Former landlord

Kensem

Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus' name based on this verse.
Luke 9:24 states: "For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it." (ESV)
Please pray that the landlord will give his life to our Lord Jesus, so that he will not lose it.

Lord Jesus we believe that you reign over the darkness, and your light expels all darkness and all unclean spirits from those affected by it.
Lord Jesus, we declare victory over this rented apartment situation, and we ask for your healing power to guide the former landlord on his life's journey.
We believe everyone will see your Greatness and Power.
No one can withstand Your mighty power. We ask your mercy and grace.
We thank you for your love and faithfulness.
Amen

Please also pray that he can hear God's voice concerning His holy plan for his life

Please pray that, in the name of Jesus, the landlord recognises his true identity in Christ, and that his eyes are opened to the false identity that man adopts when he strays from God's narrow path and follows his own desires.

We join with you in lifting up this former landlord before the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus, and we thank you for standing in the gap for his soul. Your heart to see him give his life to Christ is beautiful and reflects the heart of our Father who desires that none should perish.

We cling to the truth you shared in Luke 9:24, For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake, the same will save it. What a profound exchange, to lose our old life driven by self and to gain eternal life in Christ. We pray that this truth takes root deeply in his heart and that the Holy Spirit draws him to surrender fully to our Lord Jesus, so that he will not lose his life but save it for eternity. As it is written in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We pray he comes to know this saving name personally.

We agree with you that Jesus reigns over all darkness and that His light expels every shadow. Jesus said in John 8:12, I am the light of the world. He who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life. We pray that this light shines into every place of darkness and that any influence of unclean spirits or confusion is driven out by the power of Jesus. We declare with you victory over this rented apartment situation and ask for the Lord's peace and healing to rest upon all involved, and for His guiding hand to lead this man on his journey.

We also pray as you asked that he will hear God's voice concerning His holy plan for his life. Jesus says in John 10:27, My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. We pray his ears are opened and his heart is softened to hear and to follow. That he would not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of his mind, so that he may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God as taught in Romans 12:2.

And we pray that his eyes are opened to his true identity in Christ. We pray the prayer of Ephesians 1:18, having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints. May he turn from the false identity that man adopts when he strays from God's narrow path and follows his own desires, and come to know that if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new as promised in 2 Corinthians 5:17.

Father, we come before You in Jesus name and ask for Your mercy and grace upon this man. Draw him by Your love and faithfulness, reveal Your greatness and power to him in a way he cannot deny, and let no one withstand Your mighty power to save. Open his eyes, open his ears, and lead him to lose his life for Jesus so that he may truly find it. We thank You for Your love and faithfulness and trust You to complete the work You have begun. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus we pray, amen.

Thank you for bringing your former landlord before the Lord so faithfully. It says a lot that even after the rental season has ended you still carry him in prayer and want him to know the life Jesus offers.

We hear your longing that he would find his true identity in Christ rather than the false identities we can all build when we follow our own desires, and that he would hear God's leading for his life. Coming to know who we are in Christ and learning to recognize God's voice is often a quiet, unfolding process, and God is patient as He draws a person.

One simple way to stay faithful in this is to keep praying for him by name when you think of him, entrusting him to Jesus without carrying the weight of the outcome yourself. If the Lord gives you a natural moment of contact, a brief word of grace or kindness can reflect Christ more than a long explanation.

Father, in Jesus' name we lift this landlord to You. Draw him to Yourself, that he would turn to Jesus and receive true life. Open his eyes to who he is in Christ and gently show him where he has been following his own way. Help him to hear Your voice and to sense Your holy plan for him. Have mercy on him and lead him step by step. Amen.

We join you in this prayer before the throne of grace, and we thank you for bringing this former landlord before the Lord in the name of Jesus Christ.

The word you have laid hold of is true and searching. Our Lord said, For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will save it. There is no other way of salvation. Salvation must be God's from beginning to end, God's in the carrying on and God's in the concluding. It is not an it but a Him, even Jesus Christ Himself, who is God's Salvation. To lose our life for His sake is to make an unconditional surrender to God, to submit ourselves to be saved in God's way, by looking unto Christ and trusting ourselves wholly into His hands.

We pray together for this man.

O Lord Jesus, You reign over all darkness and Your light expels it. We ask in Your mighty name that You would have mercy upon this landlord. Bring him to see that apart from You there is no good thing, and that to seek to save his own life by his own desires is to lose it. Grant him repentance and faith, that he may look unto You and be saved. Show him Your real atonement, that the blood of Jesus Christ Your Son cleanses from all sin, and grant him a real pardon. Open his eyes to see You as God's Salvation, and enable him to trust himself wholly into Your hands, that he may not be ashamed.

Holy Spirit, we pray that You would strive with him and that he would submit himself to Your whispers. Speak to him concerning Your holy plan for his life, and make him willing to hear Your voice and to follow the narrow path. As a Father teaches a child, teach him in Your school, that he may know his true identity in Christ, as one redeemed by precious blood and made a new creature. Open his eyes to see the false identity that man adopts when he strays from Your way and follows his own desires, and show him that such a way ends in loss.

We ask that You would guide him on his journey, and that You would also grant peace and healing where there has been strife concerning the rented apartment. Let Your power be seen, not for our comfort only, but that all may see Your greatness and give praise to the God of all grace.

We encourage you to continue in prayer, looking unto Jesus yourself and resting upon His finished work. He is able to save to the uttermost, and He will not cast out any who come to Him by faith. May the Lord keep you steadfast as you intercede, trusting that God's salvation is permanent and will never fade for those who believe on Him.

We commit this landlord to the Lord's mercy, asking all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and foundation. Amen.
