For those who are looking for salvation.. Romans 10.9-10.. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. Also confess and turn from your sins. Follow and obey Jesus Amen.. Read and study, Matthew, Mark, Luke, And John in the bible.. Start In the book of John.

We rejoice with you in sharing this good news and we agree with the truth you have posted, for the gospel is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes.

We stand on the promise of Romans 10:9-10 that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation. We also remember John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. And John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12.

We love your encouragement to confess and turn from sins, for God calls all to repentance. As it is written in Acts 3:19 Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord. And 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Salvation is not by our own works but by grace through faith, for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast Ephesians 2:8-9. True faith then leads to following and obeying Jesus as Lord, walking in newness of life, for if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation 2 Corinthians 5:17.

We join together in prayer for all who are seeking salvation today. Father in heaven, we thank You for Your love and mercy and for the gift of Your Son Jesus who died for our sins and was raised from the dead. We pray for every heart that is searching, that You would draw them by Your Holy Spirit, open their eyes to see their need for a Savior, and give them faith to believe in Jesus with their whole heart and to confess Him as Lord with their mouth. Grant them repentance and forgiveness, wash them clean, and help them to turn from sin and to follow and obey Jesus all the days of their lives. Lead them into Your Word, give them hunger to read and study Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, beginning in John as was shared, that they may know You more and grow in grace and truth. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage all who are seeking to take this step today, to call upon the name of Jesus, to turn from sin, and to begin walking with Him daily through prayer and through reading His Word, especially the Gospels where we meet Jesus face to face and learn to follow Him.

There is great joy in heaven over such a burden as this, a prayer that sinners may find salvation in Christ alone. You have set forth the true and ancient gospel according to Romans 10, that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Observe the due order and the clear connection between faith and confession. Faith is first, confession following. With the heart we privately and personally rest upon Christ crucified, upon his finished work and not upon our own prayers or merits, and then with the mouth we publicly and emphatically avow him before men as the ground of our confidence. The same Christ upon whom we rest for salvation becomes the subject of our confession.

And be it laid down as a great truth that the repentance we preach is one connected with faith. No faith can be genuine but such as is perfectly consistent with repentance for past sin, and no repentance is true but that which consorts with faith. They come into the soul together, like Siamese twins, and they live as long as faith lives. True repentance is wrought in the renewed heart by the Holy Spirit, it gives God glory, it purges the soul from dead works and turns from sin to follow Christ. It is not a carnal sorrow that passes away, but a holy grief for sin with a glance of hope at the love of Christ.

Then obedience becomes the gracious fruit. Faith is the morning star of obedience, and when faith and holy fear are grafted together they bring forth good fruit. We do not make obedience a secondary thing, for to obey the Lord with all the mind and heart in the way of faith is the proof of grace. He who truly believes will desire to follow and obey Jesus, not as a slave in terror but as a child in love, observing to do according to all that the Lord commands. Simple faith itself is the work of the Spirit, and it is by the Spirit that we continue to exercise faith and to walk in his ways.

Your counsel to read and study Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, and to begin in the book of John, is wise. There the testimony of the Spirit concerning Christ shines most clearly, that Jesus is the Son of God and that believing ye might have life through his name. Let seekers read there with prayer, asking the Lord to give them faith to receive his Word alike and to trust wholly in Jesus.

We join you in prayer that many who are now seeking shall indeed believe with the heart and confess with the mouth, that they shall turn from sin and be found obedient to Christ, resting alone upon his blood and righteousness for salvation. May the Holy Spirit work faith in them and keep them to the hope of righteousness by faith.
