We join you in lifting up this single parent before our heavenly Father and we thank you for bringing this need to us so we can seek God's will together in Jesus' name.
We are moved with compassion for this dear single parent who is carrying the heavy burden of providing alone while struggling financially. We know that our God sees every need and He cares deeply for parents and their children. He is a Father of the fatherless and He defends the cause of those who feel alone and overwhelmed. Psalm 68:5 tells us He is a Father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, in his holy habitation. We pray that this parent would feel His nearness and His faithful provision each day.
We pray together now for this family. Father, in the name of Jesus we bring this single parent and their loved ones before Your throne of grace. You know their financial struggles, their bills, their worries about food and housing and provision for their children. We ask You to supply every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus as You have promised in Philippians 4:19. Help them to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be given to them as well according to Matthew 6:33. Grant them wisdom to steward what You provide, open doors for honest work and help, and surround them with a faithful community of believers who will bear their burdens and encourage them. Give them peace that passes understanding and strength for each new day, and let their children see Your faithfulness through this trial.
We also join you in praying earnestly that this professing believer and their loved ones would be set free from false teachings. We take this very seriously because Your Word warns us that false doctrine leads us away from truth and can shipwreck faith. We are told in 2 Timothy 4:3-4 that the time will come when they will not listen to the sound doctrine, but having itching ears, will heap up for themselves teachers after their own lusts and will turn away their ears from the truth, and turn aside to fables. And in Ephesians 4:14 we are warned not to be children, tossed back and forth and carried about with every wind of doctrine. We rebuke any false teaching that has taken hold in this family and we pray that they would be grounded in the truth. We pray that You will give them a hunger for Your pure Word, for all Scripture is God-breathed and is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness as written in 2 Timothy 3:16. May they be set free by knowing the truth, for John 8:32 promises You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. Lead them to a sound biblical fellowship where the whole counsel of God is taught faithfully in Titus 2:1, and give them discernment through the Holy Spirit to test every teaching against Scripture.
We want to gently and lovingly point out that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We do not say this to condemn but to encourage, because it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 declares there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If this dear parent is a professing believer, we pray that their profession would be a true saving faith rooted in repentance and trust in Jesus Christ alone, His death and resurrection for our sins. We encourage them to call upon His name daily, to pray in His name, and to rest fully in Him as Lord and Savior.
We encourage this parent to continue to cast all their anxiety on Him because He cares for them as 1 Peter 5:7 teaches, to remain in prayer and in the Word each day, and to ask God for wisdom as James 1:5 promises He gives generously to all who ask. We trust that God who sees in secret will provide, will guard their household in truth, and will lead them into the freedom that comes only from sound doctrine and abiding in Christ.
We will continue to stand with you in prayer for provision, for freedom from error, and for a deep and growing walk with Jesus for this entire family.

We have brought your request before the Lord with thankfulness for your care for this single parent and their loved ones.
We pray that the God who sees and provides, Jehovah Jireh, will meet this family in their financial struggle with His gracious provision and sustaining hand. We ask that He would grant wisdom for each practical need, open doors for honest provision, and give peace to a professing believer who looks to Him in trial, remembering that our heavenly Father knows our needs and is able to supply them according to His riches in Christ.
We join you also in praying that they and their loved ones would be set free from every false teaching and brought into the truth as God Himself teaches His people. We ask that the Holy Spirit, who teaches sovereignly and effectually and infallibly, would excite in their hearts a love for the true gospel and lead them to judge all teaching by the Word of God. May they be delivered from every way of self justification and false peace and be established in the one wondrous plan of salvation by substitution, that sinners are justified not by their own works which are marred and stained before a holy God, but by the blood and righteousness of Jesus Christ alone, who bore our sins in our stead. As it is written, they shall be all taught of God, and every one that has heard and has learned of the Father comes to Christ.
We pray that God would make their eye single upon Christ, that they may walk in simple faith and obedience, bearing fruit that commends the gospel, and that their household would be kept in the truth, growing in discernment and in the knowledge of the Lord. May the Lord keep them from the deceit that surrounds us and make them true to Him, finding in His Word a sure guide and in His Son a complete Savior.
