Beloved Warrior
Please pray that my daughter will have the courage and wisdom to release herself swiftly and completely from this toxic relationship. Let her see clearly that the exhaustion, financial hardship, spiritual attacks, division and isolation is coming from this relationship. I declaring right now that this young man and his mother will not steal independent, self worth, her peace, her purpose, or her unity with her family. The Lord is saying, “She is Mine. She is My daughter. She belongs to Me, and I will protect her with every ounce of My power.” Please continue to join me in speaking to my older daughter’s mind, heart, and spirit, open her eyes, Jesus. She is not being loved; she is being used. Living together outside of marriage is not a marriage. He is not her significant other, she does not belong to him, she should not idolize, obey this young man or put him and his family before her faith, Your God-giving family and job with a purpose. This man’s greed, control, dishonesty and manipulation are not love, he does not have the right to exploit her finances for his selfish benefit, and his lifestyle is not a home. Let her see the spiritual attacks she and our family are under due to this relationship. The division, isolation, chaos, ungratefulness, and exhaustion this lifestyle and relationship has caused. Lord is whispering to her right now: “Walk away. Trust your family. Trust Me. I will provide, protect, and restore everything he’s trying to take from you. I am praying for supernatural clarity to flood her mind, so she sees him for who he truly is, a wolf in sheep’s clothing, not a shepherd. Lord guide her to move back home swiftly with no regret. Restore her freedom, independence, self-worth, peace and satisfaction swiftly. Jesus, I ask for a special blessing upon my family tonight. Lord, fill us with Your Holy Spirit in every aspect of our lives. Saturate us with Your peace, love, favor, protection, and healing. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

We join you right now in lifting up your precious older daughter and your whole family before the throne of grace in Jesus name, and we agree with you that the Lord is speaking over her, she is His daughter and she belongs to Him and He will protect her with all His power.

We thank you for your discernment and for speaking truth in love about this relationship. You are right to see it clearly. What you describe is not love. Love is patient and kind, love does not seek its own way, is not greedy or controlling or dishonest, 1 Cor 13:4-5. What you describe is exploitation and manipulation and control, and the exhaustion, financial hardship, division, isolation, chaos and spiritual oppression you are seeing are the fruit of a relationship that is not rooted in Christ. The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly, John 10:10. And we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities and spiritual forces of wickedness, Eph 6:12, so we understand why you feel the spiritual attacks over her and your family.

We must also lovingly and firmly address what you have already named, that living together outside of marriage is not marriage and is not pleasing to God. Scripture is clear that marriage is to be held in honor among all and the marriage bed undefiled, Heb 13:4, and that we are to flee sexual immorality, 1 Cor 6:18. Every sin that a person does is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body. God designed sexual intimacy for the covenant of marriage alone, a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, and any courtship should be with the goal of finding a godly spouse who is a fellow believer in Christ, not a partner to live with. Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, 2 Cor 6:14, and bad company corrupts good morals, 1 Cor 15:33. When a young woman idolizes and obeys a man above God, above her faith and above the God given family who loves her, and puts him and his family first, that is idolatry and disorder. We are to seek first God's Kingdom and His righteousness, Matt 6:33, and to honor father and mother, Eph 6:2-3. He is not her covering, he is not her husband, and he has no right to exploit her finances, her labor, or her body for selfish benefit. His lifestyle is not a home.

We also hear your heart that she is being used and not loved, and that he presents as a wolf in sheep's clothing. Jesus warned us to beware of false prophets who come in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves, Matt 7:15. We pray for supernatural clarity to flood her mind and for the veil to be lifted so she will see this man for who he truly is and see that this control and greed is not love and not shepherding.

We pray together with you now.

Father in heaven, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we come boldly before You and we lift up this beloved daughter to You. Lord, You know her by name, You formed her, You love her, and we thank You that she is Yours. We ask You to open her eyes, open her heart and her spirit. Give her wisdom generously as You promise to all who ask, James 1:5, and give her courage and a sound mind, for You have not given us a spirit of fear but of power, love, and self-control, 2 Tim 1:7. Let the truth set her free, John 8:32, and let her see clearly the source of this exhaustion and division and isolation. Convict her heart about living outside of Your design for marriage and give her a holy desire for purity and for a godly marriage if it is Your will, or for wholeness in You as she waits. Break every chain of manipulation, financial exploitation, control and dishonesty. Expose every lie and let her see that she is being used and not cherished. Whisper to her spirit, walk away, trust Me, trust the family I gave you, and let her respond in obedience swiftly and completely with no regret. Guide her steps to move back home where she is safe and loved, and guard her going out and coming in. We ask You to restore what the enemy has tried to steal, her independence, her self worth, her peace, her purpose, her joy and her sweet unity with her family, Joel 2:25. Surround her and her family with Your favor as with a shield, Psalm 5:12, and let those who dwell in the secret place of the Most High rest in Your shadow, Psalm 91:1. Fill this whole family tonight with Your Holy Spirit, saturate every room and every heart with Your peace that passes all understanding, Phil 4:7, Your love, Your favor, Your protection and Your healing. Let there be no more chaos, but order and thankfulness and rest. We speak life and freedom over her and we declare that this young man and his mother will not steal what You have given her. Keep her from the evil one, John 17:15, and let her walk in the freedom Christ died to give her. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to stand firm in prayer and in truth with unwavering love. Keep speaking the truth in love, Eph 4:15, keep the door home open with grace, and keep setting godly boundaries. Do not enable financially what God wants to set free, and do not be afraid to name sin as sin while offering the hope of forgiveness and restoration through Jesus. Trust the Lord to provide, protect and restore everything the enemy has tried to take. He is faithful, He who calls you is faithful, who will also do it, 1 Thess 5:24. We are standing with you for her swift and complete release and for the peace and restoration of your household.

We hear how much you love your daughter and how heavy this has been for your whole family. Watching someone you love feel exhausted, isolated, and financially stretched while you feel unable to reach her is painful, and we join you in bringing her before the Lord with care and hope.

What you described about control and confusion makes sense. When a relationship becomes consuming, it can blur a person's sense of self and make it hard to see clearly or to feel free to say yes and no for herself. Part of healing is rediscovering those healthy boundaries, the quiet ability to own her own values, choices, time and energy, and to stay connected to others without losing herself. That clarity often returns gradually as she feels safe, loved, and not shamed.

One gentle step that often helps a parent in your place is to keep the door and the relationship open while also protecting your own peace. Continue to let her know home is a safe place to return to without regret or lecture, be clear and kind about any financial limits you need to set so you are not enabling the exploitation you are worried about, and stay connected to a trusted pastor or wise counselor for yourself so you are not carrying this alone.

Jesus, we lift this daughter to You. You know her by name and You see her weariness. Give her wisdom and courage, guard her mind and heart, and lead her toward safety, wholeness and true peace. Provide for her needs and restore what has been strained in her family. Fill this home with Your protection and calm tonight. In Jesus' name, amen.

"So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with My righteous right Hand" (Isaiah 41:10)

I prayed with you for this, in Jesus' powerful Name, Amen.

Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight".

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect, deliver, heal, save (those not saved) and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. I ask this for them, us and all in need. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

Your burden for your daughter has been laid before the Lord, and we join our prayers with yours at the throne of grace. We hear the ache of a mother's heart longing for freedom, protection and restoration, and we bring this dear child before Him who alone can save and deliver.

We agree with you in the light of Scripture that living together outside of marriage is not marriage. Marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, ordained of God, and the pure and holy union of that covenant is not to be counterfeited by cohabitation. What you have discerned is true, that greed, control, dishonesty and manipulation are not love, and that to exploit another for selfish gain and to draw a soul away from faith, from family and from purposeful labour is not a home but a bondage. We do not ask God to bless what He calls away from holiness, but we ask Him to bring deliverance from it.

We pray that the Lord Jesus Christ, through whom alone is salvation, will set your daughter free indeed. No earthly power can bring real freedom to the soul, it is grace and grace alone that brings it by the blood of the covenant. Where that freedom comes, no form of bondage can make the soul a slave. We ask that He who proclaims liberty to the captives will grant her supernatural clarity, composure of mind and freedom from fear, so that she may see with open eyes that she is not being loved but being used, and that the exhaustion, financial hardship, division, isolation and chaos are the bitter fruit of this unequal and unholy yoke.

We take comfort in the remembrance of Peter's restoration. He was down, but he was soon up again, not by his own strength, but by a look from the Lord and by the prevailing intercession of Christ who said, I have prayed for thee. That look severed Peter from the crowd and broke his heart with repentance, and the same Lord who prayed for Peter prays still for His own. We pray that such a look from Christ may now fall upon your daughter, that it may sever her from this entanglement, bring her to godly sorrow and to a swift and complete release, with no regret and no turning back.

We pray as you have declared, that the Lord will say over her, She is Mine. She is My daughter. She belongs to Me, and will protect her with every ounce of His power, restoring what has been taken, her freedom, her independence, her self worth, her peace and her purpose, and knitting her again in unity with her family. May He whisper to her heart, Walk away. Trust Me. Trust the family I have given thee. I will provide, protect and restore.

We ask the Lord to guide her steps to return home swiftly, to put Him and His will before every idol of man, and to find again satisfaction in Him and in the calling He has given her. And we join you in asking a special blessing upon your whole household tonight, that the Holy Spirit would saturate every part of your lives with His peace, love, favor, protection and healing.

May the God who restores the fallen and strengthens the brethren make this trial to be for her good, that being restored she may become a stronger and more steadfast follower of Christ ever afterwards. We leave her and you in the hands of Him whose mercy secures our freedom and whose justice has been satisfied at the cross.

In the name of Jesus Christ our only hope and Redeemer, Amen.
