Beloved of All
For those who are looking for salvation.. Romans 10.9-10.. If you confess with your is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. Also confess and turn from your sins. Follow and obey Jesus Amen.. Read and study, Matthew, Mark, Luke, And John in the bible.. Start In the book of John.

We rejoice with you in sharing the good news of salvation and we thank you for proclaiming the truth so clearly for those who are seeking. We agree that salvation is found only through Jesus Christ and we stand together on the promise of Romans 10:9-10 that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

We also hold to what you have said about confessing and turning from sins, for true faith brings repentance and obedience. Acts 3:19 tells us Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord. And 1 John 1:9 assures us If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. To follow and obey Jesus is the evidence of a new heart, for 2 Corinthians 5:17 says Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.

We love your encouragement to read and study Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, beginning in the book of John, for there we meet Jesus Himself. John 14:6 reminds us Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And John 3:16 declares For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. There is no other way to be saved, as Acts 4:12 teaches There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Yet the invitation is open to all, for Romans 10:13 promises For, Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.

We pray together for every soul who is reading this and searching for salvation.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You and we lift up every heart that is hungry for truth and longing for forgiveness. We ask that You draw each one by Your Holy Spirit, open their eyes to see their need for a Savior, and give them faith to believe in Your Son who died for our sins and was raised from the dead. Grant them grace to confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and to believe in their heart unto righteousness. Help them to turn from their sins with godly repentance and to walk in obedience to Jesus all the days of their life. Fill them with assurance that they are forgiven and made new, and lead them as they begin to read Your Word, especially in the Gospel of John, that they may know Jesus more deeply and follow Him faithfully. We ask this in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus Christ, amen.

We appreciate you sharing this burden for people who are searching. It is clear you want others to know the hope you have found in Jesus, and to point them to Him simply and directly. That kind of care matters, and we thank God for it.

We are encouraged that you are pointing people not only to a moment of decision but to walking with Jesus day by day and getting to know Him through His Word, especially in John where His life and character are seen so clearly. Coming to faith is the beginning of a lifelong journey of being forgiven, made new, and learning to follow Him with our whole lives. It is not about having all the answers at once, but about trusting Christ and continuing to grow in grace as we walk with Him.

If the Lord has put someone specific on your heart, a simple next step can be to offer to read through John together, a chapter at a time, and to invite them to join you at a faithful local church where they can be supported and taught.

Father, thank You for Your mercy through Jesus. We pray for anyone reading these words who is seeking You, that You would draw them to Yourself and give them faith to trust Christ. Strengthen our brother or sister who shared this, and use their witness with gentleness and clarity. In Jesus name, amen.

It is a good and necessary thing that you have set forth the way of salvation so plainly, for the gospel is not hidden and the word is nigh thee. The scripture you have quoted is a precious summary, for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. There is a due order for faith and confession and there is a clear connection between them, and the result of the two put together is salvation.

To be just in the sight of God is never possible apart from faith, for the just shall live by faith. Sincere faith in God must treat all God's Word alike, and it must rest not upon our faith itself, nor upon our repentance, nor upon our prayers, but upon Jesus Christ crucified. We rest upon Him who is all our salvation, the Alpha and Omega, the Author and Finisher of faith. Simple faith is always the work of the Spirit, and it is by the Spirit that we continue to exercise it.

That faith which saves is never alone. No repentance is true but that which consorts with faith, and no faith is true but that which is linked with a hearty and sincere repentance on account of past sin. They come into the soul together, and repentance lives as long as faith. Perhaps you have the notion that repentance is a thing that happens at the commencement of the spiritual life and has to be gotten through and that is an end of it. If so, you are greatly mistaken. Towards faith it might almost be called a Siamese twin. We shall need to believe and to repent as long as we live. True repentance, the repentance which is the work of the Spirit of God and which God accepts, gives God glory. It purges the soul from dead works while faith fills the soul with living works. It pulls down what is evil and faith builds up what is holy.

This inward faith must have an outward voice, for the same things which through our faith in them are the basis of our salvation become the subject of our confession before God. That which we privately and personally rest upon for salvation we are to publicly and emphatically avow to others as the ground of our confidence. This confession of faith is personal. One shall say, I am the Lord's. His faith must be his own faith. His repentance must be repentance of his own sin. His coming to Christ must be his own coming to Christ. Nobody can perform your religion for you. Do say and say it unmistakably, I am a Christian, not because it is the fashion to do so, but because with the heart you have believed.

And where faith and repentance are truly wrought, obedience will be the gracious fruit. Faith is the morning star of obedience. When fear is grafted upon faith it bringeth forth good fruit. We do not give a secondary place to obedience. We look upon the obedience of the heart to the will of God as salvation in its fruit and evidence. Prove that you have grace by your accurate obedience. No man is really saved unless he is in his heart obedient to Christ. He never says, I will go thus far in obedience, but no further. Your obedience must be wholehearted and complete, not the obedience of a slave but the obedience of a child, the obedience of love, not of terror, the obedience of faith, not of dread. The more of faith in Him you have, the more of obedience to Him will you manifest.

Therefore to every soul that is seeking salvation I would say, confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead. Turn from your sins, for Christ was nailed to the cross for them, and trust wholly in His finished work. Follow and obey Him, beginning at home and in the secret place of the heart, believing His teaching, trusting His work and resting in His salvation.

Your counsel to read and study Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, and to start in the book of John, is wise. There you will see the Lord Jesus set forth as the Word made flesh, full of grace and truth, that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life through His name.

May the Holy Spirit work in every seeking heart so that by faith you may obey, and by obedience may show that faith is alive. May He lead you to that personal confession which is made unto salvation, and keep you in that daily repentance and faith which shall not be repented of.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

It is good to see this burden for those who are still seeking salvation, and to point them so clearly to the word of God. What you have shared from Romans 10 is the very heart of the gospel. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.

This is what Scripture calls a short word, yet it carries everything. In a few words God has placed both salvation and righteousness, not through a long circuit of works, but through faith in Christ who died and was raised for us. That faith is not empty. It includes turning from sin with godly sorrow, the sorrow that works repentance unto salvation, and a humble condemning of our own sins so that we may hasten to receive forgiveness through His one sacrifice on the cross.

To confess Him as Lord is also to obey Him. As He learned obedience through what He suffered and became the author of salvation to those who obey Him, so we are called to follow and obey Jesus, not only with our lips but with our lives, bringing forth fruits worthy of repentance.

We join you in praying for all who are seeking today, that God would open their hearts to believe, to confess Christ openly, to turn from sin, and to walk in obedience to Him. We pray that they would know that salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, and that His glory is seen when many are saved.

Your counsel to read and study Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, beginning with John, is wise. There they will meet Christ Himself, His good confession before Pilate, His teaching, His death and resurrection, and learn to rest their hope not in themselves but in Him.

May the Lord use His word to bring many to repentance, faith, and new life in Christ.
