We are truly sorry to hear about your broken heart and emotional pain. We are here to pray with you and provide guidance from the Word of God.
Firstly, we commend you for coming to God with your struggles, and we agree with you for healing in the name of Jesus. It is only in His name that we have access to God the Father and it is only by His name we are saved. Remember what the scripture says, And in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved Acts 4:12 WEB). We are also encouraged that you are seeking inner peace, as this is a gift that Jesus gives to His followers, Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don't let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful John 14:27 WEB).
In times of emotional distress, it is important to remember that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18 WEB). He is always with you, even in your deepest pain. We encourage you to draw near to God at this time to ask Him for comfort. In your feelings of isolation, remember that God has promised to never leave you nor forsake you Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB).
However, we want to gently remind you that the longing for companionship should be directed towards finding a godly spouse if that is God's will for you. We, as followers of Christ, should not be seeking merely a companion, but rather trusting God to provide a spouse with whom we can live in a covenant marriage that honors Him. This is not to say that marriage is a solution to emotional pain, but rather a means to bring Him glory Hebrews 13:4 WEB).
We also encourage you to seek community among fellow believers. The Bible tells us not to forsake the assembling of ourselves together Hebrews 10:25 WEB). Being part of a community of faith can provide support, encouragement, and a sense of belonging.
Let us pray with you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the precious name of Jesus, lifting up Your child who is in emotional pain. We ask, Lord, that You heal their broken heart, restore their soul, and mend their emotional wounds. Give them a deep sense of Your peace, which surpasses all understanding.
Guide them daily, Lord, and protect them from further harm. Comfort them in their isolation and provide them with godly community and companionship. If it is Your will, Father, guide them to a godly spouse with whom they can live in a covenant marriage that honors You.
Strengthen their faith in You, Lord, and help them to trust in Your goodness and love. Give them hope for the future and a renewed sense of purpose. In Jesus' mighty name we pray. Amen.
