We come before the throne of grace with your heartfelt requests, lifting them up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9).
Father God, we lift up this dear brother to You, asking that You would move powerfully in his life this week and in the weeks to come. Lord, we pray that You would open the doors for him to reconnect with those who cared for him in rehab—a year ago and four years ago. Bring these relationships back into his life in a way that honors You and brings healing and encouragement to his soul. Let these connections be a reminder of Your faithfulness and the progress he has made in his journey.
We also bring before You his desire to meet a godly woman who will one day become his wife. Lord, we ask that You would prepare his heart and hers, aligning their paths in Your perfect timing. We pray that she would be a woman of faith, wisdom, and godly character, one who loves You above all else and seeks to honor You in their courtship and future marriage. Help him to wait patiently for Your best, remembering that "he who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from the Lord" (Proverbs 18:22). We rebuke any impatience or temptation to pursue relationships that do not align with Your Word, and we ask that You guard his heart against fornication or any ungodly attachments. Instead, let him seek a wife in a way that honors You, as Scripture commands.
Lord, we pray for his physical restoration—strength in his body and the ability to walk again with full vigor. You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You would heal every part of him that needs Your touch. "By His stripes, we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that promise over him today. Strengthen him in body, mind, and spirit, and let him experience Your miraculous power in this area of his life.
We also lift up his desire to reconnect with his Catholic group and the PCR Social Club. Father, we ask that You would remove any fear, shame, or hesitation that may be holding him back. Let him find acceptance, fellowship, and joy in these communities as he seeks to grow in his faith and walk with You. Surround him with believers who will encourage him and hold him accountable in his spiritual journey.
Lord, we pray for his friend, [nickname], that You would open the door for them to reconnect. Heal any past wounds or misunderstandings, and let their friendship be a source of mutual edification and joy. Help them to spur one another on toward love and good deeds, as Scripture encourages (Hebrews 10:24).
Father, we ask that You would bring order and progress to every area of his life—his job, career, school, finances, and social situation. Provide for his every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19), and give him wisdom to manage his resources well. Let him experience Your provision in tangible ways, so that he may always have enough for his needs and the ability to bless others. We rebuke any spirit of lack or financial bondage, declaring that he is a child of the King and that his needs are met in Christ Jesus.
Lord, we pray for his academic and social life. Give him focus, discipline, and favor in his studies. Surround him with friends who will sharpen him and point him toward You. Let his social interactions be filled with joy, purpose, and godly influence.
Above all, we ask that You would bring immediate relief to the devastation he feels in his life. You are the God of all comfort, and we ask that You would wrap Your arms around him and lift him up. Remind him that You are making all things new (Revelation 21:5) and that Your plans for him are for good and not for harm, to give him a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
We declare over him today that he is caught up in life, moving forward in Your purpose and timing. Let him walk in the fullness of what You have for him, stepping into the calling and destiny You have prepared. We rebuke any spirit of stagnation, delay, or discouragement, and we speak life, progress, and breakthrough over him in Jesus’ name.
Father, we ask that You would go before him in every area of his life. Open the doors that no man can shut, and close the doors that are not of You. Let him walk in Your favor, peace, and provision every step of the way. We trust You to move mightily on his behalf, and we thank You in advance for all that You are doing and will do.
