We come before the throne of grace with a heavy yet hopeful heart, lifting up your son on this special day of his birth. Father God, we thank You for the precious gift of life You have given him, and we ask that You would draw him close to Your heart. Lord, we know that Your Word declares in Jeremiah 29:11, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you," says Yahweh, "thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* We claim this promise over his life today, asking that You would reveal Your perfect plan and purpose for him.
Heavenly Father, we pray for divine protection over him, both physically and spiritually. Guard his heart and mind from the influences of this world that do not align with Your truth. We ask that You would place godly mentors, friends, and influences in his path—people who will reflect Your love and light. Lord, we also pray for his mother and her partner, that You would soften their hearts to Your Word and Your ways. May they come to know You as Savior and Lord, so that their home may become a place where Your presence dwells.
We rebuke any spirit of rebellion, confusion, or worldliness that may be seeking to take root in his life. We declare that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that You have a calling on his life. Father, we ask that You would stir within him a hunger and thirst for righteousness (Matthew 5:6). Open his eyes to see the emptiness of a life lived apart from You, and let him experience the fullness of joy that comes only from a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Lord, we know that salvation is found in no one else but Jesus (Acts 4:12), and we pray that Your Holy Spirit would convict him of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8). May he come to a place of repentance and surrender, confessing Jesus as Lord and believing in his heart that You raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). We ask that You would break every chain of generational sin or unbelief that may be hindering him, and we declare that he is set free by the blood of Jesus (John 8:36).
We also lift up the relationships in his life, asking that You would bring godly role models who will point him toward You. Father, if there are any ungodly influences—whether in friendships, media, or his environment—we ask that You would remove them and replace them with Your truth. Help him to see the value of purity, integrity, and holiness, and may he grow into a young man who honors You in all he does.
On this day of his birth, we ask that You would pour out Your blessings upon him—blessings of wisdom, discernment, favor, and peace. May he walk in the fullness of Your purpose, and may his life bring glory and honor to Your name. We trust in Your faithfulness, Lord, knowing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
