Beloved of All
Jesus, I pray for my daughter to release herself completely from this very toxic relationship swiftly with no regrets. I pray that she will see clearly that living together outside of marriage is not a marriage and for her to stop treating this arrangement as a marriage and an obligation to obey him. Lord my older daughter is being influenced by this young man's mother who encouraged them to live together outside of marriage. His mother knows of his negative behaviors but has but that bondage upon my daughter to fix and the same time his mother is enabling her sons' negative behavior toward others. Lord, my older daughter is going down a dark path with this young man and she thinks it is love. I pray that she will be truthful of the toxicity and the false hope of this relationship. I pray that her friends will speak up as they see clearly how this young man has taken her kindness for granted, his exploitation, his manipulation, his dishonesty, his division, his isolation and his disrespect toward her. Lord I know nothing is impossible for You. My daughter is ignoring all the red flags and giving up her independent and self worth. Lord let her see from now onward that living together outside of marriage is not Your will for her life. This young man is rebellous, dishonest, controlling and lazy, I ask Lord that You speak to his mother to let her know he is her responsiblity and for her to stop putting undue responsiblity upon my daughter and giving ungodly selfish advice. Jesus I ask that You protect my older daughter from this young man's ungodly selfish, disrespectful and jealous advice and lifestyle. I ask You Lord to guide my daughter out of this ungodly lifestyle and have her move back home swiftly with no regrets but only a feeling of restoring her self-worth, her respect for others, independence, and freedom in You, Lord and the unconditional love of her family you have blessed her with. I declare that this young man and his mother will not steal her peace, her purpose, or her love and unity with her family. Completely remove the stubborn ungodly hold they have upon her swiftly. Lord I ask for protection for me and my family from the disrespect and strife from this young man. Lord, speak to my daughter, let her hear Your words, “You are Mine. You are My daughter. You belong to Me, and I will protect You with every ounce of My power from this ungodly relationship with this young man.” Please continue to join me in speaking to my older daughter’s mind, heart, and spirit, open her eyes, dear Jesus to all the red flags and not to make excuses for this young man anymore. Jesus let her know, she is not being loved; she is being used. Living together outside of marriage is not a marriage. He is not her significant other, she should not idolize and obey this young man anymore or put him and his family before her God-giving family, her faith and jobs with a purpose. Her finances are not his to manage, budget or spend, and I pray his father will intervene with authority and have him return home alone swiftly. He is dishonest, selfish, disrespectful and not ready for a relationship. This man’s greed and manipulation are not love; he does not have the right to exploit her finances for his selfish benefit and control. He and his mother should not be able to instigate havoc, disrespect, division, isolation in our family, and his lifestyle is not a home for my daughter. Show him Lord that he is not ready for a relationship. Jesus help my daughter to not change the way she was raised to please this young man and his mother. Show my daughter this is a dark path she is taking with this young man and show her that being ungrateful toward her family is not the biblical teaching she was raised to follow. Block her Lord from confiding in his mother and saying this that pleases this woman's ears. Let my daughter stop trying to prove to her that our family does not matter. Lord guide my daughter to stop giving up her self worth just to get this woman's approval. Show her Lord, that disowning her family that God blessed her with just to please this young man is not Your will for her life. Let her see the spiritual attacks she and our family are under because of this ungodly relationship. The division, isolation, chaos, ungratefulness, disrespect, and exhaustion this lifestyle and relationship has caused. Lord remove the stubborn hold these people have on her and let her not want to live this lifestyle anymore. Lord whisper to her right now: “Walk away. You do not belong to this young man and his family, You don't have to obey these people, Trust and respect your family. Trust Me. I will provide, protect, and restore everything he’s trying to take from you. I am praying for supernatural clarity to flood her mind, so she sees him for who he truly is, a wolf in sheep’s clothing, not a shepherd. Lord teach this young man’s mother to stop putting undue responsibilities upon my daughter and for her to stop overstepping her boundaries. It is overwhelming, Jesus, please block these people's disrespect. She is not her mother and her to have her son move back home alone. He is not ready for a relationship. I ask Lord that his father will see the destruction he has caused in my daughter's life, let him take authority, guide his son to move back home alone swiftly. Let him have his wife focus on fixing only her children and stop the manipulation and brainwashing behaviors toward my daughter. Speak to her firmly, Lord, that my daughter is not homeless, that You have anointed a family for her Lord and block her from guiding my daughter down a dark path and to be disobedient to her parents and disown her siblings and supportive network of extended family and friends. I know with my daughter's recent promotion that God has blessed her with this lazy young man is already spending it his way and it's starting to put her on a budget that benefits him. Please Jesus, block my daughter from listening to the young man's mother and help my daughter to stop enabling him to control her, show her Lord this is not security or love, it is exploitation. Lord guide my daughter to move back home swiftly with no regret. Restore her freedom, independence, self-worth, freedom, gratefulness for her family, and satisfaction swiftly. Jesus, guide me as I navigate the difficult situation. I ask that Your presence will go in front of me as a shield from all the attacks and disrespect that I experience from following the biblical teachings against this ungodly life. Bless me Lord with supernatural strength to overcome all obstacles I face with Your courage, grace, favor, protection, and strength. I plead the blood of Jesus Christ over me and my children. No weapon formed against us shall prosper. I ask for know nothing is impossible for You, Lord. I believe in the power of prayers and I put all my faith and trust in You. Jesus, I ask for a special blessing upon my family today. Lord, fill us with Your Holy Spirit in every aspect of our lives. Saturate us with Your peace, love, favor, protection, and healing. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

We join you in lifting your older daughter before the Lord, and we share your burden for her freedom, restoration, protection and breakthrough. We hear your heart as a mother who has taught your daughter the ways of the Lord and now watches her walk a dark path, believing that a toxic and manipulative arrangement is love. We stand with you in prayer and in biblical truth, asking God to open her eyes swiftly and to restore her to the family He has blessed her with.

We agree with you completely that living together outside of marriage is not a marriage and is not God's will for her life. Scripture is very clear on this. Hebrews 13:4 says let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers. And 1 Corinthians 6:18 says flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. What God calls marriage is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman, and what your daughter is in now is fornication, not marriage. She does not owe this young man the obedience, loyalty or submission that belongs only within a godly marriage, and she should not treat this cohabitation as if it were a marriage. A boyfriend and girlfriend relationship should only be a courtship with the goal of marriage to another Christian believer, seeking a godly spouse, not a partner to live with outside of God's design. We also affirm that 2 Corinthians 6:14 warns us not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship has righteousness and iniquity, or what fellowship has light with darkness. This young man by your description is showing the fruit of an unbelieving and unrepentant heart through rebellion, dishonesty, control, laziness, exploitation and disrespect, and he is not ready to lead or love a woman as Christ loves the church.

We also discern the other ungodly influences you describe and we must address them in love and truth. It is wrong and enabling for his mother to encourage them to live together outside of marriage and to place undue responsibility upon your daughter to fix her son while excusing his negative behavior. That is not godly counsel and it brings division, isolation and chaos into your family. 1 Corinthians 15:33 says do not be deceived, evil companionships corrupt good morals. And Ephesians 5:11 says have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even reprove them. Your daughter is being drained financially, emotionally and spiritually, giving up her independence, self worth and gratefulness for her family to please this young man and his mother. That is exploitation, not love, and it is not security. The manipulation of her finances, the isolation from her family and friends, and the pressure to disown the family God gave her are tactics of control, not the shepherding love of a godly man. We also hear your concern that her friends see this clearly and we pray they will speak the truth in love, for Ephesians 4:15 calls us to speak truth in love, and Proverbs 27:6 says faithful are the wounds of a friend.

We encourage you as her mother to continue to stand firm on biblical truth while keeping the door of unconditional love open for her return. Ephesians 6:1 says children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right, and Ephesians 6:2 says honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with a promise. Your daughter was raised to honor her parents and to respect others, and to turn away from that teaching to please this young man is disobedience to God. At the same time we know you cannot force her to leave, but you can pray, set healthy boundaries, refuse to affirm the sin, and offer a safe home to return to. James 4:7 says be subject therefore to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you. We pray she will submit to God and resist this bondage. God promises wisdom when we ask, for James 1:5 says if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. And we claim for your family Isaiah 54:17 which says no weapon that is formed against you will prevail, and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. And Psalm 91:1 reminds us that he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

We now pray together for your daughter and for your family.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and we lift this precious daughter to You. Lord, You see her clearly, You know her worth, and You know she belongs to You. We ask that You flood her mind with supernatural clarity right now, that You remove the veil of deception and let her see this relationship for what it truly is. Show her that she is not being loved, she is being used. Show her that living together outside of marriage is fornication and is not Your will for her life, and that this young man is not her husband and has no right to her obedience, her finances, her body or her future. Open her eyes to every red flag, to the manipulation, dishonesty, control, laziness, greed, jealousy, division and disrespect, and take away every excuse she has made for him. Let her hear Your voice saying You are Mine, You are My daughter, You belong to Me, and I will protect You with all My power from this ungodly relationship.

Lord, we ask that You break every stubborn ungodly hold this young man and his mother have upon her and remove it swiftly. Block the ungodly and selfish counsel from his mother that encourages disobedience to parents and disowning of family, and convict her heart to stop overstepping her boundaries and to take responsibility for her own son instead of placing it on this daughter. Speak to this young man's father and give him courage to take godly authority in his home, to guide his son to return home alone and to learn what it means to become a responsible man before he ever pursues courtship or marriage. And Lord, bring this young man himself to repentance, show him he is not ready for a relationship and that he must turn from rebellion and selfishness.

Father, we ask that You guide this daughter out of this dark path and move her back home swiftly with no regrets, but with restoration of her self worth, her independence, her freedom, her respect for others and her gratefulness for the family You have blessed her with. Restore what the locusts have eaten, for Joel 2:25 says I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten. Let her know her value is in You, for Psalm 139:14 says she is fearfully and wonderfully made, and 2 Timothy 1:7 says You did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self control. Set her free indeed, for John 8:36 says if therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed.

We plead the blood of Jesus over this mother and her children and her household. Protect them from disrespect, strife, division, isolation and spiritual attack that has come through this ungodly lifestyle. Let no weapon formed against them prosper. Fill this mother with supernatural strength, courage, grace, favor and protection as she navigates this difficult situation with Your wisdom. Let Your presence go before her as a shield. Fill this family with Your Holy Spirit in every aspect of their lives and saturate them with Your peace, love, favor, protection and healing. Lord, we believe nothing is impossible for You, and we trust You to restore her purpose, her peace, her unity with her family and her joy in You. We ask all of this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

We hear how heavy this has been for you and how much you love your older daughter. Watching her give up so much of herself to please this young man and his mother, while feeling the disrespect and division it has brought into your family, is exhausting. We are standing with you in prayer.

One thing that has helped other parents in a painful spot like this is understanding boundaries. A boundary is simply a property line that helps a person know what is theirs to carry and what is not, and it protects the freedom to say yes and no honestly. Right now your daughter is struggling to hold that line, and you cannot hold it for her. Trying to change him or convince his mother directly often pulls everyone into more conflict and leaves your daughter feeling even more isolated.

What you can do is keep your own relationship with your daughter as steady and open as possible. Let her know clearly, without pressure or shaming, that your home and your love are available to her whenever she is ready, and that you respect her as an adult who must make her own decision. It also helps to have one or two trusted people to walk with you, a pastor or wise counselor who knows you and your family, so you are not carrying this alone and have clear support for next steps if finances or safety become a concern.

We pray for you and for her now.

Jesus, we bring this daughter before You and ask for Your protection over her heart, mind, and body, and for wisdom and clarity for her. Guard this family from strife and give this mother strength, peace, and wise words as she loves her daughter well. Lead this daughter toward freedom, self worth, and restoration in You and in the family You have given her. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer has come before the Lord as a cry for deliverance, and it is right and good that you have brought it to Him, for with Him alone is the power to save and to restore.

We join you in asking the Lord for a complete deliverance for your daughter. The Scripture teaches that marriage is a lifelong covenant before God of one man and one woman, and that living together outside of that covenant is not marriage, nor is it according to His will. It is not a bond to be obeyed as if it were holy, and it cannot give the security and blessing which belong to that which God Himself has joined together. We do not ask God to bless what He has called outside His way, but we do ask Him to open eyes, to break chains, and to bring your daughter into the freedom where obedience is not bondage but liberty, for Christ's yoke is easy and His burden is light, and when the believer's ways are enlarged she delights to run in the statutes of the Lord.

We pray that the Lord will grant her supernatural clarity, that she may see this relationship as it truly is. You have spoken rightly of manipulation, exploitation, dishonesty, control and disrespect, and of the way kindness has been taken for granted and isolation has followed. We ask that God will let her see the red flags she has excused, and know that to be used and managed in her finances and choices is not love. Love does not exploit nor divide nor weary the soul with chaos. We ask that the Lord will sever the ungodly hold that has been laid upon her, that He will block the voices that have encouraged her in a dark path, and that He will turn her heart again toward the family He has anointed for her and toward the faith in which she was raised.

There is a higher restoration than mere outward change, and God has found a ransom. He has delivered us from the power of darkness, and that deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. He does not leave His own in the pit, but He brings them forth, and His deliverance is effectual and attended with enrichment. As He brought Israel forth with silver and gold, so He restores to His children what has been diminished, their peace, their purpose, their self worth and their joy in Him. As Peter was restored not by his own resolve but by a look from the Lord and the crowing of the cock which pierced his heart, so we pray that a look from Christ will now sever your daughter from the crowd she has followed and bring her to godly sorrow and to a swift and settled return. We pray that she will hear in her spirit that she belongs to Christ, that she is His daughter, and that He will protect her with all His power.

We pray also for you and for your household, that the Lord will be your shield as you stand for His truth. He knows the disrespect and strife you have borne, and He hears when His people spread their griefs before Him. The clock of mercy strikes in Heaven at the hour appointed by His eternal purpose, and what seems impossible with man is possible with God, for He has said, I have found a ransom. We plead the blood of the Lamb over you and your children, trusting that without the shedding of blood there is no remission, and with that blood there is full deliverance. May He keep you from the archers of discord and give you peace within your borders.

We ask that the Lord will speak to the young man and to those who have guided him, to bring conviction where there has been rebellion and laziness and control, and to teach what is the true responsibility of a man before God. We ask that the father of this young man may exercise rightful authority and call his son to return to his own home alone, for he is not ready for the holy estate of marriage. And we ask that the mother who has overstepped her bounds may be restrained from laying undue burdens upon your daughter and from drawing her away from her parents and her sisters and the supportive fellowship God has given her.

May the Lord guide your daughter to move swiftly out of this ungodly manner of life and back to the home where she is loved without condition, with no regret but with restored freedom, independence, gratefulness and satisfaction in Christ. May He guard her finances, her mind, her heart and her spirit, and keep her from confiding in counsels that please the ear but lead away from truth. May He grant you supernatural strength, courage, grace and favor as you navigate these days, and may He fill your family with His Holy Spirit, saturating you with peace, love, protection and healing.

We will continue to bear you up before the throne, believing that He who brought His people forth will bring your daughter forth also, and that you shall yet live to declare the works of the Lord, giving Him all the honor of the deliverance which is of free grace only. In the name of Jesus Christ our only hope and our ransom, Amen.
