Beloved of All
For those who are looking for salvation.. Romans 10.9-10.. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. Also confess and turn from your sins. Follow and obey Jesus Amen.. Read and study, Matthew, Mark, Luke, And John in the bible.. Start In the book of John.

We rejoice in your desire to share the message of salvation, for it is the most precious gift God offers to humanity. Indeed, the Scriptures declare, "For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved" (Romans 10:10 WEB). This is the foundation of our faith, confessing Jesus as Lord and believing in His resurrection from the dead.

However, we must also emphasize that salvation is not merely a one-time confession but the beginning of a transformed life. Jesus Himself said, "If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me" (Matthew 16:24 WEB). True faith produces repentance, a turning away from sin, and a commitment to follow Christ in obedience. Without this, our confession may be empty words.

To those seeking salvation, we urge you to examine your heart. Have you truly repented of your sins? Have you surrendered your life to Jesus as Lord, not just Savior? The Bible warns, "Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven" (Matthew 7:21 WEB). Salvation is by grace through faith, but faith without works is dead (James 2:17 WEB).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. We lift up those who are seeking You, asking that You would draw them by Your Holy Spirit. Lord, open their eyes to see their need for a Savior, soften their hearts to receive Your truth, and grant them the courage to confess Jesus as Lord. May they turn from their sins and walk in newness of life, following You all the days of their lives.

Father, we rebuke any deception that would tell them salvation is merely a prayer or a ticket to heaven without a change of heart. We pray against the lies of the enemy that would keep them bound in sin or false assurance. May they truly understand that salvation is found in no other name but Jesus (Acts 4:12 WEB), and may they commit to studying Your Word, starting with the Gospel of John, to know You more deeply.

We ask that You surround them with godly believers who can disciple them and encourage them in their faith. Strengthen them to resist temptation and to live lives that honor You. May they grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, to Your glory. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

To those reading this, we encourage you to take the next step. If you have confessed Jesus as Lord, find a Bible-believing church where you can be baptized, study the Word, and grow in fellowship with other believers. If you are still exploring, we invite you to read the Gospel of John with an open heart and ask God to reveal Himself to you. He promises, "Seek, and you will find" (Matthew 7:7 WEB). Your journey with Christ begins today, walk in it faithfully.

We're with you in this prayer. It moves us that you're lifting up those who are still searching, holding out the very words of life they need to hear.

Something beautiful happens when we pray like this: we start to see the people around us differently. The coworker who seems distant, the neighbor who's been hurt by church, the family member who's wandered, our prayers have a way of softening our own hearts toward them first. So while we join you in asking God to draw seekers to Himself, we're also asking Him to make us the kind of people who are safe to approach with honest questions.

You've already pointed them toward a wonderful starting place, the Gospel of John. That quiet invitation to "come and see" is still how Jesus works. Sometimes all it takes is offering to read a few verses together over coffee, no pressure, just curiosity. You might be surprised who's been waiting for someone to ask.

Let's keep lifting them up.

Lord Jesus, You promised that the one who comes to You will never be cast out. We bring before You every person who is straining toward the light, even if they don't yet have words for what they're seeking. Quiet the voices of accusation and confusion. Let them see You as You really are, gentle, truthful, and full of grace. Give our friend opportunities this week to listen well, to share hope simply, and to trust Your Spirit to do what only You can. Protect and guide every seeker until they rest in You. Amen.

The soul that truly seeks salvation must look away from itself to the finished work of Christ. You quote the apostle’s words: “If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” That is the very gospel. Yet take heed that your confession is not an empty sound, and that your belief is not a mere notion of the head. With the heart man believeth unto righteousness; that faith is no faith at all which does not bring with it a hearty loathing of sin and a turning from it. Repentance and faith are born together, and they live together until we cross the threshold of glory. That repentance which gives God the glory, which breaks the heart because sin has offended so good a Father, is the gift of his grace. You need not bring a tidy repentance or a mighty faith as a condition of salvation, for if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, it is true faith, and it lays hold of Christ, who is all your salvation. The least sincere faith saves, because it unites you to a mighty Saviour. Do not look at your tears or your prayers, but at Jesus, who is the Author and Finisher of faith.

Your desire to read the Holy Scriptures, beginning with the Evangelists, is wisdom itself. Search the Gospels, and there you will meet the Friend of sinners in every page, until your heart burns within you like the disciples on the road to Emmaus. The outward confession with the mouth is precious, but it must spring from a personal, conscious faith within. No man can believe for you, and no sponsor can confess for you; you must come yourself to the Lord Jesus, just as you are, empty-handed and undeserving. Speak out that confession when the Spirit prompts you; let it be an unmistakable, “I am the Lord’s.” Yet do not rest upon your words, as though they added any merit, for it is through the Spirit that we wait for the hope of righteousness by faith. The same Spirit who gives you faith will enable you to avow it, whether by a bold tongue or a trembling pen. Fear not your weakness; the Lord Jesus is tender with the lambs of his flock, and he will perfect that which concerneth you. Look to him this very hour, and you shall find that repentance and remission of sins are preached in his name, freely offered to every seeking soul.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have rightly set forth the path of salvation, for it is indeed a short word that holds all: if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. This confession is not a mere utterance of the lips; it must spring from a heart truly persuaded that He lives and reigns. For knowledge of Him comes by faith alone. Reason cannot demonstrate the resurrection; only faith can grasp it, and that same faith works righteousness in you.

But let no one imagine that faith is barren of works. If you truly believe that Christ is risen, you will be conformed to His death. You will not shrink from suffering for His name, for the fellowship of His sufferings is the very seal of your faith. As you turn from sin and follow Him, you walk the road He walked, dying to sin and living unto God. This is not something far off; begin now. Read the holy Gospels, especially John, that you may behold the Word made flesh, and let your confession be steadfast. Hold fast to that profession, for our High Priest has passed into the heavens and lives forever. And remember, blessed are those who have not seen, yet have believed. The resurrection is the cornerstone; if you believe it, you will order your whole life in its light, obeying His commands and awaiting His Son from heaven, who delivers us from the wrath to come.

There is no more urgent hope to carry before the throne of grace than that sinners would find eternal life in Christ. The verses you have shared from Romans 10 are a radiant beacon, the promise that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. That is the unshakable, glorious reality. Salvation is not a distant prize to be earned but a gift received by faith the moment you turn from self-trust and rest entirely in the finished work of Jesus.

Yet we must hold firmly to the truth that this faith stands alone as the instrument of our justification. The moment anyone adds human effort or law-keeping as a requirement for being right with God, the good news ceases to be good. It becomes another gospel, which is no gospel at all. Paul withstood even respected leaders to preserve the purity of that message, salvation through faith in Christ, apart from works. God purifies hearts by faith, not by what we do. When you first believed, you received the Holy Spirit not because you had earned his presence but because you heard and trusted the word of grace.

What then about turning from sin and obeying Jesus? Those are not add‑ons that complete your faith; they are the inevitable fruit of a faith that is alive. True faith works. As a healthy tree bears good fruit, so a heart that genuinely submits to the Lordship of Jesus will produce a changed life. That change, repentance in practice, a desire to follow his commands, is the evidence that the root is real, not the payment that secures its life. So when a person cries out to God, the faith that saves is always accompanied by a turning away from sin, but that turning is not a work performed to make oneself acceptable. It is the natural response of someone who has seen the risen King.

Because faith comes by hearing, and hearing through the word of God, I am so glad you are directing people to the Scriptures. Start with the Gospel of John, as you have said. There the Son of God steps forward in undeniable clarity, offering life to all who believe in his name. As you read, let the record of his signs and his words plant deep confidence that Jesus is the Messiah, the Lamb who takes away the sin of the world. Miracles do not create saving faith; the living voice of God in the gospel does that. So press into those chapters, pray for open hearts, and trust the Spirit to bring many from death to life.

For those you are lifting up, those looking for salvation, here is the simplicity: Jesus Christ has done everything necessary. He lived the righteous life you could not live, died under the judgment you deserved, and rose again triumphant. God now calls every one of us to stop striving, to lay down our empty religious efforts, and to receive with the empty hands of faith the forgiveness he freely offers. No one will be saved by trying harder; we are saved by relying wholly on him. And when faith takes hold of Christ, it transforms everything, our loves, our choices, our very being, not to earn the gift but to enjoy and display the Giver.

So let us join our prayers together: Father, for every soul searching for truth today, let your word run swiftly. Reveal Jesus as the way, the truth, and the life. Grant them the faith that is the substance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. May they confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord, not as empty words but as the overflow of hearts that believe you raised him from the dead. And as they rise to walk in newness of life, may their transformed lives become a living testimony to the grace in which they stand. Amen.
