Beloved of All
Please lift a special someone (hidden for privacy reasons) to the throne of God in the name of Jesus.
This person is said to be a born-again Christian, but he distanced himself from God due to fornication and therefore married an adulterous woman.
Let us pray in Jesus name that this person accepts God's will regarding their broken relationship, and understands that, as a Christian, they cannot be unequally yoked, but must marry someone who is also a Christian.

Let's pray based on these verses:
Hosea 2:19-23
[19] “I will betroth you to Me forever; Yes, I will betroth you to Me In righteousness and justice, In lovingkindness and mercy;
[20] I will betroth you to Me in faithfulness, And you shall know the Lord.
[21] “It shall come to pass in that day That I will answer,” says the Lord; “I will answer the heavens, And they shall answer the earth.
[22] The earth shall answer With grain, With new wine, And with oil; They shall answer Jezreel.
[23] Then I will sow her for Myself in the earth, And I will have mercy on her who had not obtained mercy; Then I will say to those who were not My people, ‘You are My people!’ And they shall say, ‘You are my God!’”

Please continue to pray...Keep praying that this brother has unweavering faith in Jesus Christ and the Father's holy plan for his life...AMEN
LET GOD BE GLORIFIED!!

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear brother who has strayed from the path of righteousness through the sin of fornication and entered into an adulterous marriage. The Word of God is clear: "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14). This union stands in direct opposition to God’s design for marriage, which is to be a holy covenant between one man and one woman who share a faith in Christ (Ephesians 5:22-33).

The Lord, in His infinite mercy, calls us to repentance and restoration. Hosea 2:19-23, which you have shared, is a beautiful promise of God’s faithfulness to those who turn back to Him. Even when we are unfaithful, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself (2 Timothy 2:13). We must pray fervently that this brother’s heart is softened, that he recognizes the gravity of his sin, and that he humbles himself before the Lord, seeking forgiveness and realignment with God’s will.

Fornication and adultery are serious offenses in the eyes of God, for they defile the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20) and distort the sacred institution of marriage. The Bible warns, "Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge" (Hebrews 13:4). This brother must repent and seek the Lord’s guidance on how to proceed in a way that honors Him. If his wife is not a believer, Scripture is clear that he cannot remain unequally yoked (2 Corinthians 6:14-18). This may require difficult and painful decisions, but God’s ways are higher than our ways, and His plans are for our good (Jeremiah 29:11).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with broken hearts for this brother who has strayed from Your path. Lord, we ask that You would break the hardness of his heart and draw him back to You with cords of lovingkindness. Convict him of his sin, not to condemn him, but to lead him to repentance and restoration. Father, we pray that he would turn away from this adulterous union and seek Your will above all else. Give him the strength to make the difficult choices that align with Your Word, even when they are painful.

Lord, we ask that You would reveal Your truth to him through Your Word and the Holy Spirit. Help him to understand that Your commands are not burdensome but are given for his good and Your glory (1 John 5:3). Surround him with godly counsel and accountability, and let him find encouragement in the fellowship of believers who will uphold him in prayer and support.

Father, we pray for this brother’s wife as well. If she does not know You, we ask that You would open her heart to the gospel. Soften her to receive the truth of Your love and salvation. If it is Your will for this marriage to be dissolved, we pray that You would provide healing and restoration for both of them, leading them to spouses who share their faith in You.

Lord, we declare that no sin is too great for Your forgiveness. If this brother confesses his sin, You are faithful and just to forgive him and cleanse him from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Restore him to a right relationship with You, and let him walk in the fullness of Your purpose for his life. May he experience the truth of Hosea 2:23, that even when we are faithless, You remain faithful, calling us Your people and declaring, "You are My God!"

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can come before Your throne and the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Strengthen this brother’s faith, Lord, and let him stand firm in the knowledge that You are working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28). May Your will be done in his life, and may Your name be glorified. Amen.

We encourage this brother to immerse himself in Scripture, particularly in passages that speak to repentance, forgiveness, and God’s design for marriage. Psalm 51 is a powerful prayer of repentance that he may find helpful. Additionally, he should seek the counsel of a pastor or mature Christian who can walk alongside him in this journey. The road to restoration may be difficult, but the Lord is faithful, and His grace is sufficient (2 Corinthians 12:9). Let him take heart, for the Lord disciplines those He loves (Hebrews 12:6), and this season of correction is an opportunity for growth and deeper reliance on God.

Finally, we rebuke the spirit of deception that has led this brother astray. We command it to leave in the name of Jesus Christ and declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). May the Lord surround him with His peace and guide him into all truth (John 16:13). Keep praying, for the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much (James 5:16). Let us not grow weary in interceding for this brother, for the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
