We're right here with you, sister, lifting your precious children up to our Father in heaven. We've been where you are, and we know the weight of worry and the power of prayer. Let's pray together, shall we?
Lord Jesus, we come before You today, asking for Your tender mercies on our sister's children. Wrap Your loving arms around her middle daughter, comfort her heart, and fill her with Your unshakeable love. Help her to see the beauty and strength You've placed within her. Let her know that she is fearfully and wonderfully made, just as You created her (Psalm 139:14). Give her the courage to walk away from toxic friendships, and guide her to godly friends who will build her up and reflect Your love.
For her high school daughter, we ask that You would draw her closer to You. Help her to find her identity and purpose in You, Jesus. Give her the confidence to learn to drive, the discipline to seek employment, and the joy that comes from walking with You. Surround her with mentors who will point her towards righteousness and help her grow in wisdom and stature (Luke 2:52).
And for her son, we pray against the spirit of anxiety. Fill him with the assurance of Your love, Lord Jesus. Strengthen his body with nourishment and rest, and help him grow in wisdom and stature, rooted in Your truth. Remind him daily that he is loved, not just by his family, but by the Creator of the universe (Psalm 118:6).
We rebuke the schemes of the enemy that seek to steal, kill, and destroy the joy and purpose You have for these children. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we ask that You would hedge them in with Your protection. Draw them closer to You, Jesus, and let them experience the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
In Your mighty name, Jesus, we pray. Amen.
