Beloved of All
Jesus, I pray for my daughter to release herself completely from this very toxic relationship swiftly with no regrets. I pray that she will see clearly that living together outside of marriage is not a marriage and for her to stop treating this arrangement as a marriage and an obligation to obey him. Lord my older daughter is being influenced by this young man's mother who encouraged them to live together outside of marriage. His mother knows of his negative behaviors but has but that bondage upon my daughter to fix and the same time his mother is enabling her sons' negative behavior toward others. Lord, my older daughter is going down a dark path with this young man and she thinks it is love. I pray that she will be truthful of the toxicity and the false hope of this relationship. I pray that her friends will speak up as they see clearly how this young man has taken her kindness for granted, his exploitation, his manipulation, his dishonesty, his division, his isolation and his disrespect toward her. Lord I know nothing is impossible for You. My daughter is ignoring all the red flags and giving up her independent and self worth. Lord let her see from now onward that living together outside of marriage is not Your will for her life. This young man is rebellous, dishonest, controlling and lazy, I ask Lord that You speak to his mother to let her know he is her responsiblity and for her to stop putting undue responsiblity upon my daughter and giving ungodly selfish advice. Jesus I ask that You protect my older daughter from this young man's ungodly selfish, disrespectful and jealous advice and lifestyle. I ask You Lord to guide my daughter out of this ungodly lifestyle and have her move back home swiftly with no regrets but only a feeling of restoring her self-worth, her respect for others, independence, and freedom in You, Lord and the unconditional love of her family you have blessed her with. I declare that this young man and his mother will not steal her peace, her purpose, or her love and unity with her family. Completely remove the stubborn ungodly hold they have upon her swiftly. Lord I ask for protection for me and my family from the disrespect and strife from this young man. Lord, speak to my daughter, let her hear Your words, “You are Mine. You are My daughter. You belong to Me, and I will protect You with every ounce of My power from this ungodly relationship with this young man.” Please continue to join me in speaking to my older daughter’s mind, heart, and spirit, open her eyes, dear Jesus to all the red flags and not to make excuses for this young man anymore. Jesus let her know, she is not being loved; she is being used. Living together outside of marriage is not a marriage. He is not her significant other, she should not idolize and obey this young man anymore or put him and his family before her God-giving family, her faith and jobs with a purpose. Her finances are not his to manage, budget or spend, and I pray his father will intervene with authority and have him return home alone swiftly. He is dishonest, selfish, disrespectful and not ready for a relationship. This man’s greed and manipulation are not love; he does not have the right to exploit her finances for his selfish benefit and control. He and his mother should not be able to instigate havoc, disrespect, division, isolation in our family, and his lifestyle is not a home for my daughter. Show him Lord that he is not ready for a relationship. Jesus help my daughter to not change the way she was raised to please this young man and his mother. Show my daughter this is a dark path she is taking with this young man and show her that being ungrateful toward her family is not the biblical teaching she was raised to follow. Block her Lord from confiding in his mother and saying this that pleases this woman's ears. Let my daughter stop trying to prove to her that our family does not matter. Lord guide my daughter to stop giving up her self worth just to get this woman's approval. Show her Lord, that disowning her family that God blessed her with just to please this young man is not Your will for her life. Let her see the spiritual attacks she and our family are under because of this ungodly relationship. The division, isolation, chaos, ungratefulness, disrespect, and exhaustion this lifestyle and relationship has caused. Lord remove the stubborn hold these people have on her and let her not want to live this lifestyle anymore. Lord whisper to her right now: “Walk away. You do not belong to this young man and his family, You don't have to obey these people, Trust and respect your family. Trust Me. I will provide, protect, and restore everything he’s trying to take from you. I am praying for supernatural clarity to flood her mind, so she sees him for who he truly is, a wolf in sheep’s clothing, not a shepherd. Lord teach this young man’s mother to stop putting undue responsibilities upon my daughter and for her to stop overstepping her boundaries. It is overwhelming, Jesus, please block these people's disrespect. She is not her mother and her to have her son move back home alone. He is not ready for a relationship. I ask Lord that his father will see the destruction he has caused in my daughter's life, let him take authority, guide his son to move back home alone swiftly. Let him have his wife focus on fixing only her children and stop the manipulation and brainwashing behaviors toward my daughter. Speak to her firmly, Lord, that my daughter is not homeless, that You have anointed a family for her Lord and block her from guiding my daughter down a dark path and to be disobedient to her parents and disown her siblings and supportive network of extended family and friends. I know with my daughter's recent promotion that God has blessed her with this lazy young man is already spending it his way and it's starting to put her on a budget that benefits him. Please Jesus, block my daughter from listening to the young man's mother and help my daughter to stop enabling him to control her, show her Lord this is not security or love, it is exploitation. Lord guide my daughter to move back home swiftly with no regret. Restore her freedom, independence, self-worth, freedom, gratefulness for her family, and satisfaction swiftly. Jesus, guide me as I navigate the difficult situation. I ask that Your presence will go in front of me as a shield from all the attacks and disrespect that I experience from following the biblical teachings against this ungodly life. Bless me Lord with supernatural strength to overcome all obstacles I face with Your courage, grace, favor, protection, and strength. I plead the blood of Jesus Christ over me and my children. No weapon formed against us shall prosper. I ask for know nothing is impossible for You, Lord. I believe in the power of prayers and I put all my faith and trust in You. Jesus, I ask for a special blessing upon my family today. Lord, fill us with Your Holy Spirit in every aspect of our lives. Saturate us with Your peace, love, favor, protection, and healing. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

We join you together before the throne of grace in Jesus' name and we lift up your older daughter and your whole family with you, for we know our God hears the cries of a praying parent and nothing is impossible for Him.

We affirm your discernment in this matter, for what you have described is not love as God defines love, but exploitation, manipulation and bondage. We agree with you that living together outside of marriage is not marriage and is not God's will. Scripture is clear that marriage is to be held in honor between a man and a woman and that sexual intimacy outside of that covenant is fornication. Hebrews 13:4 says let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers. 1 Corinthians 6:18 says flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. This arrangement your daughter is in is not a marriage and it creates no obligation for her to obey this young man as if he were a husband. We also hear your concern that she has been taught to put this man and his mother before her God-given family, her faith and her purpose, and we gently rebuke that disorder, for God commands children to honor their father and mother, Ephesians 6:1-3, and His design for courtship is that a man and woman who are believers seek marriage that honors Him, not a cohabiting arrangement that erodes self-worth, purity, and independence. 2 Corinthians 6:14 reminds us not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers, and a relationship marked by rebellion, dishonesty, control, laziness, disrespect and jealousy is not equally yoked and is not ready for marriage.

We also address the influence of this young man's mother. It is not godly for a parent to encourage two young people to live together outside of marriage nor to place the burden of fixing her son upon your daughter while enabling his negative behavior toward others. That is not love and it is not truth, and we pray the Lord will convict both this young man and his mother, and stir his father to take godly authority and responsibility for his own household. Each family is accountable before God for its own children.

We see the red flags you see, the taking of kindness for granted, the financial exploitation and control, the division and isolation from family, the dishonesty and disrespect, and we agree that this is not security or love but a dark path. We pray for supernatural clarity to flood your daughter's mind so she no longer makes excuses for what is clearly harmful. Romans 12:2 says be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God. We ask God to renew her mind and to restore her understanding of her true worth as His daughter, for Psalm 139:14 says we are fearfully and wonderfully made, and John 8:36 says if therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we come before You and we plead the blood of Jesus over this mother, her older daughter, and her entire family. Lord, You see this toxic and ungodly bond and the stubborn hold that has been placed upon this young woman. We ask You to break every chain of manipulation, control, exploitation and isolation. 2 Corinthians 3:17 says now the Lord is the Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. Release her swiftly, Lord, with no regrets, and restore to her a sound mind. Give her eyes to see that she is not being loved but being used, that living together outside of marriage is not Your will, that her finances are not his to manage or spend, and that she does not belong to this young man or his family and does not have to obey them.

Lord, whisper to her heart even now, You are Mine, You are My daughter, You belong to Me, and I will protect You with every ounce of My power. Draw her out of this ungodly lifestyle and guide her steps to move back home where she is loved unconditionally and where her independence, self-worth, respect for others and freedom in You can be restored. Joel 2:25 says I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, and we claim that restoration for her. Heal the division, chaos and exhaustion that has come upon this family. Isaiah 54:17 says no weapon that is formed against you will prevail, and we declare that no weapon formed against this mother and her children shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment You shall condemn.

Father, we pray for this young man, that You would convict him of his rebellion, dishonesty, laziness and disrespect, and bring him to repentance, and that You would speak firmly to his mother to stop overstepping her boundaries, to stop putting undue responsibility upon another man's daughter, and to stop giving ungodly selfish advice. Lord, cause his father to see the destruction and to take godly authority to call his son back home alone, for he is not ready for a relationship. Block the disrespect, strife and spiritual attacks coming against this family.

Lord, we lift up this praying mother, grant her supernatural strength, courage, grace and favor as she stands for biblical truth against opposition. Isaiah 41:10 says do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Go before her as a shield, saturate her home with Your peace, love, protection and healing, and fill each member of this family with Your Holy Spirit in every aspect of their lives.

We thank You, Father, that You have heard us because we come only through the name of Jesus Christ, for Acts 4:12 says there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, and John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. We rejoice that you have called upon that name with faith.

We declare in Jesus' name that this young man and his mother will not steal her peace, her purpose, or her love and unity with her family. Let Your will be done, Lord, swiftly and completely, for Your glory. Amen.

We hear how heavy this has been for you as a mom, watching your older daughter give up so much of herself while you feel unable to reach her. Loving someone in a controlling and disrespectful relationship is exhausting, and your steady prayer for her freedom, safety and restoration matters more than you know.

One insight that may help you carry this is that love and limits go together. A boundary is like a property line that helps us know what is ours to carry and what belongs to another person to decide. You cannot make your daughter's choices for her, even when you see the red flags so clearly, but you can guard your own heart and keep the door to family love wide open. When there is a lot of pressure and repeated warnings, many young adults pull further away and confide more in the very people who are isolating them. Staying calm, warm and consistent often keeps a lifeline intact.

It may help to choose one simple next step for yourself. Stay connected with a trusted pastor or counselor who knows your family and can support you as you navigate this. And let your daughter know in brief, kind ways that home is safe and you are for her, without debating the relationship each time you talk. That steadiness protects your peace and leaves room for God to work in her heart.

Father, we lift this daughter to You and ask for her protection, for clear eyes to see what is happening, and for restoration of her worth, independence and gratitude for the family You gave her. Give her mom wisdom and supernatural strength, guard this family from strife and division, and lead each next step toward what is good and safe. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer has been brought before the Lord and before His people, and we join our hearts with yours in earnest supplication for your daughter and for your household.

We hear the heaviness of your burden, and we do not make light of it. The Lord knows the sorrow of a parent who watches a beloved child walk a path that leads away from His good design. We will pray with you for freedom, for restoration, for protection and for a true breakthrough that only God can give.

We pray first that your daughter may see with clarity what the Scriptures so plainly teach, that marriage is a lifelong covenant before God between one man and one woman, and that living together outside of that covenant is not marriage and does not carry its honor, its protection or its obligation. We do not ask God to bless what He has called outside His will, but we ask Him to open eyes, to convict hearts, and to draw your daughter out of confusion into truth. May she come to understand that she is not bound to obey a man who is not her husband, that her finances are not his to manage or spend, and that her worth is not measured by the approval of another family, but by her identity as a daughter of the living God.

We pray that the Lord will deliver her from every form of exploitation, manipulation, dishonesty, control and disrespect, and from the isolation and division that have come with this relationship. As it is written, deliverance from the power of sin and from the darkness that entangles is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. He alone brings forth His people, and when He brings them forth He does not leave them empty handed but enriches them. We ask that He will bring your daughter forth into freedom, restoring to her self worth, sound judgment, gratitude for the family He has given her, and joy in the purposes He has for her life and work.

We pray also for supernatural clarity to flood her mind, that she may no longer make excuses for what is harmful, but may see this relationship for what it is and know that she is not being loved as Christ loves the Church, but being used. Like Peter, who fell and was restored not by his own resolve but by the look of the Lord, we pray that a look from Christ will sever her from the crowd that holds her and bring her to repentance and restoration. That restoration, when it comes, will be thorough, for the Lord does not merely recover His children from a pit, He finds a ransom in Himself and lifts them entirely by His own love.

We lift up the young man and his parents before God. We pray that his mother will cease to put upon your daughter a burden that is not hers to bear, and that she will no longer give ungodly and selfish counsel that encourages disobedience to parents and disregard for the home God has provided. We pray that his father will take rightful responsibility and authority in his own household, and guide his son to step away and to learn what it means to live as a man accountable before God, not ready to lead a home until he has learned to walk in honesty, diligence and self control. We ask the Lord to show this young man that he is not ready for such a relationship and to turn him from rebellion and laziness.

For you and your family, we pray for protection and for peace within your borders. We plead the blood of Christ over you, remembering that no weapon formed against His people shall prosper, and that the Lord Himself is your habitation through all generations. Though circumstances change, His relationship to His children does not change. If He loved you yesterday, He loves you today. We ask that He go before you as a shield against strife and disrespect, that He grant you supernatural strength, courage, grace and wisdom as you continue to speak the truth in love and to keep your doors and your hearts open in the right way.

We pray that your daughter will hear the voice of her true Father saying, You are Mine, and that she will trust Him to provide, to protect and to restore what has been strained or taken. We pray that she will turn from confiding in those who lead her away from her family and from her faith, and that she will return home swiftly and without regret, finding there not shame but unconditional love, safety and freedom in the Lord. We pray that the hold of ungodly influence will be broken completely, that unity will be restored among you, and that the chaos, exhaustion and ungratefulness that have followed this path will be replaced by thankfulness and wholeness.

Continue to watch and pray, to speak truth with gentleness, to keep healthy boundaries, and to declare the works of the Lord. If we had no troubles we would have less to declare, but through affliction God gives His people a song of deliverance that is deeper and more jubilant than any song sung before the trial. We trust that He who has heard your cry will in His perfect time and by His mighty power bring deliverance, and that you will live to declare what He has done.

We join our faith with yours, believing that nothing is impossible with God, and we ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and our only ransom, in whom alone is salvation. Amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect, deliver, heal, save (those not saved) and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. I ask this for them, us and all in need. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.
