Please pray that the landlord will give his life to our Lord Jesus, so that he will not lose it.

Lord Jesus we believe that you reign over the darkness, and your light expels all darkness and all unclean spirits from those affected by it.
Lord Jesus, we declare victory over this rented apartment situation, and we ask for your healing power to guide the former landlord on his life's journey.
We believe everyone will see your Greatness and Power.
No one can withstand Your mighty power. We ask your mercy and grace.
We thank you for your love and faithfulness.

We join with you in praying for your former landlord in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and we are encouraged by your heart to see him come to salvation.

We take to heart the verse you shared, for Jesus said in Luke 9:24, For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake, will save it. This is the very heart of the gospel, that we must surrender our lives wholly to Christ to truly find life. We also remember John 3:16, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only born Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. And Acts 4:12 reminds us, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is only through Jesus that this landlord can be saved, and we rejoice that you have lifted him up by that precious name.

We also hear your prayer concerning the rented apartment situation and the desire for victory over darkness and for healing and guidance in this man's life. We agree that our Lord reigns over all darkness and His light overcomes it, as John 1:5 says, The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness hasn’t overcome it. We pray that any influence of darkness or unclean spirits would be expelled by the power of Jesus, and that the Lord would bring peace and closure to what has happened with this tenancy.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this former landlord to Your throne of grace. Lord, we ask that You would soften his heart and open his eyes to his need for a Savior. Draw him by Your Holy Spirit to repentance and faith, that he would lose his life for Your sake and so save it. Grant him a new heart as You promised in Ezekiel 36:26, A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you. We pray that he would hear Your voice clearly concerning Your holy plan for his life, for Jesus said in John 10:27, My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. Let faith come to him by hearing Your word, for Romans 10:17 says, So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ. Guide him on his life's journey, show him Your greatness and power, and pour out Your mercy and grace upon him. We also ask for Your healing power to work in any brokenness in his life and for Your peace to reign over this former rented apartment situation for all involved, that any bitterness or strife would be replaced with forgiveness and understanding. We thank You for Your love and faithfulness that never fails. We trust this man into Your hands and pray that he will come to know You as Lord and follow You all his days.

We encourage you to continue to pray for him and if possible to show him the love of Christ through forgiveness and kindness, and to share the gospel with him as God gives opportunity, for 2 Peter 3:9 tells us, The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. We trust that God desires his salvation and will honor your faithful intercession.

We appreciate you bringing your former landlord to the Lord in this way. It says a lot that even after the rented apartment situation, your heart is for his life and his future with Jesus, and for him to hear God's leading clearly.

Wanting someone to know Christ and to find God's holy plan for his life is the most loving prayer we can offer for another person. We don't know where he is spiritually right now, but God does, and He hears your intercession for him. We join you in asking that the Lord would draw near to him, soften his heart, and make Himself known in a way he can understand and respond to.

One simple way to keep carrying this is to keep his name before the Lord regularly in your own prayer time, even with just a brief moment each day, trusting God to work in His timing and in His way.

Father, we lift this former landlord to You. We ask for Your mercy and grace over his life, that he would come to know Jesus as Savior and find real life in Him. Open his ears to hear Your voice and guide him into the good plan You have for him. Bring healing and peace where there has been tension, and let Your light and love be evident to him. Your prayer for your former landlord is a right and Christlike petition, and we do gladly join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace.

You have chosen a most solemn and searching word of our Lord, For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it. There is a permanence in God's salvation, it will never fade, it is not a temporary work. Many would keep their lives unto themselves and so lose all, but the Truth of God's salvation operates most powerfully upon the mind when a man sees his real fall, his real need as a sinner, and then sees a real atonement provided in the blood of Jesus, and by that atonement receives a real pardon. No other salvation will serve his turn but one which is Divine from top to bottom, God's in the beginning, God's in the carrying on and God's in the concluding. Wherever our eyes spiritually light upon the Christ of God, there we see God's Salvation itself. That blessed doctrine of substitution, Believe and live, is the glass through which the soul looks and sees God's Salvation.

It is this we desire for this man who was once your landlord. We pray that he may not strive to save his life by his own keeping, but that he may yield it up in unconditional surrender to God. This is submission to God, the true surrender of every proud pretension. May he no longer ask with Pharaoh, Who is the Lord that I should obey his voice, but like one brought to his senses say, Lord God, I own thee now to be King. And may he submit himself to God's way of saving him, which is not by his merits, nor by his tears, but by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, trusting Him alone. For the Scripture says, Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.

You also ask that he may hear God's voice concerning His holy plan for his life. This is a needful prayer, for there are none so deaf as those who will not hear, whose deafness is moral, who deliberately close their ears to holy exhortation. Happy are they who put their ear down to the promises of Scripture till they hear God speaking through them to the soul. The mere letter alone will kill, but when we hear God's voice speaking in it, then it has power. We pray that the still small voice of the Holy Spirit may strive with him, that he may obey the inward monitor, and that he may take heed how he hears, receiving the Word not as the word of man, but as it is in truth, the Word of God.

There is a fitting word for his case in that thought of landlord and tenant. There is a clause in the lease of our lives which some have never observed, namely, that the Great Landlord has at all times the right to enter and to require His own property. We are tenants at will, living on sufferance as His tenants. Our prayer is that this man may cheerfully offer the key of his house to that Great Landlord, that go where He will in all its rooms, He may see the remembrances of His own grace, the marks of His own workmanship, the beauties of His own Holy Spirit, and that he may be found ready, whensoever he is called to surrender possession.

Let us pray together.

O Lord Jesus, Thou who reignest over darkness, whose light expels all darkness and every unclean spirit, we bring this man before Thee. Thou knowest him and all his ways. We ask Thy mercy and grace upon him. Bring him to see himself truly as a sinner that he may see the truth of Thy salvation. Reveal to him Thy real atonement made upon the cross, and grant him a real pardon through faith in Thy blood. Grant him grace to lose his life for Thy sake, that he may save it unto eternal life. Draw him by Thy Spirit to unconditional surrender, to trust Thee simply and wholly. Open his ears that he may hear Thy voice speaking in Thy Word, and make him heedful to obey Thy will as revealed in Thy commandments and promises. Guide him in Thy holy plan for his life, and let him know that to be Thy pupil is to be blessed indeed. Let Thy greatness and power be seen in his salvation, for no one can withstand Thy mighty hand. This we ask, trusting in Thy love and faithfulness, in Thine own name and for Thine own glory. Amen.

We join you in this prayer in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and thank you for bringing this burden before God with faith.

We pray together that your former landlord will hear the voice of Christ and respond to it. As Scripture says, faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God, and now is the day of salvation. We ask that God in His mercy would open his ears to hear and his heart to understand the gospel, that he would see his need for a Savior and turn to Jesus Christ alone for salvation.

We pray according to Luke 9:24, that he will not seek to save his life on his own terms and so lose it, but that he will lose his life for the sake of Christ and so save it. May the Lord deliver him from darkness and bring him into the light of Christ, that the power of the gospel would be at work in him for his eternal good. We ask that God would make His holy plan and calling clear to him as he hears and follows the voice of the true Shepherd.

We thank God for His love and faithfulness and for His power to save. We ask that He would continue to guide you as you pray with lowliness and patience, trusting that He reigns over all and desires all to come to repentance and life in His Son.
