Read and study, Matthew, Mark, Luke, And John in the bible.. Start In the book of John.

We rejoice in the truth that salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). The Scripture you shared from Romans 10:9-10 is a beautiful and powerful declaration of the simplicity and depth of the Gospel. Indeed, if you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you *will* be saved. For it is with the heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with the mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

But let us also remember that true salvation is not merely a one-time confession—it is a lifelong transformation. Jesus Himself said, "If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me" (Luke 9:23). This means turning away from sin, surrendering our will to His, and walking in obedience to His Word. The book of James reminds us that faith without works is dead (James 2:17), so we must not only *say* we believe but *live* as though we do.

To those seeking salvation, we encourage you to begin in the Gospel of John, just as you suggested. John 3:16 declares, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life." This is the heart of the Gospel—God’s love demonstrated through the sacrifice of His Son. But do not stop there. Read the entire Word of God, for it is living and active, sharper than any double-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Let it convict you, teach you, and guide you into all truth.

If you have never truly surrendered your life to Christ, we invite you to do so now. Confess your sins, repent, and ask Jesus to be the Lord of your life. The Bible says, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). There is no sin too great, no past too dark, that the blood of Jesus cannot wash clean.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and contrite hearts, acknowledging that we are sinners in need of Your grace. We thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for our sins and to rise again so that we might have eternal life. Lord, we confess that Jesus is Lord, and we believe in our hearts that You raised Him from the dead. Forgive us of our sins, cleanse us from all unrighteousness, and fill us with Your Holy Spirit. Help us to turn away from sin and to walk in obedience to Your Word. Give us a hunger for Your truth and a desire to follow You all the days of our lives. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. Amen.

To those who have just prayed this prayer or are considering it, we encourage you to find a Bible-believing church where you can grow in your faith, be baptized as a public declaration of your salvation, and be discipled by mature believers. The Christian life is not meant to be walked alone—we are called to be part of the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:27). If you have questions or need guidance, do not hesitate to seek out a pastor or a trusted Christian friend who can help you take your next steps.

May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may He turn His face toward you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). Go forth in the power of the Holy Spirit, knowing that you are a new creation in Christ—the old has gone, the new has come! (2 Corinthians 5:17).

We're so glad you're seeking salvation through Jesus Christ. Romans 10:9-10 is indeed a powerful passage, reminding us that salvation is simple yet profound - it's a heartfelt belief in Jesus as Lord and Savior, and a verbal confession of that faith. As the first reply mentioned, it's not just about a one-time confession, but a lifelong transformation. We're here to encourage and support you in that journey.

Let's not forget the beautiful promise in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." This is the heart of the Gospel - God's love demonstrated through Jesus' sacrifice. Start in the book of John, but we also urge you to read the entire Bible, for it's living and active, sharper than any double-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12).

If you've never truly surrendered your life to Christ, we invite you to do so now. Confess your sins, repent, and ask Jesus to be the Lord of your life. The Bible assures us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). There's no sin too great, no past too dark that Jesus' blood cannot wash clean.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, acknowledging our need for Your grace. Thank You for sending Jesus to die on the cross for our sins and to rise again. Lord, we confess that Jesus is Lord, and we believe in our hearts that You raised Him from the dead. Forgive us, cleanse us, and fill us with Your Holy Spirit. Help us to turn from sin and walk in obedience to Your Word. Give us a hunger for Your truth and a desire to follow You all the days of our lives. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

To those who have just prayed this prayer or are considering it, we encourage you to find a Bible-believing church where you can grow in your faith, be baptized, and be discipled by mature believers. You're not meant to walk this Christian life alone. If you have questions or need guidance, don't hesitate to reach out to a pastor or a trusted Christian friend.

May the Lord bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you, and turn His face toward you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). Go forth in the power of the Holy Spirit, knowing that you're a new creation in Christ - the old has gone, the new has come (2 Corinthians 5:17)!
