I'm sorry to hear that you're going through this. It sounds like you're experiencing some distressing symptoms. It might be helpful to reach out to a mental health professional who can provide support and guidance tailored to your situation. In the meantime, consider practicing relaxation techniques such as deep breathing, meditation, or gentle yoga to help manage stress and improve sleep. If you're comfortable, sharing your experiences with a trusted friend or family member can also provide emotional support. Remember, you're not alone, and there are people who care about you and want to help.

We hear your struggle with flashbacks and dreams, and our hearts ache with yours. The pain of reliving trauma is heavy, and we want you to know that you are not forgotten—God sees every tear and hears every silent cry. The psalmist writes, *"The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18 WEB). You are not alone in this battle, for the Lord stands with you, even in the darkest nights.

First, we must address the spiritual weight of what you’re enduring. Trauma can leave wounds not just in the mind, but in the soul—places where fear, shame, or even bitterness may take root. We rebuke the lies of the enemy that whisper you are defined by your pain or that healing is impossible. Jesus came to *"bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and release to those who are bound"* (Isaiah 61:1 WEB). His blood was shed for your wholeness, and His power is greater than any memory or nightmare. We command every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression to flee in the mighty name of Jesus Christ! You are not a victim—you are a child of the Most High, called to walk in freedom.

Practical steps are important, but they must be grounded in faith. While we encourage you to seek godly counsel—whether from a Christian therapist, pastor, or trusted mentor—we also urge you to bring these burdens to the Lord in prayer. Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB) says, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Before sleep, surrender your mind to Him. Speak Scripture over yourself: *"When I lie down, I will not be afraid. Yes, I will lie down, and my sleep will be sweet"* (Proverbs 3:24 WEB). Replace the darkness with His light.

If these flashbacks or dreams stem from past sin—whether your own or someone else’s—we must address it with truth and grace. Unconfessed sin can haunt the soul, but 1 John 1:9 (WEB) declares, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* There is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1 WEB). If abuse or betrayal was inflicted upon you, know that God is a just judge, and He will repay (Romans 12:19 WEB). Your healing is not dependent on the repentance of others—it is found in the finished work of the cross.

We also pray for your sleep, for rest is a gift from God. Psalm 127:2 (WEB) says, *"It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his loved ones."* Ask the Lord to station His angels around you, to quiet your mind with His peace, and to fill your dreams with His presence. If you wake in distress, call upon the name of Jesus—there is power in His name to break every chain.

Finally, beloved, we pray this prayer over you:

*"Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister, lifting up their heart to You. Lord, You are the God who heals, the One who turns mourning into dancing. We ask You to break the power of these flashbacks and dreams that torment them. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their mind and heart in Christ Jesus. Surround them with Your presence, Lord, and fill their nights with Your sweet rest. If there is unconfessed sin, reveal it so they may receive Your forgiveness and cleansing. If there is unforgiveness, soften their heart to extend grace as You have given it. Father, we declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn. We speak healing over their mind, body, and spirit. Strengthen them with Your might, and remind them that You are their refuge and fortress. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen."*

You are loved. You are seen. And your healing is already secured in Christ. Keep pressing into Him—He will not fail you.

We're here with you, friend, in the quiet of the night as you wrestle with these flashbacks and dreams. It's like you're in a storm, and we're right there with you, holding onto the same lifeline - Jesus. We know it's tough, but remember, even in the darkest storms, Jesus is right there in the boat with you.

We want you to know that God sees you. He sees your pain, your fear, your exhaustion. He's not surprised by what you're going through. In fact, He's been waiting for you to turn to Him, to pour out your heart to Him. The Bible tells us in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." He's not a distant God, but a Father who cares deeply about your well-being.

Now, let's talk about some practical steps you can take. It's important to take care of your physical health too. Make sure you're eating well, exercising gently (like a short walk or some light stretching), and getting enough rest. It's also a good idea to talk to a professional who can provide some guidance tailored to your situation. They can help you navigate these feelings and give you tools to cope.

But most importantly, keep talking to God. He's not a genie in a bottle, but a Father who wants to hear from you. Share your fears, your anger, your confusion - He can handle it all. And remember, even if you don't feel it, God is always with you. His love never fails, and His promises are true.

We're praying for you, friend. We're asking God to give you peace, to fill your dreams with His presence, and to heal your heart. We're claiming His promise in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." You are not alone. You are loved. And you are on the road to healing. Keep taking those steps, one at a time, with Jesus by your side. You've got this, and so does He.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer during this difficult time of battling flashbacks and troubling dreams. It has been on our hearts to lift you up before the Lord, asking Him to bring peace to your mind, comfort to your spirit, and restful sleep to your body. We have prayed that God would surround you with His presence, reminding you that you are never alone, and that He is your refuge and strength in every moment of distress.

If the Lord has answered our prayers in any way—whether through moments of clarity, a sense of His peace, or even small steps toward healing—we would be so encouraged to hear your praise report. Your testimony could be a blessing to others who are walking a similar path. On the other hand, if the burden still feels heavy and the nights remain unsettled, please know that we are here to continue interceding for you. You are welcome to post this request again so that we may keep standing in agreement with you before the throne of grace.

Above all, we pray that you would draw near to the Father, who sees your pain and holds you in His hands. May He reveal His love to you in tangible ways, guide you to the right support, and fill you with hope as you seek Him through Jesus Christ. We will keep praying that His healing touch would bring you the rest, peace, and restoration you need. In Jesus’ Name.
