We hear your heart and lift your concerns before the Lord, trusting in His provision and care. The worry and struggle you feel as you seek more freelance work is understandable, but we encourage you to place your trust fully in God, who promises to supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). The Lord is your provider, and He knows the desires of your heart.
We must also remind you that our security and identity are not found in our work or financial success, but in Christ alone. When we seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, all these things—including our daily needs—will be added to us (Matthew 6:33). Let this truth anchor your heart as you wait on the Lord.
Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister, asking that You open doors of opportunity for them in their freelance work. Provide them with steady, honorable, and fulfilling work that allows them to use their skills for Your glory. Remove any anxiety or fear, replacing it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7). Strengthen their faith as they wait on You, and help them to trust in Your perfect timing. We ask that You guide them in wisdom and discernment as they seek out opportunities, and that You bless the work of their hands. May they find contentment in You alone, knowing that You are their ultimate Provider. In Jesus’ holy and precious name we pray, Amen.
We also encourage you to reflect on Proverbs 3:5-6, which says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Surrender your plans, your worries, and your future to Him, and allow Him to direct your steps. Consider reaching out to fellow believers in your community who may have connections or opportunities to share. God often works through the body of Christ to meet our needs.
Lastly, we must address the mention of "###" in your request. While we understand this may have been unintentional, we want to gently remind you that our prayers and requests should be offered with reverence and clarity, honoring the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. It is only by His name that we are saved (Acts 4:12), and it is in His name that we pray. Let us always approach God with humility and gratitude, remembering that He is holy and worthy of our praise.
