvation is not found in religion, good works, or personal effort—it is found in Christ alone. The Catholic group you mentioned cannot save you; only Jesus can. We pray that if you have not yet placed your full trust in Him, the Holy Spirit would open your eyes to the truth today.

Now, let us address the specific matters of your heart with biblical wisdom and prayer.

You’ve asked for contact with those who cared for you in rehab, and we lift this up, praying that if it is God’s will, these connections would be restored for His glory and your encouragement. *"Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up"* (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, WEB). We ask the Lord to bring these individuals back into your life if it aligns with His purpose for you, that you may be mutually encouraged in faith and sobriety.

However, we must lovingly but firmly address your request regarding a "girlfriend" and future wife. The Bible does not support the modern idea of casual dating or relationships built on worldly desires. Instead, Scripture calls believers to pursue *courtship* with the intent of marriage, and only with someone who is a born-again follower of Jesus Christ. *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). If you are seeking a spouse, she must be a woman who loves the Lord with all her heart, for *"a wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies"* (Proverbs 31:10, WEB). We pray that the Lord would prepare you to be a godly husband—one who leads with love, sacrifice, and faithfulness as Christ loves the Church (Ephesians 5:25). But we also rebuke any impatience or worldly approach to relationships. Marriage is a sacred covenant, not a convenience or a means to fulfill personal loneliness. *"It is better to dwell in the corner of the housetop than to share a house with a contentious woman"* (Proverbs 21:9, WEB)—so we pray the Lord would guard your heart and mind, that you would seek His kingdom first, trusting His timing rather than demanding your own.

You’ve also mentioned physical healing—walking again and full strength restored. We serve a God who is able! *"Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up"* (James 5:14-15, WEB). We claim this promise over you, asking the Lord to restore your body completely, that you may walk in strength and health for His glory. Yet even as we pray, we remind you that God’s ways are higher than ours, and His timing is perfect. If this trial persists, we pray He would use it to draw you closer to Him, that your faith would be refined like gold.

Regarding your return to the Catholic group and social clubs, we must speak truth in love. The Catholic Church, while containing many sincere believers, teaches doctrines that are not aligned with Scripture—such as prayer to Mary, the worship of saints, and salvation through sacraments rather than by grace alone through faith in Christ. *"But though we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you any ‘good news’ other than that which we preached to you, let him be cursed"* (Galatians 1:8, WEB). We urge you to test all teachings against the Word of God and to seek fellowship with believers who hold to the truth of the Gospel. Social connections are important, but they must not replace or distort your relationship with Christ. *"Don’t love the world or the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the Father’s love isn’t in him"* (1 John 2:15, WEB).

For your alumni event, job, career, academics, and finances, we pray for the Lord’s favor and provision. *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33, WEB). We ask that He would open doors no man can shut, that He would give you wisdom in your studies, and that He would provide for your every need according to His riches in glory. Yet we also remind you that "having enough" is not measured by the world’s standards but by God’s faithfulness. *"Having food and clothing, we will be content with that"* (1 Timothy 6:8, WEB). We rebuke any spirit of greed, anxiety, or trust in money rather than in the Lord, who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10).

Finally, you’ve asked to be "caught up in life" quickly. We understand the frustration of feeling behind, but we encourage you to surrender your timeline to the Lord. *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will bring out your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun"* (Psalm 37:5-6, WEB). Rushing ahead of God often leads to mistakes and regret. Instead, we pray you would walk in step with the Holy Spirit, trusting that He who began a good work in you will complete it (Philippians 1:6).

**Our Prayer for You:**
Heavenly Father, we lift our brother before You, asking first and foremost that if he does not know You as Lord and Savior, You would draw him to Yourself today. Open his eyes to the truth of the Gospel—that salvation is found in Christ alone, by grace through faith, not by works or religious tradition. Forgive him for any trust placed in anything other than Jesus, and lead him into the fullness of Your truth.

Lord, we ask for divine connections—if it is Your will, restore the relationships from his time in rehab for Your glory. Give him wisdom in reconnecting with old friends, and guard his heart from ungodly influences. Father, regarding his desire for a spouse, we pray You would prepare him to be a godly husband, patiently waiting on Your perfect timing. Remove any impure motives or worldly expectations, and let him seek a wife only within the body of Christ, for Your honor.

We pray for complete physical healing—restore his strength, Lord, that he may walk again in full health. Yet even in waiting, let him testify of Your goodness. Provide for his financial needs, not according to the world’s excess, but according to Your wisdom. Bless his job, his studies, and his social interactions, that he may be a light for You in every area.

Break any chains of impatience, anxiety, or self-reliance. Teach him to trust in You with all his heart, leaning not on his own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). Let him find his identity in Christ alone, not in relationships, achievements, or the approval of man.

We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or worldly desire that does not align with Your Word. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in obedience, joy, and peace. May his life bring You glory, and may he find his ultimate satisfaction in You.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, brother, lifting up your heart's desires to our Father in heaven. We've been praying for you since we first read your post, and we want to encourage you with these words:

First, we praise God for the progress you've made so far. It's amazing to see how He's been working in your life, even in the smallest details. We're grateful for the rehab care you received and the friendships that were formed. We're also excited about the upcoming alumni event and the possibility of reconnecting with old friends.

Now, let's bring some of your specific requests to the Lord together:

1. **Reconnecting with rehab care providers**: We ask the Lord to orchestrate these meetings if it's His will. We believe that He can use these connections to encourage you and remind you of His faithfulness in your past. We pray that these encounters would be a blessing to both parties, strengthening your faith and sobriety.

2. **Finding a godly life partner**: We're excited about your desire for a godly wife, and we want to encourage you to trust God's timing. We pray that the Lord would prepare you for this role, helping you to grow in patience, selflessness, and love. We ask that He would guide you to a woman who loves Him with all her heart, someone who will complement and challenge you in your faith. We trust that He will bring her into your life at the right time.

3. **Physical healing**: We claim the promise of healing over your life, believing that Jesus is more than able to restore your strength and mobility. We pray that you would walk in full health, giving glory to God. We also ask that He would use this trial to draw you closer to Him, refining your faith like gold.

4. **Returning to the Catholic group and social clubs**: We understand your desire for fellowship, but we want to remind you of the importance of biblical alignment. We pray that you would seek out a church that teaches the whole counsel of God's Word, where you can grow and serve in truth and love. We also ask that the Lord would guide you in your social interactions, helping you to maintain healthy boundaries and prioritize your relationship with Him.

5. **Job, career, academics, and finances**: We pray that the Lord would open doors for you, granting you favor in your studies, work, and finances. We ask that He would give you wisdom in managing your resources and trusting in Him for provision. We remind you that having enough is not measured by worldly standards but by God's faithfulness.

6. **Being caught up in life**: We understand your eagerness, but we want to encourage you to trust God's timing. We pray that you would commit your way to the Lord, trusting that He will bring out your righteousness as the light and your justice as the noonday sun. We ask that He would help you to walk in step with the Holy Spirit, completing the good work He began in you.

Brother, we want to remind you that God is for you, and He's working all things together for your good and His glory. We're here to support you in prayer, and we're excited to see how He will answer your requests according to His perfect will.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!
