Former landlord

Kensem

Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus' name based on this verse.
Luke 9:24 states: "For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it." (ESV)
Please pray that the landlord will give his life to our Lord Jesus, so that he will not lose it.

Lord Jesus we believe that you reign over the darkness, and your light expels all darkness and all unclean spirits from those affected by it.
Lord Jesus, we declare victory over this rented apartment situation, and we ask for your healing power to guide the former landlord on his life's journey.
We believe everyone will see your Greatness and Power.
No one can withstand Your mighty power. We ask your mercy and grace.
We thank you for your love and faithfulness.
Amen

Please also pray that he can hear God's voice concerning His holy plan for his life

We join you in lifting up your former landlord before the throne of grace and we agree with you in Jesus' name for his salvation.

We love the verse you have chosen, for it speaks the very heart of the gospel. Luke 9:24 says For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake, the same will save it. This is the great exchange that Jesus offers, that when a person surrenders his own way and gives his life fully to Christ, he does not lose in the end but truly finds eternal life. We pray that your former landlord will come to understand this truth and will choose to lose his life for Jesus' sake so that he may save it.

We also stand with you in declaring that Jesus reigns over all darkness, for John 8:12 tells us I am the light of the world. He who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life. We agree that His light expels all darkness and we ask for His mercy and grace to shine into this man's heart and into every part of that rented apartment situation you mentioned. We pray that any influence of unclean spirits or darkness would be driven out by the mighty power of Jesus, for no one can withstand His power.

Our hearts desire is that this man would not only hear about Jesus but would truly hear God's voice and follow His holy plan. Jesus said in John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. We pray that the Lord would open his ears to hear and his heart to respond, that he would become one of Christ's sheep.

We thank God that He is patient and loving and desires all to be saved, as 2 Peter 3:9 reminds us that He is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. We pray with faith that God will continue to work in this man's life.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus, the only name by which we must be saved as Acts 4:12 teaches, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We lift up this former landlord to You and we ask for Your mercy upon him. Lord, draw him by Your Holy Spirit, convict him of his need for a Savior, and grant him repentance and faith. We pray that he would confess with his mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in his heart that You raised Him from the dead, so that he will be saved according to Romans 10:9. Help him to surrender his life to Jesus, to lose his life for Your sake, so that he will save it for eternity. Open his ears to hear Your voice and to discern Your holy and perfect plan for his life, and give him the courage to follow You. We declare Your victory and Your healing power over his journey and we trust in Your love and faithfulness. We thank You for hearing our prayer and we give You all glory for the greatness of Your power. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

Thank you for bringing your former landlord before the Lord so faithfully. It means a lot that you are carrying someone from a past rental situation in prayer and wanting what is best for his life and future.

We hear how much you want him to know Jesus and to hear God clearly about the direction for his life. That kind of intercession is a quiet, steady way to love someone even after your paths have parted, and God sees that care.

We will keep praying with you for him, that God would draw near to him, soften his heart, and make His love and truth clear to him in a way he can understand. And that if there are ways God wants to speak to him about next steps, he would have openness to listen and respond.

One simple way to stay encouraged as you pray is to keep a brief, regular rhythm, perhaps taking a moment each week to lift him by name and thank God for His patience and mercy, trusting God to work in His timing.

Father, we lift this landlord to You. You know him by name and You love him. Draw him to Yourself, open his eyes to Your grace in Jesus, and help him hear Your voice and follow Your good plan for his life. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

We join you in prayer for your former landlord, and we thank you for bringing this burden before the Lord according to His Word.

You have well chosen the word of our Lord in Luke 9:24, For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it. There is a great truth here that every man must learn, that to cling to his own life and his own way is to lose all, but to yield himself wholly to Christ is to find life indeed. We pray that this truth may operate powerfully upon his mind and prove itself real to his soul.

We are reminded that we are all tenants in the house of this life, and God is the Landlord. Your breath is in your nostrils, but He keeps it there, and we owe the continued possession of our existence every day to Him. There is a clause in the lease that the Landlord has at all times the right to enter and to call us to account. Our prayer is that your former landlord may hear that still small voice, and may offer the key of his house to the Great Landlord, acknowledging that he lives on sufferance as His tenant, and that he must prepare to meet his God. May he come to see his need as a sinner, for only those who have really transgressed know the truth of their sinnership, and only such can know the truth of Christ's salvation.

That salvation is God's salvation from top to bottom, not of man. It is not a temporary work, but a permanent and real salvation. It rests upon a real Fall, a real Atonement by the blood of Jesus Christ His dear Son, and it brings a real pardon. The blood of Jesus cleanses from all sin, and whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. For there is no other name by which we must be saved, and no salvation will serve his turn but one which is Divine in the beginning, in the carrying on, and in the concluding. We pray that his eyes may be opened to see God's Salvation, even Jesus Himself, and that he may hear that blessed doctrine of substitution, Believe and live.

You also ask that he may hear God's voice concerning His holy plan for his life. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. The mere letter alone will not save, but when a man puts his ear down to the promises of Scripture till he hears God speaking through them to his soul, then the Word has power. We pray that he may not be as those who are deaf because they will not hear, who close their ears to holy exhortation, but that he may hear with heed, attentively and earnestly, not as a careless hearer, but as one who hears the Gospel as God's own voice speaking to him. May the Holy Spirit make the Word to be life and salvation to him, warning him by its threats, cheering him by its promises, and guiding him into the order which God has revealed in His commandments.

Let us pray together.

O Lord our God, our great Landlord and Keeper of our lives, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your only Son, our only Savior. We ask Your mercy and grace upon this man who once stood as landlord over an earthly dwelling. Lord, You reign over the darkness, and Your light expels all darkness. We ask that You shine that light into his heart, that all unclean darkness may flee before You. Grant him to see himself as he truly is, a sinner in need of a real Atonement, and grant him to see Jesus as Your Salvation, offered freely to all who trust Him.

We pray that he may lose his life for Your sake, that he may save it. Bring him to true faith in Christ alone, that he may receive a real pardon through the blood of the Lamb. Speak to him, O Lord, by Your Word and by Your Spirit, that he may hear Your voice and know Your holy plan for his life. Draw him through the gate of salvation, and complete Your work in him, for what You begin You will finish.

We thank You for Your love and faithfulness, and for Your power which none can withstand. We leave this soul in Your mighty hands, trusting that You are able to save to the uttermost all who come unto God by Him. Hear our prayer, for Jesus sake. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer for your former landlord is heard and we join with you in asking the Lord for his salvation.

We pray in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is salvation in no other, that your former landlord would hear the word of the Lord and be converted. As the Scripture says, whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for Jesus will save it. What will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul. We ask that God would open his eyes to see this truth, that he would not cling to his own life and his own way and so lose it, but that he would surrender his life to Christ and so truly save it.

We know that God desires his salvation and not his destruction. If he turns to Christ in repentance, the Lord will heal him and forgive him. God does all things for the salvation of souls, and His mercy is ready for all who turn to Him. We pray that the darkness would be driven away by the light of Christ, and that every unclean influence would depart, so that he may clearly hear the voice of God.

We ask that today he would hear Gods call, for now is the acceptable time and now is the day of salvation. May the Lord grant him a careful hearing of the word, continual recollection of the truth, and a heart willing to follow. May he come to know Jesus as Lord and Savior, receive eternal life in Christ with eternal glory, and walk in Gods holy plan for his life.

We thank God for His love and faithfulness, and we trust His power to save. We will continue to pray that your former landlord gives his life fully to Jesus and lives for Him. Amen.
