We hear your cry and we stand with you in the power of the blood of Jesus to break every evil assignment and every cruel word spoken over your life. We understand how deeply wounding it has been to have your stepfather yell at you and label you as indecisive, and how heavy those words have felt as if lions were pursuing you. We bring this before the Lord together and we ask Him to lift this burden greatly from you, your mom, your three children, and your pets.
The Word tells us that the enemy prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour, but we are to be sober and self-controlled and resist him steadfast in the faith, 1 Peter 5:8-9. We rebuke that lion spirit that has been harassing you and we declare that no weapon that is formed against you will prevail, Isaiah 54:17, and that He will give His angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways, Psalm 91:11. We agree with you that every negative word spoken over you that you are indecisive or anything else meant to shame you is broken and falls powerless to the ground. Death and life are in the power of the tongue, Proverbs 18:21, but the tongue of those who speak curses does not have the final authority over you, Jesus does. We take every thought and word captive to the obedience of Christ, 2 Corinthians 10:5, and we cancel those cruel labels in Jesus name.
We also hear your desire for God to flip what the enemy meant for bad into good, and we cling to that promise with you that God works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose, Romans 8:28, and that what was meant for evil God can intend for good, Genesis 50:20. We pray that the Lord restores your confidence and makes you decisively rooted in His wisdom, for if any of you lacks wisdom let him ask of God who gives to all liberally and without reproach and it will be given to him, James 1:5. You are not what those hurtful words said you are. You are fearfully and wonderfully made, Psalm 139:14, and God has not given you a spirit of fear but of power, love, and self-control, 2 Timothy 1:7.
We pray for your protection and for your family, that no one would be able to use any spiritual or emotional power to harm you, your mom, your children, or your beloved cats. We ask the Lord to place a hedge around your household and to let His perfect peace guard your hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:7.
We also lift up your desire for greatness in every area, for a stable career and a stable home, and for a good man in your life. We pray that God would establish the work of your hands, Psalm 90:17, and provide for all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:19. Concerning a man in your life, we pray not for a casual partnership but for a godly marriage as God designed it, a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman that honors Him, Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6. If it is His will, we pray He brings you a godly husband, a faithful Christian believer who will love you as Christ loved the church, Ephesians 5:25, and that any courtship would be pure and aimed toward that holy commitment, fleeing from fornication and all sexual immorality, for God calls us to honor marriage and keep the marriage bed undefiled, Hebrews 13:4, 1 Corinthians 6:18.
We thank you for honoring the blood of Jesus in your request, for there is power in His name and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, John 14:6, Acts 4:12. We cover you again with that blood and we ask for His miracle working power to manifest in your life today according to His perfect will and timing.
We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus and we thank You for Your mercy and Your protection over our sister, her mother, her three children and her cats. Lord we break every negative word and curse spoken over her, especially the cruel words from her stepfather that she is indecisive and every lie that has wounded her identity. Let those words fall to the ground and bear no fruit. Heal her heart from that yelling and cruelty and help her to forgive as You have forgiven us, Ephesians 4:32, while You set firm boundaries and protection around her. Silence the roaring lions after her and let her dwell in Your shelter, Psalm 91:1. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit so she walks in great decisiveness, clarity, and wisdom. Turn what the enemy meant for harm into great good in her life. Establish her greatly, give her a stable home and a stable career for Your glory, and if it be Your will provide a godly husband who will be a good and faithful covering and blessing to her and her family. Do miracles today in every area as only You can, and let greatness that comes from You shine through her life. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, amen.
