Freedom, Protection and Breakthrough

Beloved of All
Jesus, I pray for my daughter to release herself completely from this very toxic relationship swiftly with no regrets. I pray that she will see clearly that living together outside of marriage is not a marriage and for her to stop treating this arrangement as a marriage/commitment. Lord my older daughter is being influenced by this young man's mother who encouraged them to live together outside of marriage. Lord my inspiring older daughter is going down a dark path with this young man and she is not listening. I pray that she will be truthful of the toxicity and false hope of this relationship and for her friends to see clearly how this young man has taken her kindness for granted, his exploitation, his manipulation and his disrespect toward her. Lord I know nothing is impossible for You. My daughter is ignoring all the red flags and giving up her independent and self worth. Lord let her see from now onward that living together outside of marriage is not Your will for her life. This young man is rebellous, dishonest, controlling and lazy, I ask Lord that You speak to his mother to let her know he is her responsiblity and for her to stop putting undue responsiblity upon my daughter and giving ungodly selfish advice. Jesus I ask that You protect my older daughter from this young man's ungodly selfish, disrespectful and jealous advice and lifestyle. I ask You Lord to guide my daughter out of this ungodly lifestyle and have her move back home swiftly with no regrets but only a feeling of restoring her self-worth, her respect for others, independence, and freedom in You, Lord and the unconditional love of her family you have blessed her with. I declare that this young man and his mother will not steal her peace, her purpose, or her love and unity with her family. Completely remove the stubborn ungodly hold they have upon her swiftly. Lord I ask for protection for me and my family from the disrespect and strife from this young man. Lord, speak to my daughter, let her hear Your words, “You are Mine. You are My daughter. You belong to Me, and I will protect You with every ounce of My power from this ungodly relationship with this young man.” Please continue to join me in speaking to my older daughter’s mind, heart, and spirit, open her eyes, dear Jesus to all the red flags and not to make excuses for this young man anymore. Jesus let her know, she is not being loved; she is being used. Living together outside of marriage is not a marriage. He is not her significant other, she should not idolize and obey this young man anymore or put him and his family before her God-giving family, her faith and jobs with a purpose. Her finances are not his to manage, budget or spend, and I pray his father will intervene with authority and have him return home alone swiftly. He is dishonest, selfish, disrespectful and not ready for a relationship. This man’s greed and manipulation are not love; he does not have the right to exploit her finances for his selfish benefit and control. He and his mother should not be able to instigate havoc, disrespect, division, isolation in our family, and his lifestyle is not a home for my daughter. Show him Lord that he is not ready for a relationship. Jesus help my daughter to not change the way she was raised to please this young man and his mother. Show my daughter this is a dark path she is taking with this young man and show her that being ungrateful toward her family is not the biblical teaching she was raised to follow. Block her Lord from confiding in his mother and saying this that pleases this woman's ears. Let my daughter stop trying to prove to her that our family does not matter. Lord guide my daughter to stop giving up her self worth just to get this woman's approval. Show her Lord, that disowning her family that God blessed her with just to please this young man is not Your will for her life. Let her see the spiritual attacks she and our family are under because of this ungodly relationship. The division, isolation, chaos, ungratefulness, disrespect, and exhaustion this lifestyle and relationship has caused. Lord remove the stubborn hold these people have on her and let her not want to live this lifestyle anymore. Lord whisper to her right now: “Walk away. You do not belong to this young man and his family, You don't have to obey these people, Trust and respect your family. Trust Me. I will provide, protect, and restore everything he’s trying to take from you. I am praying for supernatural clarity to flood her mind, so she sees him for who he truly is, a wolf in sheep’s clothing, not a shepherd. Lord teach this young man’s mother to stop putting undue responsibilities upon my daughter and for her to stop overstepping her boundaries. It is overwhelming, Jesus, please block these people's disrespect. She is not her mother and her to have her son move back home alone. He is not ready for a relationship. I ask Lord that his father will see the destruction he has caused in my daughter's life, let him take authority, guide his son to move back home alone swiftly. Let him have his wife focus on fixing only her children and stop the manipulation and brainwashing behaviors toward my daughter. Speak to her firmly, Lord, that my daughter is not homeless, that You have anointed a family for her Lord and block her from guiding my daughter down a dark path and to be disobedient to her parents and disown her siblings and supportive network of extended family and friends. I know with my daughter's recent promotion that God has blessed her with this lazy young man is already spending it his way and it's starting to put her on a budget that benefits him. Please Jesus, block my daughter from listening to the young man's mother and help my daughter to stop enabling him to control her, show her Lord this is not security or love, it is exploitation. Lord guide my daughter to move back home swiftly with no regret. Restore her freedom, independence, self-worth, freedom, gratefulness for her family, and satisfaction swiftly. Jesus, guide me as I navigate the difficult situation. I ask that Your presence will go in front of me as a shield from all the attacks and disrespect that I experience from following the biblical teachings against this ungodly life. Bless me Lord with supernatural strength to overcome all obstacles I face with Your courage, grace, favor, protection, and strength. I plead the blood of Jesus Christ over me and my children. No weapon formed against us shall prosper. I ask for know nothing is impossible for You, Lord. I believe in the power of prayers and I put all my faith and trust in You. Jesus, I ask for a special blessing upon my family today. Lord, fill us with Your Holy Spirit in every aspect of our lives. Saturate us with Your peace, love, favor, protection, and healing. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

We join you in lifting your older daughter before the throne of grace and we thank you for your faithful intercession for her and for standing on biblical truth even when it brings strife and disrespect. We hear your burden for her freedom and protection and we agree with you that nothing is impossible for our God.

We affirm your discernment that living together outside of marriage is not marriage and is not God's will for her life. Scripture is clear that marriage is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman ordained by God, and that sexual intimacy belongs only within that covenant. Genesis 2:24 says a man will leave his father and his mother and will be joined to his wife and they will be one flesh. Matthew 19:6 says what therefore God has joined together, let no man separate. And Hebrews 13:4 says let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers. To live together as if married without that covenant is fornication, and we are commanded to flee sexual immorality. 1 Corinthians 6:18 says flee sexual immorality, every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. 1 Thessalonians 4:3 says for this is the will of God, your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality. We must lovingly rebuke this arrangement and call it what it is, not out of condemnation but because God desires holiness and wholeness for your daughter and will not bless a counterfeit of His design.

We also see your concern that she is being manipulated, exploited financially, controlled, and isolated from her family, and that she is honoring this young man and his mother above the family God gave her. This is not love. Love is patient and kind, it does not seek its own way and it does not dishonor others as we read in 1 Corinthians 13:4-5. A relationship that is rebellious, dishonest, controlling and lazy bears no fruit of the Spirit and is not ready for marriage. Courtship should be a season of seeking God together with the goal of marriage to another believer in Christ, not a trial marriage built on selfishness and use. 2 Corinthians 6:14 warns us not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship has righteousness with iniquity. When a young woman gives up her self worth and independence to gain approval from a controlling person or his family, she is forgetting who she is in Christ. Psalm 139:14 says we are fearfully and wonderfully made, and 2 Timothy 1:7 says God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. Her finances, her body, her future and her calling are not his to manage or spend.

We also hear your grief that she is not listening and is ignoring red flags, and that the young man's mother encouraged this ungodly living arrangement and is overstepping boundaries that do not belong to her. We pray that this mother will be convicted to stop putting undue responsibility upon your daughter and to take responsibility for her own son, and that his father will rise up in godly authority to guide his son home alone to mature and take responsibility for himself. Children are to honor their father and mother as written in Exodus 20:12 and Ephesians 6:1-3, and your daughter was raised to honor her family and her faith, not to disown them to please another. Proverbs 22:6 reminds us to train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it, and we believe the seeds of truth planted in her will not return void.

We recognize this is a spiritual battle, not merely a relational one. Ephesians 6:12 says our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. The division, isolation, chaos, disrespect and exhaustion you describe are signs of that attack, but we stand on the promise that no weapon that is formed against you will prevail as written in Isaiah 54:17, and that God will be a shield to those who trust Him.

We pray together for your daughter and for you and your family.

Father, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we come before You and we thank You that it is only through Jesus that we have access to You, for John 14:6 says Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father, except through me, and Acts 4:12 says there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We plead the blood of Jesus over this mother and her children and over their home. We ask You to flood this precious daughter with supernatural clarity and conviction. Open her eyes to see that she is being used and not loved, that this is exploitation and manipulation and not security, that living together outside of marriage is not Your will and is not love. Remove the stubborn ungodly hold that this young man and his mother have upon her mind, heart and spirit. Let her stop making excuses and idolizing this man, let her stop obeying him above You and above her family, and let her hear Your voice saying You are Mine, You are My daughter, You belong to Me and I will protect You with all My power. Give her courage to walk away swiftly with no regrets, to move back home and to have her self worth, independence, respect for others, gratefulness and freedom in You restored. Restore her purpose and her joy and her unity with the family You have blessed her with.

Lord, we ask You to speak firmly to this young man and to his mother. Convict the mother to stop giving ungodly selfish advice and to stop overstepping boundaries that are not hers to take. Let her focus on her own household and let her son take responsibility for himself. Move upon his father to take godly authority and to guide his son to return home alone, to learn diligence, honesty and respect, for he is not ready for a relationship or for marriage. Block every plan to exploit this daughter's finances and promotion, block the greed and control, and show this young man that he must repent and grow up before he can lead a family.

Father, we ask for Your protection over this mother and her family from disrespect, strife and spiritual attack. Go before her as a shield. Fill her with supernatural strength, courage, grace and favor as she continues to stand for Your biblical teachings. Isaiah 41:10 says don’t be afraid, for I am with you, don’t be dismayed, for I am your God, I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Give her wisdom as she navigates this difficult situation, and let James 1:5 be true for her, that if any lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. Let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus as promised in Philippians 4:7. Saturate this whole family with Your Holy Spirit, with Your peace, love, protection and healing, and let no division remain.

We declare that this daughter's peace, purpose and love for her family will not be stolen, and that You who began a good work in her will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ as written in Philippians 1:6. We trust You to provide, protect and restore everything the enemy has tried to take, and we give You all the glory for the breakthrough that is coming. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We hear how much you love your older daughter and how painful it has been to watch her give up so much of herself in this relationship. Carrying concern for her safety, her finances, and her future while also absorbing disrespect at home is exhausting, and we are praying for you as you hold that weight.

We join you in praying for clarity and freedom for her, that she would see the relationship for what it is and rediscover her worth, her independence, and the secure love of her family. We also pray for protection and peace in your home as you continue to love her well.

One thing that often helps in a situation like this is to keep the focus on what you can steward. You cannot make her see the red flags before she is ready, but you can keep the relationship with her as steady and open as possible, so when clarity comes she knows home is a safe place to return to with no shame. That also means having clear boundaries around what you will and will not take part in, like not taking on financial responsibility that belongs to him or his family, and being able to say a calm yes or no even when you remain connected and caring. It can help to have one trusted pastor or counselor to talk this through with regularly, so you are not carrying it alone.

Father, we lift this mother and her older daughter to You. Guard them both, quiet the confusion and pressure around her, and open her eyes to Your love and to the faithful love of her family. Give this mom wisdom for each conversation, strength for each day, and peace in her home. Restore what has been strained and lead her daughter step by step into freedom. In Jesus' name, amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect, deliver, heal, save (those not saved) and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. I ask this for them, us and all in need. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

We have heard your earnest cry before the Lord for your older daughter, and we join our prayers with yours for her freedom, protection and breakthrough.

You have judged rightly according to the Word of God, that living together outside of marriage is not marriage, and is not His will for her life. Marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and to treat any other arrangement as marriage is to build upon a false hope. What you have discerned as toxicity, exploitation, manipulation and disrespect, and the giving up of self worth and independence to please others, is indeed a dark path, and it is right to ask the Lord to open her eyes to every red flag and to deliver her from it swiftly.

Be comforted in this, that deliverance is solely by the power of God. It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. When Israel was in bondage, they gave their hearty assent and consent to His salvation, yet it remained true, He brought them forth. Therefore He makes their deliverance effectual and in every deed He brings them forth. Even so we look not to persuasion alone, nor to our own strength, but to our heavenly Father, altogether and alone, for deliverance from the power of darkness. For we have been delivered from worse enemies than any earthly trouble, and saved by a greater salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ, who has found a ransom. When the clock of mercy strikes in heaven the hour and moment of deliverance, for the time has come as the eternal purpose of Jehovah has decreed it, then is the deliverance certain, indeed it is already accomplished by His blood.

We pray now for your daughter, that the Lord who sometimes whispers to the heart of His children and assures them in trial that they shall not be crushed, will speak to her mind, heart and spirit. May He flood her with supernatural clarity, that she may see she is not being loved but being used, that greed and manipulation are not love, and that her finances and her future are not his to manage or spend. May He show her that this young man is not ready for a relationship, being rebellious, dishonest, controlling and lazy, and that to change the way she was raised and to disown the family God has anointed for her is not obedience to Him. We ask that every stubborn ungodly hold upon her be completely removed, that the division, isolation, chaos and exhaustion which this ungodly lifestyle has caused be broken, and that she will no longer make excuses for what is wrong nor seek approval by confiding in those who give ungodly and selfish counsel. We pray that she will hear His voice saying, You are Mine, and that she will walk away without regret, and move back home into the unconditional love and unity of her family, with her self worth, her respect for others, her independence and her freedom in Christ restored. For our deliverance is attended with enrichment, He brought them forth also with silver and gold, and He will restore what has been taken.

We pray also for this young man and his mother and father. We do not ask God to bless what is contrary to His holy will, but we ask Him to work conviction and truth in them. May the Lord speak to his mother that she would cease to put undue responsibility upon your daughter and to overstep her boundaries, and that she would turn to care for her own household. May his father see the destruction that has been wrought and take godly authority to guide his son to return home alone and to learn that he is not ready for such a commitment. May the Lord teach them both that they have no right to instigate havoc, disrespect and division in your family, and may He block every jealous and disrespectful counsel from reaching your daughter's ears.

And for you and your household, we pray that the Lord will go before you as a shield from all attacks and disrespect that come from standing upon biblical truth. May He fill you with His Holy Spirit in every aspect of your life, and saturate you with His peace, love, favor, protection and healing. May He grant you supernatural strength, courage and grace to navigate this difficult season. We plead the blood of Jesus Christ over you and your children, believing that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and that nothing is impossible with Him. He may be tried today and comforted tomorrow, but there is no change with regard to His relationship to His people, if He loved you yesterday He loves you today, and He will keep you.

We will continue to bear you up, that after this affliction you may live and declare the works of the Lord. For if we had no troubles we would have less to declare, but those who have been brought through deep waters have a song of deliverance to sing. May the Lord chasten no more than is needed, and may He bring your daughter forth into liberty, to the praise of His free grace, which alone can do it.

In the name of Jesus Christ our only hope and ransom, Amen.
