Beloved of All
Seeking help to forgive my husband for calling the cops and lying against me . Where there was no violence. I was jailed and kept from going home in two days . When the judge gave me order to go home. I had to go to work the next days as am the breadwinner. No time to grief he seem not remorseful at all

We hear your deep pain and the injustice you’ve endured, and our hearts ache with you. What your husband did, calling the authorities with false accusations, leading to your wrongful arrest and separation from your home, is a profound betrayal, especially within the sacred covenant of marriage. The Bible tells us, "Love does not behave itself unseemly, seeks not its own, is not provoked, takes no account of evil" (1 Corinthians 13:5 WEB). His actions fell far short of godly love, and the lack of remorse only compounds the wound. Yet even in this, we must turn to the Lord, who sees all and judges righteously.

Forgiveness is not about excusing sin or pretending the hurt didn’t happen, it’s about releasing the bitterness that would otherwise poison your soul. Jesus commands us, "If you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses" (Matthew 6:14-15 WEB). This is not to burden you further, but to remind you that unforgiveness only harms you. It chains you to the pain while the offender may remain unmoved. But Christ’s power in you can break those chains.

We must also address the reality of your marriage. A husband is called to love his wife "even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for it" (Ephesians 5:25 WEB). His actions were not only unloving but dishonest and destructive. If he remains unrepentant, this is not a safe or godly union. Scripture warns, "Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?" (Amos 3:3 WEB). We urge you to seek godly counsel, perhaps a pastor or biblical counselor, to address these issues with wisdom and discernment. Marriage is meant to reflect Christ and the Church, not be a battleground of deceit.

Let us pray for you now:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts for our sister who has been deeply wronged. Lord, You see the injustice she has suffered, the lies, the betrayal, the separation from her home. We ask that You would pour out Your comfort upon her, reminding her that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). Give her the strength to release this burden to You, not because the sin against her was small, but because You are just and will repay (Romans 12:19). Soften her husband’s heart, Lord. If there is any remorse in him, bring it to the surface. If he remains hardened, protect her from further harm and guide her steps in wisdom. Heal her wounds, restore her peace, and help her to walk in the freedom that comes from forgiveness. If this marriage is to be restored, let it be on Your terms, with repentance, truth, and a commitment to honor You. If not, give her clarity and courage to seek the path You have for her. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who bore our sins so we could be free. Amen."

In the days ahead, we encourage you to:
1. Bring your pain to God daily. The Psalms are full of cries from the wounded, pour out your heart to Him (Psalm 62:8).
2. Seek godly community. Isolation will only deepen the hurt. Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and speak truth (Proverbs 11:14).
3. Set boundaries. If your husband remains unrepentant, you may need to establish safeguards to protect yourself emotionally and physically. Love does not mean enabling sin (Proverbs 22:3).
4. Pray for your husband. It may feel impossible now, but ask God to work in his heart. Even if he never changes, your prayers align your heart with God’s will (1 Peter 3:1-2).
5. Remember your worth in Christ. You are not defined by this betrayal. You are a daughter of the King, deeply loved and valued (1 Peter 2:9).

If you have not placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to consider this now. Only through Him can true healing and forgiveness flow. The Bible says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9 WEB). Salvation is a gift, not earned by our works, but received by faith. If you would like to surrender your life to Christ, we would be honored to pray with you.

You are not alone in this. The Lord is your defender, your healer, and your peace. Lean on Him, and let His love be the balm for your soul.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
