We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for freedom, protection, restoration and healing for your older daughter and your family.
We have continued to lift up your older daughter before the Lord these past days. We have prayed that she would have a blessed day at work and be grateful and thankful for her job and for her supportive family, and we thank God with you for the promotion He blessed her with last month and for the beautiful purpose her work serves for others. We have prayed against the overreach of this young man's mother who has no biblical authority to speak into your daughter's life, and we have asked the Lord to block and frustrate every word curse and every scheme to control, divide and isolate your daughter from you, her siblings, her family and her church friends. We have asked Him to expose every motive rooted in darkness, pride, selfishness, jealousy and manipulation, and to frustrate every plan to encourage your daughter to live together outside of marriage, to exploit her income, to treat an ungodly living arrangement as a marriage, and to put this young man's family before the family God has blessed her with.
We have prayed for your daughter to be set free from this stronghold that has been held for too long, that the Holy Spirit would break the hold of this toxic influence over her heart, open her eyes to see the truth, and restore her understanding that she is a child of the Most High God and does not belong to this young man or his family. We have prayed that she would no longer defend or commit to this relationship and living arrangement or take on responsibilities that are not hers to bear, that she would have wisdom to protect her finances and not take out more credit to sustain this man, and that she would no longer imitate controlling, manipulative, dishonest and mocking behaviors toward you and her family. We have prayed that the Lord would remove the exhaustion, chaos and financial hardship that comes from this ungodly situation, soften her heart to receive His conviction, grant her courage to walk away with no regrets, and reignite her hunger for righteousness so she may return to the safety and wisdom of her family and church community. We have prayed that this young man who is controlling, lazy, dishonest and rebellious and not ready to be a husband, provider or spiritual leader would no longer have an authoritative hold over her, and that the Lord would restore peace, fellowship, happiness, respect, unity and freedom to your home.
We stand on the promise that no weapon formed against you shall prosper as written in Isaiah 54:17 and that where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom as written in 2 Corinthians 3:17 and that the Lord will restore what has been broken as written in Joel 2:25.
