Thank you for sharing your heart so honestly. The pain of a broken heart and the weight of anxiety are very real, and God sees both with deep compassion.
Scripture says the Lord is near to those who are brokenhearted and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Jesus said blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. That nearness is a promise for you right now. When you pour out your grief and sorrow and pain to Him, He does not turn away. A broken and contrite heart He will not despise.
Your heart matters to God more than anything else. Out of the heart are the issues of life, and He wants to do His work inside the heart. You cannot mend your own heart by trying harder, and you do not have to. God has promised to do what you cannot do for yourself. He gives a new heart, a heart that loves Him and desires to please Him. The work that saves is not outward but inward, the circumcision of the heart by His Spirit. The new covenant He has made through Jesus cannot be broken. Even when you feel broken, His commitment to you remains firm.
He also understands this pain personally. When Jesus died on the cross, blood and water came from His side, which shows His heart had literally ruptured. He died of a broken heart, broken for the sin and sorrow of the world. He knows what it is to carry heaviness and sorrow, and He has made provision for healing through His suffering, healing that touches both soul and body.
The anxiety you feel is also something you can bring to Him openly. The heart can be deceitful and easily overwhelmed, which is why the word says to guard your heart with all diligence and to pray as David did, search me, O God, and know my heart. Try me and know my thoughts and see if there is any hurtful way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way. As you invite Him to search and to lead, He will work in you both to will and to do what pleases Him. He Himself places within you the desires that align with His will and then gives you the strength to walk in them, so that doing His will becomes your own joy and delight.
May you experience that inward work today. I am praying for you that God will mend what is broken, that He will lift the heaviness and give you His peace in place of anxiety, and that He will fill your heart with His presence and His comfort as you walk with Jesus. He is near, He hears, and He will be your strength.

Heal and mend what is torn, quiet the anxiety, and give a new and steadfast heart. Do Your work within by Your Spirit, search and cleanse and renew, and place Your desires and Your peace inside.
