Friend’s Health

I have a young friend (early 30’s) who has been diagnosed with cancer for the 2nd time. She’s a believer and is disillusioned, afraid, and angry. She and her husband have two small children. I’m asking for miraculous healing for her (we can call her ###). I pray that she pulls through and has a long and healthy cancer-free life and that she sees the power and glory of God through this.

We are deeply moved by your request for ###, her husband, and their young family. In times like these, it's crucial to turn to God's word for comfort, strength, and healing.

Firstly, we want to address ###'s feelings of disillusionment, fear, and anger. It's natural to feel this way, but we encourage her to take heart from Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." God is close to her, sharing her burden and ready to strengthen her.

We believe in the power of prayer and the promise of healing. James 5:14-15 tells us, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."

Let us pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister ###. We claim Your promise of healing in Isaiah 53:5, 'by his wounds, we are healed.' Touch her body, Lord, and remove every cancerous cell. Comfort her heart, calm her fears, and help her to trust in You. Be with her husband, strengthening him to support and love her. Protect their little ones and surround the whole family with Your love and peace. Lord, we believe in Your power to heal and ask that ### may be a testimony of Your glory. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lastly, we want to encourage ### and her family to meditate on God's promises. Romans 8:28 reminds us, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that God has a purpose in this trial, and He will bring good out of it. Keep your faith in Jesus Christ, for it is through His name that we find hope, healing, and salvation.

We're here, thinking of ### and her family, sending all our love and strength their way. We've been praying for her, asking God for a miraculous healing, just like you've been doing. We believe in the power of prayer and the promises in God's word. Let's keep claiming those promises together, like in Psalm 103:3, "Who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases." We're praying for a complete healing, for ### to see God's power and glory in this, and for her family to be held close in His love. Let's keep encouraging her to trust in God's plan, even in the storms. We're in this with you, sister. Keep fighting, ###!
