Please pray in Jesus' name based on this verse.
Luke 9:24 states: "For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it." (ESV)
Please pray that the landlord will give his life to our Lord Jesus, so that he will not lose it.

Lord Jesus we believe that you reign over the darkness, and your light expels all darkness and all unclean spirits from those affected by it.
Lord Jesus, we declare victory over this rented apartment situation, and we ask for your healing power to guide the former landlord on his life's journey.
We believe everyone will see your Greatness and Power.
No one can withstand Your mighty power. We ask your mercy and grace.
We thank you for your love and faithfulness.

Please pray that, in the name of Jesus, the landlord recognises his true identity in Christ, and that his eyes are opened to the false identity that man adopts when he strays from God's narrow path and follows his own desires.

We thank you for bringing your former landlord before the Lord with such compassion and faith, and we gladly join you in praying for his soul.

We are moved by the verse you have chosen, for it contains the very heart of the gospel. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake, the same will save it. Luke 9:24 This is the call to surrender, to die to self and to our own desires, and to live for Christ. We pray that your former landlord will hear this truth and understand that true life is not found in holding on to his own way, but in giving his life fully to Jesus. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 And it is written, that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9 We pray he comes to this saving faith.

We also join you in declaring that Jesus reigns over all darkness, for the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. John 1:5 We agree with you that no one can withstand His mighty power, and that His light expels all darkness and every unclean influence. We pray for victory in this rented apartment situation, that any bitterness, conflict, or spiritual heaviness connected to it would be broken in Jesus name, and that healing and peace would reign instead.

We lift up your request that he may hear God's voice concerning His holy plan for his life. Jesus said, My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. John 10:27 We pray the Lord will soften his heart to hear that voice, and that he will turn from the broad way that leads to destruction and choose the narrow way that leads to life. Enter in by the narrow gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter in by it. How narrow is the gate and restricted is the way that leads to life, and few are those who find it. Matthew 7:13-14 We pray he will recognize the false identity that comes from following his own desires and straying from God's path, and instead embrace his true identity in Christ. We pray he becomes a new creation, for if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17 We pray his eyes are opened to see himself as God sees him, chosen and loved, and that he would receive a new heart and a new spirit as God has promised. I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. Ezekiel 36:26

We know the Lord is patient and merciful, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9 We trust in His love and faithfulness to pursue your former landlord even now.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, and we lift up this former landlord to Your throne of grace. Lord, we ask for Your mercy upon him. Open his eyes to see his need for a Savior, and draw him by Your Holy Spirit to surrender his life to Jesus Christ. Help him to lose his life for Your sake, so that he may truly save it and receive eternal life. Speak clearly to his heart, Lord, so he can hear Your voice and discern Your holy plan for his life. Remove any veil of darkness or deception, and reveal to him his true identity in Christ. Lead him off the path of his own desires and onto Your narrow path of righteousness. We declare Your victory and Your healing power over him and over this former rented apartment situation, and we ask that Your light would fill every place where darkness has tried to remain. Let everyone involved see Your greatness and power, and let Your love and faithfulness be made known. We thank You that You hear our prayer, and we trust You to complete the good work You have begun. We appreciated your heart for your former landlord and the way you brought him before the Lord. To keep praying for someone after the rental relationship is over, asking not for your own advantage but for his good and for him to know Jesus, reflects real care.

We join you in asking that he would come to truly know Christ and find the wholeness God offers. Part of that wholeness is discovering who we are in Him. When a person builds an identity on his own desires or accomplishments it never holds steady, but an identity rooted in Christ is not easily shaken. We are also encouraged that God is not distant or silent. He is a gracious communicator who seeks us out and makes Himself known, and He can guide this man toward His good plan for his life in His time and way.

A simple next step that helps many who carry a burden for someone's salvation is to keep a steady, quiet rhythm of prayer for him. When he comes to mind, lift him by name again and entrust him to the Lord's mercy, rather than carrying the weight of the outcome yourself.

Father, we lift this former landlord to You in Jesus' name. Draw him to Yourself, open his eyes to know You, and help him hear Your voice and follow You. Give him a true understanding of who he is in Christ and lead him in Your grace on the path You have for him. We trust him to Your loving care. Amen.

We join you heartily in prayer for this former landlord, and we thank you for bringing his soul before the throne of grace upon the very word of our Lord in Luke 9:24. That word is solemn and true, for whoever seeks to save his life by holding it for himself shall lose it, but whoever loses his life for Christ's sake shall save it. There is no other way of saving the soul but by giving it up wholly into the hands of Jesus.

We pray in the name of Jesus Christ, the only Saviour, that the eyes of this man may be opened to see God's Salvation. Not a salvation of his own making, but God's Salvation from top to bottom, God's in the beginning, God's in the carrying on and God's in the concluding. May he hear the voice of the blood of Christ which speaketh better things than that of Abel, for Abel's blood cried for revenge, but Christ's blood crieth, Father, forgive them. Oh that this precious voice may be heard in his conscience, that still small voice which saith, mercy, mercy, mercy, and that he may know a real atonement and a real pardon through the blood of Jesus Christ, God's dear Son, which cleanseth us from all sin.

We pray also that he may hear God's voice concerning His holy plan for his life. Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. We entreat the Lord to bring that Word to his ears, not as the word of man, but as it is in truth the Word of God, and to give him ears to hear it. Many have found Christ while they were hearing the Gospel preached, and have discovered that pardon and heaven were theirs. May it be so with him, that hearing he may live, and that he may no longer refuse the Kingdom of Heaven which has come so near unto him.

And we ask the Lord to show him his true identity in Christ, and to open his eyes to the false identity that man adopts when he strays from God's narrow path and follows his own desires. Out of Christ there is no good thing, for that which would be good with Christ becomes evil without Him. But in Christ there is a new creation, and whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed. May he be led to trust himself wholly and entirely in the hands of Christ, for then his eyes shall have seen God's Salvation. May he lose his life for Jesus' sake, that he may truly save it, and dwell forever with a true Christ in true glory.

We commend him to the mercy and grace of our reigning Lord, whose light expels all darkness, and we ask that the Lord will continue His work until it is perfected in the day of Christ. May the Lord hear our united cry and bring this soul from darkness into His marvellous light, to the praise of His love and faithfulness. Amen.

We thank you for sharing this burden and we join with you in prayer before our Lord Jesus Christ, who alone is the way of salvation.

We agree with you according to Luke 9:24, that whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for Jesus will save it. We pray that the Father in His mercy will draw your former landlord to Himself, that he will turn from trusting in himself and following his own desires, and give his whole life to Jesus Christ in repentance and faith, so that his life will be saved and not lost.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus we lift this man before you. You reign over all darkness and your light overcomes it. We ask that you open his eyes to see his need for a Savior and to see that salvation is found in Jesus alone. Grant him ears to hear your voice and a heart to respond to your holy plan for his life. Reveal to him his true identity as one made to know you and live in Christ, and expose the false identity that comes when a person leaves your narrow path to follow his own way. Lead him out of confusion and into truth, out of darkness and into your grace.

We ask for your mercy and grace to work in his heart, bringing conviction of sin and the joy of forgiveness through the cross and resurrection of Jesus. May he come to know your love and faithfulness, surrender fully to you, and walk in new life.
