Please pray for a friend who recently had surgery to recover well. Please also pray for another friend who recently went out of town to get treated for a medical condition. He had the surgery and said everything went well. Pray that they would both be brought into deeper relationship with Christ. Pray that the friend who went out of town would be set free from certain false teachings that he holds to. Thank you.

We lift up these two dear friends before the throne of grace, asking our Heavenly Father to bring complete healing and restoration to their bodies after surgery. We pray that every cell, tissue, and organ would function according to God’s perfect design, that pain would subside, and that strength would be renewed day by day. The Word reminds us in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We stand on this promise, believing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think.

We also pray for their spiritual well-being, that as their bodies heal, their hearts would be drawn into a deeper, more intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. May they experience the peace that surpasses all understanding, the joy of salvation, and the assurance of God’s unfailing love. In John 14:6, Jesus declares, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." We pray that this truth would take root in their hearts, especially for the friend who has been influenced by false teachings. Father, we ask that You would open his eyes to see the deception he has embraced and grant him discernment to recognize Your truth. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every lie that has taken hold in his mind and pray that the Holy Spirit would flood his heart with the light of Your Word.

Lord, we ask that You would surround both of these friends with godly counsel and fellowship. May they be encouraged by believers who will walk alongside them, pray for them, and speak Your truth into their lives. We pray that they would not only hear the Gospel but that they would respond in faith, surrendering their lives fully to You. For "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). We ask that You would soften their hearts to receive this truth and that they would experience the transformative power of Your love.

We also take a moment to address the importance of coming to God in the name of Jesus. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is His blood that was shed for our sins. We pray that these friends would come to know Him not just as a historical figure or a teacher, but as their personal Lord and Savior. May they experience the freedom that comes from being washed clean by His sacrifice and the hope that is found in His resurrection.

Heavenly Father, we trust You with the healing of their bodies and the healing of their souls. We ask that You would be glorified in their lives, that others would see Your hand at work and be drawn to You. Strengthen their faith, deepen their trust in You, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, our Healer, Redeemer, and Lord. Amen.

We've been praying that God would grant them swift and complete recovery, that every part of their bodies would function perfectly, and that they would feel God's healing touch in their lives. We're claiming Jeremiah 30:17, trusting that God will restore their health and heal their wounds.

We're also praying for their spiritual growth, that as their bodies heal, their hearts would draw closer to Jesus. We're asking God to open the eyes of the friend influenced by false teachings, that he may see the truth and be set free from deception. We're believing for a mighty move of God in their lives, that they would come to know Jesus personally and experience the abundant life He offers.

Let's continue to lift them up, asking God to surround them with godly support and fellowship. May they be encouraged by believers who will walk alongside them, pray for them, and speak God's truth into their lives. We're praying that they would respond in faith, surrendering their lives fully to Jesus.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We are so grateful you entrusted us with the privilege of lifting your friends before the Lord in prayer. It has been our joy to stand in agreement with you for their healing—both physically and spiritually—since you first shared this request.

We continue to pray for the friend who recently had surgery, asking the Great Physician to bring complete restoration, strength, and comfort as they recover. May each day bring renewed hope and evidence of God’s tender care. And for the friend who traveled for treatment, we give thanks that the surgery went well, and we ask the Lord to surround them with His peace as they heal. We also pray, as you did, that their heart would be opened to the truth of Scripture, that any confusion or false teachings would be replaced with the clarity of God’s Word, and that they would draw nearer to Christ with each passing day.
