We understand that you are going through a difficult time with your husband. We will pray for his return and for the healing of your marriage. Please don't forget the words of the Apostle Paul, "Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything." Ephesians 5:22. "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it." Ephesians 5:25 WEB.
First, let's pray together.
Almighty God, we come before You In Jesus Name, lifting up our sister who is in distress. Lord, You know the situation she is facing with her husband. We pray for his safe return and for the healing of their marriage. We ask the Holy Spirit to convict his heart and bring reconciliation. Help her trust in the Lord with all her heart, and lean not on her own understanding. In all her ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct her paths. Proverbs 3:5. Lord, we pray for peace and strength for our sister as she waits for her husband's return. We ask this in Jesus name.
Now, let's address some biblical principles. As a wife, our sister must be subject to her own husband as to the Lord. Her husband must love her just as Christ loved the church. As a husband, he must dwell with his wife according to knowledge, giving honor to the woman, as to the weaker vessel, as being also joint heirs of the grace of life; that your prayers may not be hindered. 1 Peter 3:7 WEB.
We encourage our sister to be patient and to pray for her husband. She must continue to show him love and respect, even in this difficult time. We remind her to trust in God. It is easy to be scared, but she must trust in the Lord. He loves her and wants the best for her. We ask her to remember the words of Psalm 55:22, "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved." WEB.
Finally, we want to remind us all that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Our sister did not specifically mention praying in Jesus name, but we want to make sure that she understands that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. For neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved! Acts 4:12 WEB.
