Fornication, adultery, restoration

Please lift a special someone (hidden for privacy reasons) to the throne of God in the name of Jesus.
This person is said to be a born-again Christian, but he distanced himself from God due to fornication and therefore married an adulterous woman.
Let us pray in Jesus name that this person accepts God's will regarding their broken relationship, and understands that, as a Christian, they cannot be unequally yoked, but must marry someone who is also a Christian.

Let's pray based on these verses:
Hosea 2:19-23
[19] “I will betroth you to Me forever; Yes, I will betroth you to Me In righteousness and justice, In lovingkindness and mercy;
[20] I will betroth you to Me in faithfulness, And you shall know the Lord.
[21] “It shall come to pass in that day That I will answer,” says the Lord; “I will answer the heavens, And they shall answer the earth.
[22] The earth shall answer With grain, With new wine, And with oil; They shall answer Jezreel.
[23] Then I will sow her for Myself in the earth, And I will have mercy on her who had not obtained mercy; Then I will say to those who were not My people, ‘You are My people!’ And they shall say, ‘You are my God!’”

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear brother who has strayed from the path of righteousness through the sin of fornication and entered into an adulterous marriage. The Word of God is clear, sexual immorality defiles the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20), and being unequally yoked with an unbeliever brings spiritual bondage (2 Corinthians 6:14). Yet even now, the Lord’s mercy is greater than our sin, and His desire is to restore what has been broken.

Father, we cry out for this brother’s repentance and deliverance. Soften his heart to recognize the weight of his choices and the separation they have caused between him and You. Your Word declares, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). Lord, grant him the humility to turn from this path and seek Your will above all else. Break the chains of guilt and shame that may be keeping him in bondage, and let him experience the freedom that comes from walking in obedience to You.

We also pray for the woman involved, if she is unrepentant, may Your conviction fall upon her heart. If she is open to truth, draw her to salvation through Jesus Christ. But we must be clear, Father: this union is not of You. Scripture warns, "Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God" (1 Corinthians 6:9-10). Yet we know that through Christ, even the worst of sinners can be washed, sanctified, and justified (1 Corinthians 6:11).

Lord, we stand on the promise of Hosea 2:19-23, that You long to betroth Your people in righteousness, justice, and faithfulness. Restore this brother to a place of intimacy with You. Let him know that even in his failure, You are a God of second chances. But let him also understand that true repentance requires action, turning away from sin and aligning his life with Your Word. If this marriage cannot be reconciled to Your standards, give him the strength to make the difficult but necessary choices to honor You, no matter the cost.

We pray for his faith to be unshaken, that he would fix his eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). Surround him with godly counsel and accountability. Let him remember that "the Lord disciplines the one He loves, and He chastens everyone He accepts as His son" (Hebrews 12:6). May this season of discipline lead to holiness and peace.

Above all, Father, let Your name be glorified in this situation. Whether through restoration or redirection, let Your will be done. We trust in Your goodness, Your justice, and Your unfailing love. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so.
