Fire in HK High Rise, 3 Typhoons, Hab 3:4

Nochaeld

Faithful Servant
Lord, we have heard the report... In wrath, remember mercy, Hab 3:4. Father we lift up the world events taking place, whether know or unkown, You have allowed them, Amos 3:6, Isa 45:7. We ask for the Gospel of The Kingdom to be proclaimed throughout the whole earth as a testimony to all the people groups so the end can come, Matt 24:14. Please be with those who've suffered burns, first responders and firefighters. We ask mercy on the families of those involved and those who've lost loved ones. We ask for Christians and churches to be protected from typhoons in India, Vietnam and Malaysia -- as well as all to experience Your mercy, "Father shows mercy to the just and unjust," Matt 5:45, and You, being better than the "children of the Most High," call us to be like You, "kind to the ungrateful and wicked," Luke 6:35. We, too, will that none would perish but all would come to repentance, 2 Pet 3:9, and for all to be saved and come to the knowledge of The Truth, 1 Tim 2:4. We pray this situation would turn out for the furtherance of the Gospel, Phil 1:12, and know that You cause all things to work together for good to those who love You and according to Your purpose are called, Rom 8:28. As always, restrain the serpent of old, who never overlooks an opportunity to prey on the weak, Job 1:6-7, 1 Pet 5:8. Keep believers there from temptation, Lk 11:4, evil people, 2 Thes 3:2, and the evil one, Matt 6:13, John 17:15. With thanksgiving we let our requests made known before You, Phil 4:6-7, thanking You in advance for making things more merciful and accomplishing Your purposes through our prayers, 1 Jn 5:14-15, Mk 11:24, Heb 11:1, Heb 11:6, in Jesus' Name, John 14:13-14, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We join with you in lifting up these urgent and heavy burdens before the Lord, knowing that He alone is sovereign over all creation, and that nothing happens apart from His allowance or His perfect will. Your heart for the lost, the suffering, and the advancement of the Gospel is evident, and we echo your cries for mercy, salvation, and God’s glory to be made known even in the midst of these trials.

The fires in Hong Kong and the approaching typhoons in India, Vietnam, and Malaysia are stark reminders of the fragility of life and the brokenness of this world under the curse of sin. Yet, we know that our God is not distant in these moments—He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He is the One who calms the storms (Mark 4:39) and walks with His people through the fire (Isaiah 43:2). We cling to His promise that He works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28), even when we cannot see how.

We also lift up the first responders, firefighters, and medical workers who are laboring tirelessly to save lives. May the Lord grant them strength, wisdom, and protection as they serve. For those who have suffered burns or lost loved ones, we pray for supernatural comfort and healing—both physically and spiritually. May they encounter the peace of Christ that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and may the body of Christ rise up to meet their needs with compassion and generosity.

Your prayer for the Gospel to go forth in the midst of these disasters is powerful and aligned with Scripture. Jesus told us that the Gospel *must* be proclaimed to all nations before the end comes (Matthew 24:14), and we know that God often uses trials to soften hearts and open doors for His Word to be received. We pray that these events would not be in vain but would serve as a catalyst for many to turn to Christ. May believers in these regions be bold in their witness, sharing the hope of the Gospel with those who are fearful and searching for answers. Let the light of Christ shine brightly in the darkness, drawing many to repentance and faith in Jesus alone for salvation.

We also stand in agreement with your plea for mercy—both for the just and the unjust (Matthew 5:45). Our God is rich in mercy, and His desire is that none should perish but that all would come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). Even in judgment, He remembers mercy (Habakkuk 3:2), and we ask that He would temper these disasters with His grace, sparing lives and turning hearts toward Him.

At the same time, we must remember that these events are a wake-up call to a world that often lives as though God does not exist. The Bible tells us that creation itself groans under the weight of sin, waiting for the revelation of the sons of God (Romans 8:19-22). Natural disasters are a reminder that this world is temporary and that eternity is at stake. We pray that many would recognize their need for a Savior and turn to Jesus before it is too late.

We also take seriously your prayer for the restraint of the enemy. Satan is a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8), and he delights in using tragedy to sow fear, doubt, and despair. But greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We pray for a hedge of protection around believers in these regions, that they would not be overcome by evil but would overcome evil with good (Romans 12:21). May they be kept from temptation, delivered from the evil one, and filled with the Holy Spirit’s power to stand firm in faith.

Finally, we give thanks that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence (Hebrews 4:16), knowing that our prayers are heard and that our God is able to do far more abundantly than all we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). We thank Him in advance for His mercy, His protection, and His redemptive work in the midst of these trials.

**Let us pray together:**

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts heavy for the suffering in Hong Kong, India, Vietnam, Malaysia, and all who are affected by these disasters. You are the God who parts the seas, calms the storms, and walks with Your people through the fire. We ask for Your mercy to be poured out in abundance—spare lives, heal the injured, and comfort those who mourn. Strengthen the hands of the first responders and firefighters, and grant them wisdom and protection as they serve.

Lord, we pray that these events would not be in vain but would serve Your eternal purposes. Open doors for the Gospel to go forth with power. Soften hearts that have been hardened against You, and draw many to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. May Your people rise up with boldness to proclaim the hope of the Gospel, that many would turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God (Acts 26:18).

We ask for Your protection over Your church in these regions. Restrain the enemy and keep believers from temptation, evil, and the schemes of the devil. Fill them with Your peace and joy, even in the midst of trials, and use them as vessels of Your mercy to a hurting world.

Father, we thank You that You are sovereign over all things and that You work all things together for the good of those who love You. We trust You in these uncertain times and ask that Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. May Your name be glorified, and may many come to know You as their Savior and Lord.

We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer, who alone is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Amen. (John 14:6)

Dear friend,

We join you in lifting up these urgent needs to our Father in heaven. As we cry out to Him, let's remember His unfailing love and faithfulness. In times like these, we find comfort in His promise, "I am the Lord, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight" (Jeremiah 9:24).

Let's pray for:

🔹 The victims and families affected by the fires in ### and the impending typhoons. May they experience God's comfort, healing, and provision in their time of need. "Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken" (Psalm 55:22).

🔹 The first responders, firefighters, and medical workers on the frontlines. Grant them strength, wisdom, and protection as they serve tirelessly. "The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still" (Exodus 14:14).

🔹 The Gospel to go forth with power in these regions. May many turn to Christ and find eternal hope. "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come" (Matthew 24:14).

🔹 Protection and boldness for believers in these areas. "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind" (2 Timothy 1:7).

Let's trust in our merciful God, who is always near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!
