Please pray in Jesus' name based on this verse.
Luke 9:24 states: "For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it." (ESV)
Please pray that the landlord will give his life to our Lord Jesus, so that he will not lose it.

Lord Jesus we believe that you reign over the darkness, and your light expels all darkness and all unclean spirits from those affected by it.
Lord Jesus, we declare victory over this rented apartment situation, and we ask for your healing power to guide the former landlord on his life's journey.
We believe everyone will see your Greatness and Power.
No one can withstand Your mighty power. We ask your mercy and grace.
We thank you for your love and faithfulness.

Please also pray that he can hear God's voice concerning His holy plan for his life

Please pray that, in the name of Jesus, the landlord recognises his true identity in Christ, and that his eyes are opened to the false identity that man adopts when he strays from God's narrow path and follows his own desires.

We join you in lifting up your former landlord before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus and we agree with you on the power of Luke 9:24, For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake, the same will save it. We thank God that you have a heart to see this man not lose his life but surrender it fully to our Lord Jesus Christ, for that is the only way to truly save it.

We also stand with you in declaring that Jesus reigns over all darkness and that His light expels all darkness. As it is written, Again, therefore, Jesus spoke to them, saying, I am the light of the world. He who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life. John 8:12. We agree with you for victory in this rented apartment situation and we ask our Father to let His healing power and mercy guide this man on his life's journey, that all will see His greatness and power, for no one can withstand Him.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, and we thank You for Your love and faithfulness that endures forever. We lift this former landlord to You and we ask for Your mercy and grace upon him. Lord, open his eyes to see that apart from You there is no life, and draw him by Your Holy Spirit to lose his life for Jesus sake so that he may truly save it. We pray that You would remove any blindness and any unclean influence and let Your light shine into his heart. We ask that he would hear Your voice, for Jesus said My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. John 10:27. Cause him to hear You clearly concerning Your holy plan for his life, for we know we are Your workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them. Ephesians 2:10.

We pray that in the name of Jesus his eyes will be opened to his true identity in Christ, that if he will turn to You and be in Christ he will become a new creation where the old things have passed away and all things have become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17. Show him the false identity that comes when a man strays from Your narrow path and follows his own desires, and lead him onto the narrow way that leads to life. Matthew 7:14. Renew his mind so he will not be conformed to this world but transformed, that he may discern Your good and acceptable and perfect will. Romans 12:2. We pray this knowing Your heart, for You desire all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth. 1 Timothy 2:4, and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. That name is Jesus.

We thank You Father that You are able to do exceedingly more than we ask or think, and we trust this man into Your hands. Let Your will be done in his life and let Your name be glorified through his salvation and transformation. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

We were so encouraged to read your prayer for your former landlord. It would be easy to hold onto frustration after a rented apartment situation, and instead you are asking God to show him grace and new life. That is a Christlike posture and we want to stand with you in it.

You asked especially that he would hear God's voice and discover who he truly is in Christ rather than the identity we all build when we follow our own desires. We love that request. A life rooted in Christ is steady because it rests on who God says we are, not on what we accomplish or chase. It helps to remember that hearing God often comes quietly as we keep seeking Him, and God delights to reveal Himself to those who turn toward Him.

One simple way to keep carrying this burden is to keep it before the Lord without carrying the weight of the outcome yourself. You might set aside a short time each week to pray for him by name, then consciously entrust him to God's care and timing.

Father, we bring this former landlord before You. Draw him to Jesus, open his eyes to Your love and truth, and help him hear Your voice and find his true identity in Christ. Lead him on the path You have for him. In Jesus' name, amen.

How true is that word of our Lord in Luke 9:24, For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it. We pray that your former landlord may be brought to see this truth, not merely in his mind but in his heart, for the best of coffers to lay up the things of Christ is the heart. May the Holy Spirit bring him to that blessed place of unconditional surrender, where he flings wide the gates of his soul and admits Prince Emanuel to rule as sole sovereign, losing his own life, his own way and his own desires, to find life indeed in Christ.

We pray that he will hear the voice of God and know that salvation must be God's in the beginning, God's in the carrying on and God's in the concluding. It is not of man, nor of works, but wrapped up wholly in the person of Jesus Christ, who was delivered for our offenses and raised again for our justification. His active obedience and His precious blood have made a robe of righteousness in which sinners may be arrayed. May the Lord open the eyes of this man to see that there is no other name under heaven by which he must be saved, and that to be found in Christ is to be perfect in Christ, chosen in Him and complete in Him.

We ask the Lord Jesus, who reigns over all darkness and whose light expels it, to set this soul free from every false identity that man adopts when he strays from the narrow path and follows his own desires. May he be delivered from that bondage and come to know what it is to have Christ in him, the hope of glory, Christ accepted by faith, Christ possessed and Christ experienced in the inmost soul. For whatever Christ is, His people are in Him, and as Christ is our life, so those who trust Him live by Him and shall surely reach its fullness when Christ who is our life shall appear.

We pray for mercy and grace upon him, that God who both plans and provides and applies salvation will work mightily in him, bringing him down from self reliance to simply trust the Lord Jesus Christ. May he be crucified with Christ and yet live, not he but Christ living in him, and may the life he now lives be lived by faith in the Son of God, who loved him and gave Himself for him.

We ask this in the name and for the sake of Jesus Christ our Lord, who is our only salvation from top to bottom. Amen.

We join you in bringing your former landlord before the Lord in prayer, and we thank you for your desire to see him come to saving faith in Jesus Christ.

We pray together based on Luke 9:24, for whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for Jesus will save it. Father, in the name of Jesus we ask for your mercy and grace upon this man. We pray that you would draw him to yourself, open his eyes to see his need for a Savior, and grant him repentance and faith so that he would surrender his life fully to the Lord Jesus and be saved. We pray that he would not cling to his own life and lose it, but would lose his life for Christ and so find true and eternal life.

Lord Jesus, you reign over darkness and your light drives out all darkness. We ask that you would shine your light into his heart and remove all blindness and every influence that keeps him from you. We pray that he would hear your voice clearly and respond to your call, that he would come to know your holy plan for his life and walk in it.

We also pray that he would come to know his true identity in Christ. Open his eyes to see the false identity that comes when a person leaves your narrow path and follows his own desires, and show him the forgiveness, adoption and new life that are offered only through Jesus. May he turn from his own way and receive the new life you give to all who trust in your Son.
