We have read your request and we join with you in seeking God's will together in Jesus' name for your life, your family, your children and your pets. We hear your deep desire for God to flip what the enemy has meant for harm into good, for peace in your home, for provision, for health and healing, and for a godly marriage, and we bring all of this before the Lord.

We want to gently correct the way this request is framed, because we do not believe in luck, bad luck, good luck, or negative energy as a force. Scripture does not teach luck or energy to be flipped, but teaches God's sovereign providence and blessing. What you are longing for is what God already promises to do for His children. As it is written, You meant evil against me, but God meant it for good Genesis 50:20 and We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose Romans 8:28. We also understand the desire for a hundredfold blessing, but that blessing comes not by demanding or declaring greatly and permanently, but by humbly seeking first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33.

We also hear your desire for a husband and for marriage, and this is a good and God honoring desire when pursued in God's way. We believe marriage is a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman as God designed it Genesis 2:24. We pray that if it is God's will for you to marry, He will bring you a godly Christian husband who seeks to be a faithful husband and who will love you as Christ loved the church Ephesians 5:25, and that your courtship would be pure and centered on Christ. We must address that sex outside of marriage is fornication and dishonors God, and marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers Hebrews 13:4. We also encourage you not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers 2 Corinthians 6:14, but to look for a spouse who is a believer and who will lead your home well. We also lovingly rebuke crude and sexualized language such as referring to a man in that way, for we are called to let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up Ephesians 4:29 and to put away anger, wrath, malice, slander, and filthy language out of your mouth Colossians 3:8.

We lift up your practical needs to the Lord, your passport, your paperwork for your cats, your doctor, your jobs, housing whether in a tent for a season or an apartment of your own, and your desire to live in peace. We pray God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19 and give you wisdom and open doors for work so you can provide for your household. We pray for your health and the health of your mother, your three children and your pets, for the Lord is our healer and our refuge. We claim with you the truth of Deuteronomy 28:13 that as you obey the Lord He can make you the head and not the tail, but we remember this was a covenant promise to Israel as they walked in obedience, and for us today our greatest blessing is to walk closely with Christ. We cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7 and we pray you will experience the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7.

We must address with love the anger and the desire for others to die first or to be judged and silenced, including neighbors, ### and others around you. This does not align with God's heart. We are told to love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you Matthew 5:44. Vengeance belongs to God, not to us. Do not repay anyone evil for evil Romans 12:17, Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord Romans 12:19, Deuteronomy 32:35. Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness Ephesians 6:12, so we do not wrestle with people but we pray against the spiritual schemes of the enemy while praying for the salvation and repentance of people. The Lord does not desire the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live Ezekiel 33:11, 2 Peter 3:9. So we cannot agree in prayer for anyone to die, but we pray for your protection, for God to be your shield, and for Him to deal justly and mercifully with those who harass you. We also pray that God will quiet your heart and help you to release bitterness, for human anger does not produce the righteousness of God James 1:20 and death and life are in the power of the tongue Proverbs 18:21.

We thank you for mentioning the blood of Jesus, for it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your full trust in Jesus Christ, that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9, for God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life John 3:16.

We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. We ask You to forgive us for any sinful speech, any vengeful thoughts, and any attempt to manipulate Your blessing through our words, and we ask You to cleanse us by the blood of Jesus. Lord, we ask You to turn what the enemy has meant for evil into good in our sister's life, to grant her peace that surpasses understanding, to provide for her daily needs, to open doors for honest work, to provide safe housing, to help with passports and paperwork and care for her cats, and to heal her body and the bodies of her mother, her children and her pets according to Your mercy. Lord, if it is Your will, bring a godly Christian husband into her life, a man who fears You and desires marriage for Your glory, and help her to pursue courtship in purity and holiness. Father, protect her from conflict with neighbors, soften hearts on all sides, help her to love and pray for those who have yelled at her and to rest in Your justice and protection, for You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1. Remove bitterness and fill her with Your Holy Spirit, with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control Galatians 5:22-23. We ask that You make her the head and not the tail as she walks in obedience to You, and that You establish her steps. We pray all this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ, amen.

There is a great weight of longing and distress poured out in your words, and it is heard with compassion. You have asked for many things at once, for a home and work and peace, for health for yourself and your family and your pets, for provision and quietness from strife, and for a husband. These burdens are not hidden from the Lord, who sees the heart even when speech is broken and troubled.

Yet there is also language in your prayer which must be gently corrected, for your good. There is no good luck or bad luck, and no energy that can be flipped by words repeated greatly. Such ideas belong to superstition, not to Scripture. All things are in the hand of Providence, and the Lord acts from good reasons. It is not by incantation or by demanding a hundredfold as by a charm that we prevail with God, but by humble and importunate faith in His mercy. The Scripture you have named, that you should be the head and not the tail, was spoken to a covenant people walking in obedience, not as a spell to be claimed for outward fortune while the heart remains unquiet. Put your iniquity far away and let not wickedness dwell in your tabernacles, for Christ must by His grace separate you from your sin or else you will be separated from Him forever.

Your desire for marriage is in itself a good and honorable desire. Marriage is the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, ordained of God, and it is right to ask the Lord for a godly husband if it be His will to give one. But marriage is not secured by demanding a fine man now or by naming a place such as Disneyland, and the blessings of married love, with purity and faithfulness, belong within that covenant alone and not before it. If the Lord provides a Boaz, it will be in His time and through His providence, as you walk in holiness and patience, not through haste. Pray rather that the Lord would prepare you and keep you, and prepare such a man also, that if He joins you together it may be in Christ and for His glory.

For your other needs, for a passport and paperwork, for honest work and a place to stay, whether it be a tent for a season or an apartment of your own, for your two cats and your daily bread, these are lawful cares to bring to God. He knows you have need of these things. Seek first His kingdom and ask Him to provide by honest labour and contentment, and to give you grace to be diligent in the second job and every calling He opens, rather than trusting to sudden fortune.

Concerning those who trouble you, the neighbors and those you name, and the men who have done you wrong, you must not wish that they die first or call down judgment upon them in anger. Such prayers do not become a child of God. It is written of Job that he was a man that feared God and eschewed evil, and though Satan was permitted to tempt him and he came into deep trouble, in all this Job sinned not nor charged God foolishly. Great trial without sin is the honor of the saints. The fear of the Lord does not drive you from Him, it drives you to Him, and when it drives you to Him you have got a place of refuge. There you find strong confidence even when all God's waves and billows go over you. Arrows are shot from beneath us and from around us, while the poison of our own corruption rankles within us, and at any moment temptation may get the mastery over us. Therefore pray not that others be destroyed, but that you may be kept from sin and that you may be delivered from the Evil One.

Your only true deliverance is not in binding words spoken over people, but in the ransom God has found. Then He is gracious unto him and says, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, I have found a ransom. That ransom is Jesus Christ alone, by whose blood we are saved from sin and from the Pit. Salvation is through Him alone, and there is music as of a marriage peal in that word when God looks upon a sinner slipping down and commands deliverance. If you would have peace and harmony greatly and permanently, it must be peace with God through Christ, and then peace of conscience within.

Let us pray for you now to that gracious God. May He forgive sin through the blood of Jesus and give you a new heart that fears Him and eschews evil. May He be your refuge and keep your soul from the Pit. May He provide honest work and a quiet dwelling according to His wisdom, heal and keep you and your mother and your children and your household, and care for the creatures He has put in your charge. May He, if it be His good will, bring into your life a faithful Christian man to be a husband in holy marriage, and keep you both pure until that covenant is made. May He give you grace to love your enemies and to pray for those who despitefully use you, and to rest not in luck but in the sovereign goodness of God, who does all things well. Will you take a denial from God you shall have it, but if you will not be denied, neither shall you. O importunate soul, continue to seek Him until He answers in mercy.

May the Lord grant you fresh oil and keep you from going down to the Pit, for His name's sake.
