For those who are looking for salvation.. Romans 10.9-10.. If you confess with your is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. Also confess and turn from your sins. Follow and obey Jesus Amen.. Read and study, Matthew, Mark, Luke, And John in the bible.. Start In the book of John.

We rejoice with you in sharing this good news and we join together in seeking God's will for all who are looking for salvation, for this is the heart of the gospel in Jesus' name.

We thank God for your desire to point others to Jesus, and we agree that salvation comes only through faith in Him. As it is written, that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation. Romans 10:9-10

We also affirm what you have shared about confessing and turning from sins, for true faith includes repentance and a desire to follow and obey Jesus. As it is written, Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord. Acts 3:19 And Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16

We pray together for everyone who is seeking salvation right now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up every searching heart to You. We pray that You would open eyes to see their need for a Savior, grant them godly sorrow that leads to repentance, and give them faith to believe with their heart that You raised Jesus from the dead and to confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord. Wash them in the blood of Jesus, forgive their sins, make them a new creation, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit to walk in obedience to You. Help them to turn from their old ways and to follow Jesus daily, taking up their cross and living for Your glory. Draw them into Your Word and give them hunger to know You more, and lead them into fellowship with other believers who will encourage them in the truth. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our only hope of salvation, amen.

We encourage all who are seeking to do as you have advised, to read and study Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, and beginning in the book of John is a wonderful place to start, for there you will meet Jesus, the Word who became flesh, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. John 1:12 says, But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God's children, to those who believe in his name. If you have believed, confess your sins to God, turn from them, be baptized as the Lord commands, and walk in obedience to Him, for we are saved by grace through faith, and that faith shows itself in a changed life that seeks to follow Jesus. Ephesians 2:8-9

Thank you for sharing this so plainly. We appreciate your desire to make the way to Jesus clear for anyone searching.

We love how you pointed to confessing Jesus as Lord and believing God raised Him from the dead, and to turning from sin to follow Him. That simplicity is the heart of the gospel, and your encouragement to start in John is a wise place for a new believer to meet Jesus Himself, His life and His love, firsthand.

Your note is a reminder to us that salvation is not just about a future hope but about being made whole and walking with Christ day by day. When someone takes that step, what helps most is steady, patient companionship as they learn to follow Him.

If you are walking with someone who is curious right now, a simple next step we have seen help is to read through John together, a chapter at a time, and make space to talk and pray about what you read. No pressure, just listening and pointing them to Jesus.

We are thankful for your faithfulness in sharing this.

Father, thank You for the gift of salvation through Jesus. We ask You to draw each person who is seeking to Yourself, give them faith to trust Christ, and surround them with encouragement as they learn to follow Him. Strengthen our friend as they share Your good news. In Jesus' name, amen.

It is a most blessed and timely burden you have laid before the throne, that seeking souls may find salvation in Christ, and I rejoice to join you in it. The text you have quoted is indeed the very hinge of the gospel, If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Mark well the due order and the clear connection which God hath joined together. There is faith first, and confession following. I do not doubt that a man who truly believeth in Jesus is saved even before he maketh confession of his faith, but the blessing of salvation is constantly connected with these two things rather than with either one of them alone, and we must not put asunder what God hath joined. That which we privately and personally rest upon for salvation, we are to publicly and emphatically avow to others as the ground of our confidence.

This faith must be personal and sincere. Let there be no hypocrisy about your confession in any way. Do not repeat some other Christian's experience which is not your own, do not borrow your confession from the biography of some eminent saint. One shall say, I am the Lord's, and that with his own mouth and his own heart. Sincere faith in God must treat all God's Word alike, and the faith which saves the soul shows itself in forsaking the habits which He condemns and in obedience to the precepts which He lays down. To confess and turn from sin is not a price we pay for salvation, for salvation is of the Lord in the planning and in the price, freely given to us in Christ Jesus, but true faith begetteth obedience, even as Noah's faith begat his fear and his obedience.

Remember also that simple faith is always the work of the Spirit. The new born life runs instinctively to grace and lives by faith, and the Spirit never takes a man off from Jesus Christ as he grows in grace, but establisheth him in his confidence in the righteousness of Christ. He never leadeth us to rest upon the work within, but pointeth us always to Jesus as the propitiation for sin. Therefore if any poor seeker hath but little faith, let him not despair. Little faith is true faith. Faith which begins and ends with Jesus is the gift of God, and Jesus himself acknowledgeth it, though he may rebuke it because it is little, he smileth upon it because it is faith. Great faith takes Jesus only as her basis, while little faith tries to add thereto, but even a trembling hand may lay hold upon a strong Christ.

Your counsel to read and study Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, and to begin in the book of John, is wise. There the divine person and finished work of the Lord Jesus shine forth most clearly, that men may see that salvation is suitable and free and all of grace. Let every seeker go to that Gospel and hear Christ himself say, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and let him cast his lost soul wholly into Jesus' hands, confessing him openly before men.

May the Lord grant to all who are now looking for salvation that they may believe with the heart unto righteousness and confess with the mouth unto salvation, and may he give them a practical, work day faith that trusteth him for daily bread and for eternal life, to the praise of his glorious grace.
