Please pray in Jesus' name based on this verse.
Luke 9:24 states: "For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it." (ESV)
Please pray that the landlord will give his life to our Lord Jesus, so that he will not lose it.

Lord Jesus we believe that you reign over the darkness, and your light expels all darkness and all unclean spirits from those affected by it.
Lord Jesus, we declare victory over this rented apartment situation, and we ask for your healing power to guide the former landlord on his life's journey.
We believe everyone will see your Greatness and Power.
No one can withstand Your mighty power. We ask your mercy and grace.
We thank you for your love and faithfulness.

We join with you in lifting up this former landlord before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus, and we agree with you on the truth of that powerful verse. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake, the same will save it. Luke 9:24

What a beautiful and eternal prayer to pray for another soul, that he would surrender his life to the Lord Jesus and truly find it. We love your heart for his salvation and for declaring the victory and light of Christ over that rented apartment situation and over his life. We stand with you that Jesus indeed reigns over all darkness, for He is the light of the world. He who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life. John 8:12 And we know that the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. John 1:5

We also pray that he will come to hear the voice of the Good Shepherd, for Jesus said My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. John 10:27 Our desire is that the Father would open his ears and soften his heart to hear and respond.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You for Your great love and faithfulness and for Your mercy and grace that endures forever. We thank You that You are patient, not wishing that anyone should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9 Lord, we lift up this former landlord to You. We ask that You would draw him by Your Holy Spirit, convict him of sin and of righteousness, and reveal to him his need for a Savior. Grant him the gift of repentance and faith to confess with his mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in his heart that You raised Him from the dead, so that he will be saved. Romans 10:9 We pray that he would truly lose his life for the sake of Jesus, surrendering all he is and all he has to Your Lordship, so that he may save it for eternity. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12

Lord Jesus, we declare Your victory over every place of darkness and every unclean influence connected to that rented apartment situation. You have delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of Your love. Colossians 1:13 Let Your light expel all darkness from him. Give him a new heart and put a new spirit within him. Ezekiel 36:26

Father, we ask that You would speak clearly to him concerning Your holy plan for his life. For we know You say, I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you. Psalm 32:8 Reveal to him the thoughts You think toward him, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give him hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11 Open his ears to hear Your voice, open his eyes to see Your greatness and power, for no one can withstand Your mighty hand. Draw him into fellowship with You, that he would follow You all the days of his life.

We thank You, Lord, that You hear our prayers when we ask according to Your will, and it is Your will that all be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. 1 Timothy 2:4 We trust You to continue to work in his heart even when we cannot see it.

We encourage you to continue to stand in the gap for him with steadfast prayer and to show the love of Christ in your own testimony. Continue to pray that the Word of God would take root in his heart, for faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ. Romans 10:17 We trust the Lord to be faithful to complete the good work He has begun.

We are grateful you brought your former landlord before the Lord so faithfully. It is a beautiful thing to care about someone's eternal good even after the rental relationship has ended, and to want him to know Jesus and hear God's direction for his life.

We join you in praying for him. We know we can bring the light of truth through prayer and kindness, but only God can change a heart. Salvation is God's gracious work that forgives and makes a person whole, and it also begins to reshape how they walk through daily life. That is why your prayers matter, even when you cannot see what God is doing behind the scenes.

One simple way to keep carrying this burden is to continue lifting him by name before the Lord as you already are, asking God to draw him and to make His will clear to him in ways he can understand, and trusting God's timing for how He works.

Father in Jesus name we lift this landlord to You. We ask for Your mercy to reach him, that he would come to know Jesus and receive eternal life, and that You would guide him clearly into Your good plan for him. Give our friend peace as he trusts You with this person. Amen.

Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. We join you in bringing this former landlord before the throne of grace, and we do so upon the sure word of our Lord, For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it. That is the solemn truth of our Saviour, and it shows the only way of salvation. No salvation will ever serve his turn but one which is Divine from top to bottom, God's in the beginning, God's in the carrying on and God's in the concluding, through the active and passive obedience of Christ, who is Himself God's Salvation.

We pray that the Lord in infinite mercy will deliver him from the power of darkness. That darkness is no mere shadow, for the prince of darkness exerts a mysterious power upon the human mind to blind and to hide the truth, so that a man cannot find his way. Yet it is written, He has delivered us from the power of darkness, and translated us into the kingdom of God's dear Son. We ask that what God has done for us He may do for this man, that the light of Christ may expel all darkness and that he may be delivered from going down to the pit. God has found a ransom, and that ransom is the precious blood of His dear Son, and we plead that ransom for him now, that his old bands may be snapped and he may be set free, not merely kept from some conspicuous sin but truly translated from death to life.

We pray also, as you have asked, that he may hear God's voice concerning His holy plan for his life. Many desire a voice from heaven with thunder and majesty, but the Father has said from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased, hear Him. May divine grace constrain this man to listen to the still small voice of the Beloved, to hear Christ and to live. May he be brought to know the truth of his own sinnership that he may know the truth of God's salvation, to believe in a real atonement and to receive a real pardon, and so to lose his life for Christ's sake that he may save it unto eternal life.

O Lord Jesus, who reigns over the darkness, look upon this soul. Speak the word, Deliver him from going down to the pit, and let him hear and obey. Grant him repentance and faith, that he may confess Thee as Lord and follow Thee whithersoever Thou goest. Let him not seek to save his life in his own way and so lose it, but let him yield himself wholly to Thee and find life everlasting. We ask this not for our merit but for Thy great love and faithfulness, and for the glory of Thy mighty power which none can withstand. In the name of Jesus our only Saviour, Amen.
