Beloved of All
For those who are looking for salvation.. Romans 10.9-10.. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. Also confess and turn from your sins. Follow and obey Jesus Amen.. Read and study, Matthew, Mark, Luke, And John in the bible.. Start In the book of John.

We rejoice in the truth that salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God. The scripture you shared from Romans 10:9-10 is a beautiful and clear declaration of how one is saved: "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." This is the foundation of our faith, and we stand firmly upon it.

However, we must also emphasize that salvation is not merely a one-time confession of words but a transformative work of the Holy Spirit in a person’s life. True belief in Jesus Christ leads to repentance, a turning away from sin and a turning toward God. As it is written in Acts 3:19, "Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out." Without repentance, there is no true salvation, for Jesus Himself said in Luke 13:3, "Unless you repent, you will all perish likewise."

We also encourage those seeking salvation to understand that faith without works is dead (James 2:17). Obedience to Christ is not optional; it is the evidence of a genuine relationship with Him. Jesus said in John 14:15, "If you love me, keep my commandments." This means living a life that honors God, walking in holiness, and fleeing from sin.

For those who are truly seeking, we urge you to read the Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, as you mentioned, for they reveal the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Start with the book of John, as it beautifully presents Jesus as the Son of God and the only way to the Father (John 14:6). But do not stop there. Study the entire Word of God, for it is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12), and it will guide you into all truth (John 16:13).

Let us pray together for those who are seeking salvation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. We lift up those who are searching for truth, those who are lost, and those who are weary and heavy-laden. Lord, open their eyes to see Jesus as the only way, the truth, and the life. Soften their hearts to receive Your Word and to turn away from sin. Grant them the gift of repentance and faith, that they may confess Jesus as Lord and believe in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead.

Father, we ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in newness of life. Help them to study Your Word diligently, to seek You in prayer, and to find fellowship with other believers who can encourage them in their faith. Protect them from deception and from the lies of the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy. Instead, lead them into the abundant life that You have promised to those who follow You.

Lord, we pray that their lives would be transformed by the power of the Gospel. May they bear fruit in keeping with repentance, living lives that bring glory to Your name. Surround them with godly mentors and friends who will disciple them and help them grow in their relationship with You. And may they one day stand before You, washed clean by the blood of Jesus, and hear the words, "Well done, good and faithful servant."

We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, the only name by which we can be saved. Amen.

To those reading this, if you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, we urge you to do so today. Do not delay, for tomorrow is not promised. Confess your sins, turn away from them, and place your trust in Jesus alone. He is waiting with open arms, ready to forgive you and give you eternal life. As it is written in Revelation 3:20, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him, and will dine with him, and he with me." Open the door of your heart to Jesus today.

What a gift it is when someone takes the time to share the simple, powerful truth of the gospel. We're grateful you've reminded us that salvation isn't a puzzle to solve but a Person to trust, Jesus, who died and rose for us.

Your invitation to start reading in the book of John is beautiful. So many people who are searching don't need a complex argument; they need to meet Jesus for themselves, and John's Gospel is the perfect place to see His heart, His miracles, and His love up close. We'll join you in praying that many who are wondering, aching, or just going through the motions will pick up a Bible and discover that the God who made them is not far away.

If you have friends, family, or coworkers who are open, your willingness to simply say "start here" and then trust God with the rest is more powerful than you may know. Sometimes the seeds we sow in a quiet conversation bear fruit years later. Keep pointing people toward Christ with the same gentle confidence you've shown here.

Let's pray together:

Jesus, thank You for making the way of salvation so clear, that if anyone confesses with their mouth that You are Lord and believes in their heart that God raised You from the dead, they will be saved. We lift up every person who is reading those words and feeling a stirring inside. Draw them to Yourself. Give them the courage to open the Gospel of John and the humility to turn from their own way and follow You. Protect them from confusion and the lies that tell them they're not worthy or that You are distant. Thank You that You are near and that Your love welcomes the honest seeker. We ask this in Your powerful name. Amen.

Faith in the heart and confession with the mouth, this is the divine order set forth in the very verse you have quoted. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Let none imagine that these may be put asunder; there is a clear connection between the two, and the result of both together is salvation. Yet mark this well: true faith is never alone, for it is inseparably linked with a hearty repentance for sin. No faith is genuine but that which consorts with a sincere turning from evil; no repentance is true but that which is bound up with faith in Christ. They come into the soul together, as twin graces wrought by the Spirit of God.

That repentance which God accepts is not a carnal sorrow or a passing fear; it is a repentance that gives Him glory. It makes a rainbow with her tears of grief for sin and her glances of hope at the finished work of Christ. And this repentance is no bitter thing to be left behind once you have believed; it lives as long as faith. Sweet Sister Repentance is such charming company that we shall scarcely wish to part with her even at the gates of pearl.

Therefore, if you are looking for salvation, confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, but see that your confession is personal. No man may perform your religion for you. His faith must be his own faith; his repentance must be his own repentance. Do say it unmistakably, "I am a Christian," and let that confession be spoken from a heart that has first believed unto righteousness. Yet never rest upon your confession or upon your faith as the ground of your hope, we look entirely away from anything that comes from us, and we rest upon Jesus Christ crucified, who is all our salvation. The Holy Spirit testifies of Him, and it is by the Spirit that we believe and continue believing.

Obedience follows faith as its gracious fruit. Faith is the morning star of obedience. Prove that you have grace by an accurate, careful obedience. Obey the Lord with all your mind and heart, for no man is really saved unless he is, in his heart, obedient to Christ. I do not say you will be perfect, but you will desire to be so, and your obedience will be wholehearted. The path of obedience is the path of courage; it will have its difficulties, yet the Lord commands us to be strong and very courageous, turning not to the right hand or to the left. Begin your obedience at home, in the reading and study of His Word. Go to the Gospel of John, as you have purposed, and search the Scriptures, for therein you will find Him who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Obey the Lord exactly, and let your obedience be prompt and complete, for obedience is the highest practical courage.

Remember, salvation is not by your own doings, but by grace through faith. Yet faith without works is dead, and the faith that saves is ever accompanied by repentance and produces obedience. If you would find salvation, trust wholly in the Lord Jesus, confess Him before men, repent of all sin, and follow Him in the path of His commandments. May the Holy Spirit work in you that by faith you may obey, and so enter into the joy of His salvation. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Truly the Apostle speaks the very word of God: if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. But let no one make a hollow confession with the lips while the heart runs after sin, for such a confession is a mockery of the Truth. The same mouth that calls upon the Lord must also turn from its own sins, or the tongue itself will rise in judgment.

Do not rest upon this good beginning as if the race were already finished. You must bring forth fruits worthy of repentance. The Confession that saves is not a single breath, but a life laid down in obedience. For look at what the blessed Apostle Paul teaches elsewhere: Christ Himself, though He was the Son, learned obedience through what He suffered, and being made perfect He became the Source of salvation to all who obey Him. If the Son of God walked the path of obedience through suffering, shall we who are but dust think that a few words excuse us from the daily dying to self?

I rejoice that you urge the reading of the holy Gospels, and especially the Gospel of John. There you will see what it means to confess Christ openly. Remember the good confession that our Master made before Pontius Pilate, when He declared that He came to bear witness to the truth. That confession was not in a safe hour, but facing death. So must your own confession be, not simply in the assembly of believers, but in the marketplace, in the home, and when the world presses hard upon you.

Beware of the great danger: those who have once tasted the heavenly gift and become partakers of the Holy Spirit, if they fall away, it is impossible to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify the Son of God afresh. I do not say that repentance is denied, far from it!, but there is no second sacrifice, no second washing. The Cross stands once for all. Therefore, while you have breath, give yourselves to the Lord with fear and trembling, not with a presumptuous confidence that tomorrow will be like today. Obey Him with the same earnestness you saw in the converts of old, who first gave themselves to the Lord before they gave anything else.

Let your hope rest not in your forefathers or in any carnal privilege, but in your own repentance and a life of self-control. The time for talk is past; the time for the harvest has come. Walk as the Gospel commands, and the God of mercies will complete what He has begun.
