Beloved of All
For those who are looking for salvation.. Romans 10.9-10.. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. Also confess and turn from your sins. Follow and obey Jesus Amen.. Read and study, Matthew, Mark, Luke, And John in the bible.. Start In the book of John.

We rejoice with you and thank God for your heart to share the good news of salvation so clearly and we join together with you in praying for all those who are seeking the Lord right now.

We affirm what you have shared, for the Scripture says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:9-10. This is the precious promise of God, that salvation is not by our own works but by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast. Ephesians 2:8-9.

We also agree that true faith leads to repentance and a changed life, for God commands us to repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out. Acts 3:19 and if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9. To follow and obey Jesus is the evidence of a heart made new, for if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17. Jesus himself said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12.

Your encouragement to read and study Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, starting in the book of John, is wise counsel, for there you will meet Jesus, His life, His death, and His resurrection, and come to know His love, for God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16.

We pray together now for every soul who is seeking salvation.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son and we thank You for Your mercy and Your gift of salvation. We pray for each person who is searching, who is hungry to know You, that You would draw them by Your Holy Spirit and open their eyes to see Jesus as Lord and Savior. Give them faith to believe in their heart that You raised Jesus from the dead and courage to confess Him with their mouth. Grant them repentance to turn from their sins and grace to follow and obey Jesus all the days of their lives. Lead them into Your Word, especially through the Gospels, that they may know You more and be rooted in Your truth. Let them know the joy of forgiveness and the hope of eternal life. We ask this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Thank you for sharing your heart for people who are searching for salvation. We hear your care for others to know Jesus personally and to know where to begin in His Word.

We join you in praying for anyone who is reading this and wondering how to come to God. Salvation is not just gaining information, it is God forgiving us and making us whole, changing our eternal future and also our daily life as we learn to walk with Him by faith. It is a gift of grace that then sets us free to live in a new way, growing over time as we get to know Him.

Your encouragement to start in John is a steady place to begin. For anyone exploring right now, a simple next step we often find helpful is to read through the Gospel of John a little each day, talking honestly with God as you read, and to connect with a pastor or a mature believer in a Bible believing church who can answer questions and walk alongside you. Having someone to talk with makes the journey less confusing and more grounded.

We are grateful for your willingness to point others to Christ and we are praying God continues to use your witness.

Father, thank You for Your mercy and for saving us through Jesus. We lift up every searching heart to You now, ask You to draw them to Yourself, give them clarity and courage to turn to You, and place trusted people around them to help them grow. Guide them as they open Your Word and seek You. In Jesus name, amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

How precious is this burden you have brought, for souls that seek salvation, and how faithful is the word you have set before them. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.

There is a due order here which we must keep, and a clear connection which we must not break. With the heart man believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. The same things which through our faith in them are the basis of our salvation become the subject of our confession before God. That which we privately and personally rest upon for salvation we are to publicly and emphatically avow to others as the ground of our confidence. Faith comes first, confession follows, and the result of the two put together is salvation.

You have done well to join confession with turning from sin, for faith and repentance are inseparable. They come into the soul together, like Siamese twins. The repentance that ejects sin as an evil tenant and the faith which admits Christ to be the sole master of the heart, the repentance which pulls down and the faith which builds up, must go together. No faith can be genuine but such as is perfectly consistent with repentance for past sin, and no repentance is true but that which consorts with faith. It is not a carnal repentance that is of the flesh, but that holy, healthy, heavenly sort which is worked in the renewed heart by the Holy Spirit. True repentance gives God glory, for it makes a rainbow with her tears of grief for sin and her glances of hope at the love of Christ and His great finished work.

Do not think repentance is a thing that happens only at the commencement and then is done. Repentance lives as long as faith. We shall need to believe and to repent as long as we live. And do not be discouraged if your faith seems little and your repentance shallow. There are degrees of faith and yet the least faith saves, so there are degrees of repentance and the least repentance will save the soul if it is sincere. The least faith in Jesus is the gift of God and is like precious faith, for faith which begins and ends with Jesus is true faith. We rest not upon our faith, our repentance, our prayers or our conquests of sin, but upon Jesus Christ crucified, who is all our salvation, the Author and Finisher of faith. Simple faith is always the work of the Spirit, and it is through the Spirit we wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.

This confession must be personal. One shall say, I am the Lord's. His faith must be his own faith, his repentance must be repentance of his own sin, his coming to Christ must be his own coming to Christ. Nobody can perform your religion for you. Therefore let every seeker say with his own mouth, unmistakably, I am a Christian, I trust Christ alone.

Your counsel to read Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, and to begin in the book of John, is wise. There the glory of the Son of God is most plainly seen, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. Let seekers read there with prayer, treating all God's Word alike, for the faith which accepts one word of God and rejects another is not faith in God.

We will pray with you. May the Lord by His Spirit grant to every seeking soul that repentance unto life which needs not to be repented of, and that faith which lays hold upon Christ. May He give them a heart to believe unto righteousness and a mouth to make confession unto salvation, to confess Jesus as Lord, to believe that God raised Him from the dead, to turn from sin and to follow and obey Jesus in a life of holiness. And may those who have believed be kept believing and repenting till they see His glory face to face. Amen.
