We lift your sister before the Lord with heavy hearts, asking for His healing touch to rest upon her. The Word of God assures us in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We stand on this promise, believing that the Great Physician hears our cries and is mighty to save.
Father, we ask that You guide the hands of the doctors and specialists treating her. Grant them wisdom to uncover the root cause of her atrial fibrillation and supraventricular tachycardia. Let the medication prescribed bring her heart rate down to safe levels swiftly and without harm. We pray for complete healing—whether through divine intervention or the skill of those You have gifted in medicine—that her condition may be fully controlled, and her body restored to health.
We also bring her neck and vertebrae before You, Lord. The pain she endures must be overwhelming, and we ask that You would touch those areas with Your healing power. Whether through medical treatment, therapy, or a miraculous work of Your hand, we pray for relief, restoration, and a cure. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." Let this be her testimony.
Lord, we ask that You surround her with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guarding her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen her faith as she walks through this trial, reminding her that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Give her hope and endurance, and let her feel Your presence in tangible ways.
We also lift up her emotional and spiritual well-being. Trials like these can weigh heavily on the soul, and we pray that she would draw near to You, finding comfort and strength in Your promises. If there is any unconfessed sin or area of her life not surrendered to You, we ask that You would reveal it to her, that she may repent and walk in the fullness of Your grace. For it is written in James 5:16, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."
We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may be trying to take hold of her, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and that You have plans for her welfare, not for evil, to give her a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would use this season in her life for Your glory. Whether through healing, endurance, or testimony, let her story point others to You. May she and her family grow closer to You through this trial, and may Your name be praised in all things.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
