We thank you for sharing this desire of your heart with us and we join you in bringing it before the Lord together in Jesus' name. It is a good and godly desire to seek a wife who will walk with you faithfully in marriage, and we praise God that you are looking for qualities that honor Him, good communication, loyalty and honesty.

We pray that God will lead you to the woman He has for you to be your wife, and that your courtship would be centered on Him with the goal of a lifelong marriage between a man and a woman as God designed. Scripture teaches us in Genesis 2:24 that a man will leave his father and his mother and will join with his wife and they will be one flesh, and in Proverbs 18:22 that whoever finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor of Yahweh. We encourage you to seek a spouse who is a Christian believer, for we are told in 2 Corinthians 6:14 not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers, and to look beyond outward charm to a woman who fears the Lord, as in Proverbs 31:30 charm is deceitful and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears Yahweh, she shall be praised. As you desire loyalty and honesty, we are reminded in Proverbs 12:22 that lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh but those who do the truth are his delight, and in Ephesians 4:25 and Ephesians 4:29 we are called to speak truth with our neighbor and to let no corrupt speech proceed out of our mouth but only what is good for building up. We also encourage you to pursue purity in this courtship and to keep yourselves from fornication, which is sex before or outside of marriage, and to honor God with your bodies and your communication as you get to know one another, saving the gift of physical intimacy for the marriage covenant alone.

We notice you prayed to the Lord but did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12 there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We encourage you to place your faith fully in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to come to God in His name. In Romans 10:9 it says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up our brother to You. We ask that You prepare his heart and the heart of the woman You have for him to be his wife. Help him to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness as taught in Matthew 6:33, trusting that You will provide all that he needs. Make him the godly husband that a godly wife would desire, growing in love, patience, integrity and leadership. Lead him to a woman who loves You above all, who is loyal, honest and kind, whose speech builds up and whose life shows the fruit of Your Spirit. Give them both wisdom and discernment, good and godly communication, and a shared commitment to truth and faithfulness. Keep their courtship pure and honoring to You, with marriage as their holy goal, and let their future marriage reflect Christ and His church and bring glory to Your name. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

We encourage you while you wait to be diligent in prayer, in the Word, and in fellowship with other believers. Grow in the qualities you hope to find in a wife, be faithful in the work God has given you now, and trust His perfect timing. He knows the desires of your heart and He is faithful to guide those who seek Him wholeheartedly.

We appreciate you sharing this longing so honestly. Wanting a relationship marked by good communication, loyalty and honesty is a good and understandable desire, and we hear the loneliness underneath it as well.

While you wait and pray, it can help to keep investing in the life God has given you right now. Strong marriages are built on the same qualities you named, and those qualities grow first in everyday friendships and community. Staying connected in a local church, serving alongside others, and building steady friendships gives space for character to be shaped and for you to be known by others who can encourage you and speak honestly with you.

One small next step you might consider is asking a trusted pastor or mature friend to walk with you in this season, someone who knows you, can pray with you regularly, and can help you notice the ways you are growing in communication and faithfulness now.

Father, we bring our brother before You in Jesus name. You know his desire for companionship and for a woman who shares his values. Give him wisdom, patience and peace as he waits on Your direction. Guard his heart from discouragement and help him grow in honesty, loyalty and kindness in all his relationships. Lead him clearly and draw him closer to You each day. Amen.

Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Your desire for a good and godly companion is a right and comely desire before the Lord, and we join our prayers with yours that He who ordained marriage from the beginning would guide you according to His perfect wisdom.

The Scripture teaches us that marriage is a most sacred and honourable estate. It is not a less sacred thing to be the married wife than to be consecrated to other holy service, for the Lord Himself has set forth His love to His people under the figure of a marriage covenant. It is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, wherein the two become one, and the very crown of it is mutual delight and holy complacency in one another under Christ. Within that covenant alone the Lord has placed the intimacies of dwelling together as husband and wife, and it is there that loyalty, honesty and true communion flourish to His glory.

We pray for you now to our gracious Father through Jesus Christ alone, by whom alone we have access to the throne of grace. O Lord, Thou knowest the longing of this heart for a helpmeet who will walk beside him in faith. Grant him, if it be Thy will, a woman who loves Thee first and above all, that her loyalty may spring from loyalty to Christ, and her honesty from a heart made true by Thy Spirit. Grant that there may be between them good and gracious communication, patient, loving and truthful speech, such as becomes those who fear Thee. Keep them both pure in the waiting, reserving all that belongs to marriage for the covenant of marriage itself. Make him to be the godly man who would be worthy of a godly wife, steadfast, sober, prayerful and kind. And above all let Thy will be done, that whether Thou givest or withholdest, he may say with Job, Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him, knowing that Thy way is best.

Wait upon the Lord, and seek first His kingdom. Be diligent to be found in the ways of holiness, in the Word and in prayer, and in faithful fellowship with the people of God, for there the Lord is pleased to form such unions as are for His glory. Trust His timing, which is never late, and ask Him to make you ready as well as to make her ready, that if He brings you together you may together serve Him with one heart all your days.

Your prayer for a faithful companion who walks with you in loyalty, honesty and good communication is a good and honorable desire before God, and we join you in bringing it to Him.

Scripture teaches us to follow peace with all men and holiness, and holiness in this matter means a chaste and orderly life in marriage. Marriage itself is honorable and pure. It does not in itself make a person holy, but it preserves the holiness that comes through faith in Christ by keeping us from defilement and from union with what is impure. Therefore the way to prepare for the gift you seek is to keep yourself pure now, not committing fornication but guarding your body and heart for the wife God may give you.

We pray that the Lord, who grants salvation through Jesus Christ alone, would lead you into a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. That kind of peace is not the empty quiet that even those without faith can have for a time, but a life shaped by godliness in both doctrine and daily conduct. Seek a woman who shares that same faith and that same desire for a life ordered by God, for marriage is a deep communion of bodies and lives, and it is meant to be entered by those who are one in the Lord. A good name, a faithful character and a honest walk are better than riches, and these are the marks to look for and to cultivate in yourself.

If you are unmarried, do not give yourself to impurity while you wait, and do not be led by restless desire or by the love of money or outward advantage to delay what is good or to rush what should be done with prayer and counsel. Keep your desire vehement yet restrained, your conduct grave and chaste, and let your marriage, when it comes, receive bodies pure and undefiled. Such a marriage is truly honorable, and it becomes a place where husband and wife help one another toward sobriety, where children may be raised in blessing, and where both learn to submit to one another in love rather than seeking dissolute laughter or empty pleasure.

So we pray for you now. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we ask that You would keep this Your servant in purity and in faith, guarding his thoughts and his ways from unrighteousness. Grant him patience and wisdom as he waits, and in Your good time provide a wife who loves You, who is loyal, honest and gentle in speech, who will walk with him in peace and holiness. Teach them both to communicate with grace and truth, to be faithful to the covenant of marriage as one man and one woman for life, and to keep their union honorable before You. Prepare his heart now to be a faithful husband, diligent in every good work, constant in prayer and upright in life, that whatever household You form may be built on Christ and may reflect Your goodness.
