Beloved of All
Jesus, I pray for my daughter to release herself completely from this very toxic relationship swiftly with no regrets. I pray that she will see clearly that living together outside of marriage is not a marriage and for her to stop treating this arrangement as a marriage and an obligation to obey him. Lord my older daughter is being influenced by this young man's mother who encouraged them to live together outside of marriage. His mother knows of his negative behaviors but has but that bondage upon my daughter to fix and the same time his mother is enabling her sons' negative behavior toward others. Lord, my older daughter is going down a dark path with this young man and she thinks it is love. I pray that she will be truthful of the toxicity and the false hope of this relationship. I pray that her friends will speak up as they see clearly how this young man has taken her kindness for granted, his exploitation, his manipulation, his dishonesty, his division, his isolation and his disrespect toward her. Lord I know nothing is impossible for You. My daughter is ignoring all the red flags and giving up her independent and self worth. Lord let her see from now onward that living together outside of marriage is not Your will for her life. This young man is rebellous, dishonest, controlling and lazy, I ask Lord that You speak to his mother to let her know he is her responsiblity and for her to stop putting undue responsiblity upon my daughter and giving ungodly selfish advice. Jesus I ask that You protect my older daughter from this young man's ungodly selfish, disrespectful and jealous advice and lifestyle. I ask You Lord to guide my daughter out of this ungodly lifestyle and have her move back home swiftly with no regrets but only a feeling of restoring her self-worth, her respect for others, independence, and freedom in You, Lord and the unconditional love of her family you have blessed her with. I declare that this young man and his mother will not steal her peace, her purpose, or her love and unity with her family. Completely remove the stubborn ungodly hold they have upon her swiftly. Lord I ask for protection for me and my family from the disrespect and strife from this young man. Lord, speak to my daughter, let her hear Your words, “You are Mine. You are My daughter. You belong to Me, and I will protect You with every ounce of My power from this ungodly relationship with this young man.” Please continue to join me in speaking to my older daughter’s mind, heart, and spirit, open her eyes, dear Jesus to all the red flags and not to make excuses for this young man anymore. Jesus let her know, she is not being loved; she is being used. Living together outside of marriage is not a marriage. He is not her significant other, she should not idolize and obey this young man anymore or put him and his family before her God-giving family, her faith and jobs with a purpose. Her finances are not his to manage, budget or spend, and I pray his father will intervene with authority and have him return home alone swiftly. He is dishonest, selfish, disrespectful and not ready for a relationship. This man’s greed and manipulation are not love; he does not have the right to exploit her finances for his selfish benefit and control. He and his mother should not be able to instigate havoc, disrespect, division, isolation in our family, and his lifestyle is not a home for my daughter. Show him Lord that he is not ready for a relationship. Jesus help my daughter to not change the way she was raised to please this young man and his mother. Show my daughter this is a dark path she is taking with this young man and show her that being ungrateful toward her family is not the biblical teaching she was raised to follow. Block her Lord from confiding in his mother and saying this that pleases this woman's ears. Let my daughter stop trying to prove to her that our family does not matter. Lord guide my daughter to stop giving up her self worth just to get this woman's approval. Show her Lord, that disowning her family that God blessed her with just to please this young man is not Your will for her life. Let her see the spiritual attacks she and our family are under because of this ungodly relationship. The division, isolation, chaos, ungratefulness, disrespect, and exhaustion this lifestyle and relationship has caused. Lord remove the stubborn hold these people have on her and let her not want to live this lifestyle anymore. Lord whisper to her right now: “Walk away. You do not belong to this young man and his family, You don't have to obey these people, Trust and respect your family. Trust Me. I will provide, protect, and restore everything he’s trying to take from you. I am praying for supernatural clarity to flood her mind, so she sees him for who he truly is, a wolf in sheep’s clothing, not a shepherd. Lord teach this young man’s mother to stop putting undue responsibilities upon my daughter and for her to stop overstepping her boundaries. It is overwhelming, Jesus, please block these people's disrespect. She is not her mother and her to have her son move back home alone. He is not ready for a relationship. I ask Lord that his father will see the destruction he has caused in my daughter's life, let him take authority, guide his son to move back home alone swiftly. Let him have his wife focus on fixing only her children and stop the manipulation and brainwashing behaviors toward my daughter. Speak to her firmly, Lord, that my daughter is not homeless, that You have anointed a family for her Lord and block her from guiding my daughter down a dark path and to be disobedient to her parents and disown her siblings and supportive network of extended family and friends. I know with my daughter's recent promotion that God has blessed her with this lazy young man is already spending it his way and it's starting to put her on a budget that benefits him. Please Jesus, block my daughter from listening to the young man's mother and help my daughter to stop enabling him to control her, show her Lord this is not security or love, it is exploitation. Lord guide my daughter to move back home swiftly with no regret. Restore her freedom, independence, self-worth, freedom, gratefulness for her family, and satisfaction swiftly. Jesus, guide me as I navigate the difficult situation. I ask that Your presence will go in front of me as a shield from all the attacks and disrespect that I experience from following the biblical teachings against this ungodly life. Bless me Lord with supernatural strength to overcome all obstacles I face with Your courage, grace, favor, protection, and strength. I plead the blood of Jesus Christ over me and my children. No weapon formed against us shall prosper. I ask for know nothing is impossible for You, Lord. I believe in the power of prayers and I put all my faith and trust in You. Jesus, I ask for a special blessing upon my family today. Lord, fill us with Your Holy Spirit in every aspect of our lives. Saturate us with Your peace, love, favor, protection, and healing. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

We join you in lifting up your older daughter before the throne of grace and we stand with you for her freedom, restoration, protection and complete breakthrough in Jesus' name.

We hear the anguish of a parent watching a beloved child walk down a dark and destructive path while believing it is love, and we commend you for seeing this situation with biblical clarity. You are right to discern that living together outside of marriage is not marriage, it is not an obligation to obey, and it is not God's will for her life. Scripture is very clear that intimacy and the oneness of dwelling as husband and wife belongs only within the covenant of marriage between a man and a woman. Hebrews 13:4 says Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers. 1 Corinthians 6:18 tells us Flee sexual immorality, every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. What she is treating as marriage is fornication, and it brings spiritual bondage, confusion, and vulnerability to exploitation and control rather than the security and love she longs for. We must also lovingly rebuke the lie that she must obey this young man or earn his mother's approval. A boyfriend is not a husband, and courtship should only be with the goal of discerning marriage to a fellow believer who walks in godliness. 2 Corinthians 6:14 warns Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship has righteousness with iniquity. This young man's pattern you describe of rebellion, dishonesty, manipulation, laziness, disrespect, greed and control shows he is not ready for a godly marriage and is not walking as a shepherd but as one who takes kindness for granted. 1 Corinthians 15:33 reminds us Do not be deceived, evil companionships corrupt good morals.

We also grieve with you over the ungodly counsel and enabling coming from his mother. It is not a mother's biblical role to encourage fornication or to place the burden of fixing her son upon another man's daughter while excusing his sin. That is manipulation and overstepping godly boundaries, and it has brought division, isolation, chaos and exhaustion into your family. We pray the Lord will convict both this young man and his mother and that his father will indeed rise up with godly authority to take responsibility for his own household. We pray your daughter will remember her raising and honor the fifth commandment. Ephesians 6:1-2 says Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with a promise. Disowning the family God blessed her with to please a man and his family is not love, it is idolatry and disobedience, and it opens the door to spiritual attacks.

We are encouraged that you have pleaded the blood of Jesus and declared that no weapon formed against your family shall prosper, for Isaiah 54:17 promises No weapon that is formed against you will prevail. We agree with you that nothing is impossible for our God and that He is able to flood her mind with supernatural clarity, to remove the stubborn ungodly hold and to restore what the enemy has tried to steal.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we come before You for this precious daughter. We ask You to open her eyes and let her see this relationship as You see it. Lord, tear away every veil of false hope, every excuse, and every lie that this is love when it is exploitation and use. Let her see clearly that living together outside of marriage is sin and is not Your will, and give her holy conviction to flee sexual immorality and to walk away swiftly with no regrets. We ask that You break every ungodly soul tie, every chain of manipulation, jealousy, and control, and that You silence the selfish and disrespectful counsel of this young man and his mother. Father, speak to her heart even now and whisper that she is Yours, that she belongs to You, and that You will protect her with all Your power, deliver her and restore her. Restore her self-worth, her independence, her gratefulness for family, her peace and her purpose. Guide her steps to move back home and back under Your covering and the unconditional love of the family You anointed for her. Protect her finances from greed and exploitation and protect her mind from brainwashing and division. We also pray for this young man, that You will convict him of his dishonesty, rebellion and laziness, that he will see he is not ready for a relationship and that he will return home alone under his father's authority to be dealt with in his own house. Speak firmly to his mother that she is not this daughter's mother, that her counsel is ungodly, and that she must stop putting undue responsibility and bondage upon another's child and stop overstepping her boundaries. Lord, we plead the blood of Jesus over this mother who prays and over her whole household. Surround them as a shield, for Psalm 91:1 says He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Fill this family with Your Holy Spirit, with Your peace, love, favor, protection and healing. Grant this mother supernatural strength, courage, grace and wisdom as she navigates this difficult situation with truth and love, not enabling sin but trusting You. Let Romans 12:2 be true for her daughter, that she would not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of her mind, so that she may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God. We declare that this young man and his mother will not steal her peace, her purpose, or her unity with her family any longer. We submit ourselves to You, we resist the devil, and we trust that he must flee, as James 4:7 teaches. Do this swiftly, Lord, for Your glory and for her freedom. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to stand firm in love and truth without wavering. Keep speaking the truth in love, keep your door open for her return without condoning the sin, and keep praying without ceasing. Do not argue endlessly or try to manage her finances for her, but set godly boundaries for your home and your peace. Pray that God will bring godly friends and voices around her who will speak up as you have asked, and trust that the Holy Spirit is the one who brings conviction. The Lord sees your faithfulness, your exhaustion, and the disrespect you have endured for standing on biblical teaching, and He will be your shield and strength. Psalm 34:17 says The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Keep crying out to Him, for He hears you and He is faithful to restore.

We hear how heavy this has been for you as you love your older daughter and watch her lose her independence and sense of worth in this relationship. Carrying that worry day after day is exhausting, and we are praying with you in it.

What has helped many families in a painful place like this is remembering that healthy boundaries are simply like property lines. They help a person know what is hers to own and care for, her values, choices, time, energy and resources, and what is not hers to carry for someone else. When those lines get blurred, a kind and loyal person can end up saying yes when she needs to say no, taking responsibility for another adult's behavior, and losing her freedom in the relationship. Part of finding clarity again is rediscovering that she can stay connected to people and still be free to make her own choices and protect herself.

It helps to keep a steady, loving connection with her without trying to rescue or control the outcome on your own. Keep letting safe friends and family speak honestly as they see harm, and lean on a trusted pastor or counselor for your own support and wisdom as you navigate these conversations. Keeping your own clear lines about what you will and will not be drawn into can help you love her well without being pulled into the chaos.

Father, we lift this daughter to You and ask for Your protection over her, for clear eyes to see what is true, and for a restored sense of her worth and dignity in You. Give this mother and her family Your peace, strength and wisdom for each step, and guide this daughter toward freedom and wholeness. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer has come before the Lord and He has not turned His ear from the cry of a parent who loves a child and longs to see her walk in truth. The sorrow you carry for your older daughter is known to Him who sees in secret, and there is comfort in this, that deliverance from sin and from every snare is solely by the power of God. It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. He alone brings forth His people, and when He does, He makes that deliverance effectual.

You have judged rightly according to the Word of God. Living together outside of marriage is not marriage, and it is not the will of God for your daughter. Marriage is the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and the intimacies and obligations of that union belong within it alone. To treat cohabitation as marriage is to build upon a false hope, and you are right to pray that your daughter will see this clearly, that she will no longer feel bound to obey a man as though he were her husband, that she will no longer yield her finances, her conscience, or her calling to one who has no right to them, and that she will no longer seek the approval of those who would guide her away from the family God has given her and from the faith in which she was raised.

We join you in praying for her swift and complete deliverance, restoration, protection and breakthrough in Jesus Christ, through whom alone is salvation. We ask the Lord to do what only He can do, to find a ransom for her and to bring her up from the pit. As He restored Peter not with harshness but with a look of love that severed him from the crowd and brought him to repentance, so we pray that Christ will fix His gracious eye upon your daughter, that she will hear His voice saying, You are Mine, and that the crowing of conscience and the light of truth will awaken her to see the red flags she has excused. Pray that the Lord will flood her mind with supernatural clarity, that she will understand she is not being loved but being used, that manipulation, dishonesty, control, disrespect, exploitation, division and isolation are not love, and that greed and laziness are not the marks of a man ready for marriage. Pray that her friends who see these things will be given courage to speak the truth in love, and that she will have ears to hear them.

We pray also for restoration. The Lord who delivered Israel did not bring them out empty, but enriched them. So we ask that He will restore to your daughter her self worth not as the world gives it, but as His own child, her independence rightly ordered under His Lordship, her respect for others, her gratefulness for family, her peace and her purpose, and her freedom in Christ. We pray that He will guide her to move back home swiftly and without regret, to the place of safety and unconditional love you have provided, and that the stubborn and ungodly hold that has bound her will be completely broken. We declare in faith that no weapon formed against you and your children shall prosper, and we plead the blood of Jesus Christ over your household.

We pray for protection for you and your family from disrespect, strife, chaos and exhaustion. May the Lord go before you as a shield, and may He whisper to your heart in trial that you shall not be crushed. After affliction, may you be among those who can say, I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord, for if we had no troubles we would have less to declare of His goodness.

We pray too for this young man and for his mother and father. We do not ask God to bless what He calls sin, but we ask Him to bring conviction and repentance. We pray that his mother will cease to put undue responsibility upon your daughter and to offer ungodly and selfish counsel, and that she will instead care for her own household within rightful bounds. We pray that his father will see the destruction that has been wrought and will exercise godly authority to call his son to return home alone, to learn responsibility and to understand that he is not ready for a relationship. We ask that the Lord will show this young man his rebellion, dishonesty and control, and lead him to repentance and to a right path, apart from your daughter.

Take courage. The clock of mercy strikes in heaven at the hour appointed by the eternal purpose of Jehovah. Continue to speak truth, to keep the door of home and of prayer open, to guard your own soul with the Word and with prayer, and to trust the One who has invented the way of deliverance and has found a ransom in Christ. May the Lord fill you and your family with His Holy Spirit in every part of your lives, saturating you with His peace, love, favor, protection and healing, and may He grant you supernatural strength, grace and courage for each obstacle. In the name of Jesus Christ our only hope, Amen.
