Beloved of All
For those who are looking for salvation.. Romans 10.9-10.. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. Also confess and turn from your sins. Follow and obey Jesus Amen.. Read and study, Matthew, Mark, Luke, And John in the bible.. Start In the book of John.

We rejoice that the Holy Spirit is drawing hearts to seek salvation through Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). The Scripture you shared from Romans 10:9-10 is indeed the very foundation of our faith, confessing with our mouths that Jesus is Lord and believing in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead. This is not merely intellectual assent but a surrender of the entire heart to the Lordship of Christ.

Yet we must also emphasize that true repentance involves turning away from sin, for Jesus Himself said, "Unless you repent, you will all likewise perish" (Luke 13:3). Salvation is not a one-time prayer alone but a lifelong commitment to follow Christ, walking in obedience to His Word. The call to discipleship is clear: "If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me" (Luke 9:23).

We encourage you to read the Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, as you mentioned, for they reveal the life, teachings, death, and resurrection of our Savior. Begin in the book of John, as it beautifully declares Christ’s divinity and His offer of eternal life to all who believe in Him (John 3:16). But do not stop there, immerse yourself in the entire Word of God, for it is "living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword" (Hebrews 4:12), transforming us from glory to glory.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your mercy and grace. We lift up those who are seeking salvation, who are being drawn by Your Spirit to the foot of the cross. Lord, we ask that You would open their eyes to see their need for a Savior, that You would soften their hearts to receive Your truth, and that You would grant them the gift of faith to believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

We pray that they would not only confess with their mouths but also turn from their sins, forsaking all that displeases You. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in newness of life, no longer slaves to sin but alive in Christ. Strengthen them to follow Jesus wholeheartedly, to study Your Word, and to grow in the knowledge of Your will.

Father, we rebuke every lie of the enemy that would seek to keep them in bondage, whether it be doubt, fear, or the deception that they can earn their salvation. We declare that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. May they experience the fullness of Your love and the power of Your resurrection in their lives.

We pray for a mighty outpouring of Your Spirit upon them, that they may be born again, not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the living and abiding word of God (1 Peter 1:23). May they become bold witnesses for Christ, sharing the good news of salvation with others.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

To those reading this, if you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today. The Bible says, "Behold, now is the favorable time; behold, now is the day of salvation" (2 Corinthians 6:2). Do not delay, confess your sins, believe in Jesus, and commit your life to following Him. If you have just made this decision, we rejoice with you! We encourage you to find a Bible-believing church where you can grow in your faith, be baptized, and be discipled in the ways of the Lord.

May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine upon you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). Go forth in the power of the Holy Spirit, living a life that honors God in all you do.

We love the simple, direct way you’re pointing others to the heart of the gospel. It takes real courage and compassion to be that clear, and what you’ve shared here is already a beautiful expression of the very faith you’re describing, a heart that truly believes and a mouth that isn’t ashamed to confess. That’s no small thing.

Your practical guidance to start reading in the Gospel of John is a perfect next step. We’ve seen over the years how that particular book meets so many people right where they are, with its clear focus on who Jesus is and the life he offers. It’s like a well-lit doorway for a seeking heart. We stand with you in exactly that encouragement, and we’re grateful for your faithful witness.

Thank you for letting us share in this prayer with you.

Jesus, thank you for every person whose eyes are opening to you, even now. Draw them through the words of John’s Gospel into real, transforming faith. Protect the simple truth your servant has proclaimed today, and keep the message clear and powerful. And thank you for the willing spirit who sent this request, give them continued boldness and a deep joy in seeing others come alive in you. Amen.

The soul that is seeking salvation must begin with this firm truth: salvation is all of grace, through faith in Jesus Christ, and that faith is never alone, it is inseparably wedded to true repentance. You have quoted Romans 10, and I bid you treasure those words: with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. But mark well, the believing heart and the confessing tongue must be joined with a repentance that gives God glory. Many a man hath a repentance after a fashion, born of terror or mere self-love, which never turns from sin nor leans upon Christ, and this is but a carnal repentance that needeth to be repented of. The repentance that is unto life is the gift of God, a tear of grief for sin mingled with a hopeful glance at the love of Christ and His great finished work. So, let none imagine that deep agonies or bitter anguish are required as payment for pardon; the feeblest sincere repentance and the smallest grain of living faith will save the soul, if only they be genuine.

Yet, dear heart, do not think repentance a single act done at the gate of the kingdom, never to be known again. Repentance and faith are twins; they live as long as faith liveth, and they sweeten the whole pilgrimage. It is a blessed thing to be always coming to Christ as a sinner, even as His child, trusting nothing in self but all in His blood and righteousness. And when faith bursteth forth into open confession, it confirmeth the soul’s assurance. I charge thee, speak for Jesus; let the mouth declare what the heart believeth. A silent faith is a contradicted faith. Yet if thou art timid, remember that the confession which is scribbled on a paper, or whispered in an earnest word to one faithful friend, is precious in God’s sight. He judgeth not by the loudness of the voice, but by the love that prompteth it.

Above all, look away from thy own faith, thy own repentance, thine own obedience, straight to Christ crucified. He is all thy salvation. The Holy Spirit worketh faith and repentance by drawing thee to Jesus, not to thine own frames and feelings. Hast thou the very feeblest faith? It is the Spirit’s work. Dost thou mourn a heart too hard? Ask Him to pour the softening grace upon thee. Wait on Him in the Word, especially those holy Gospels, and thy soul shall find liberty. The Lord bless thee and keep thee, and give thee no rest until thou dost rest wholly in Christ.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have set forth the very path of salvation, grounding it in the Apostle’s words: if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. This is no empty formula, but a living reality that must take hold of every part of your soul. True confession springs from a heart that has already turned away from sin; for how can the tongue proclaim Christ as Lord while the will remains in rebellion? Repentance goes before faith, just as John the Baptist came preaching a baptism of repentance so that people might see their own wounds and hurry to the Physician. That sorrow for sin is not meant to crush you, but to humble you and make you cling desperately to His mercy. Godly sorrow works repentance unto salvation, a salvation you will never regret.

But consider what this confession and belief require. First give yourself to the Lord, not with a partial offering, but entirely, your mind, your desires, your habits. You cannot keep back any darling sin, for the same mouth that confesses Jesus as Lord must also be cleansed from deceit, slander, and impurity. Study the Gospels as you resolve to do, beginning with John, and you will see how Jesus Himself made the good confession before Pilate, testifying to the truth. See there the pattern of the obedience He asks: a life that receives Him with fear and trembling, not only in initial enthusiasm but in a steady, daily submission to His commands. This is not earning His favor, but living out the reality of your confession.

Examine yourself, then, whether your seeking is a fleeting impulse or a deep, determined flight from wrath to grace. The heart that believes unto righteousness will prove its sincerity by breaking off sin, by obeying the words of Christ, and by walking in the light. Do not rest in saying you believe while your deeds deny Him. Read the holy Gospels, and as you read, pray that the Word may expose every hidden fault and lead you to the cross. There alone is remission and new life. Go forward in this way, and you will find that He who promised salvation to those who confess and believe is faithful, and He will complete the work you are now beginning.
