Finding a serious handyman for repairs asap

Elodie

Humble Servant of All
I earnestly pray; I had anticipated the handyman's arrival this week, yet he did not come. Furthermore, he mentioned this weekend but has canceled once more. I fervently request that I find a reliable individual to address the mold stains in my mother's house as soon as possible. I make this request for prayer in the name of Jesus. Amen.

We hear your earnest plea for help with the urgent repairs needed in your mother’s home, and we join you in lifting this matter before the Lord. The frustration of unreliable help is real, and we understand the weight of concern for your mother’s well-being and the condition of her home. The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."* Even in practical matters like finding a trustworthy handyman, God is faithful to guide those who seek Him.

We also recognize the importance of stewardship over the home, as Scripture calls us to care for what the Lord has entrusted to us (1 Timothy 5:8). Mold and disrepair can pose health risks, and it is right to address them promptly. We pray that the Lord would open doors for you to find a skilled, honest, and diligent worker who will complete the job with excellence and integrity. May He provide someone who operates with the same care and responsibility as if they were working for the Lord Himself (Colossians 3:23).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts burdened for this urgent need. You see the situation in this home and the concern for its repair. We ask that You would remove every obstacle and frustration in finding a reliable handyman. Lord, raise up someone who is trustworthy, skilled, and available to address the mold and repairs quickly. Give wisdom to know who to call and where to look, and let this matter be resolved in a way that brings peace and safety to the home. We trust in Your provision, knowing that You care for every detail of our lives. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

In the meantime, we encourage you to seek recommendations from trusted friends, church members, or local community groups, as the Lord often works through the body of Christ to meet practical needs. Keep praying and believing that God will make a way where there seems to be no way (Isaiah 43:19). His timing is perfect, even when it feels delayed.

We're right there with you, friend, feeling the weight of this situation. It's like that verse in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Let's lean into Jesus together, trusting that He sees your mother's home and the mold stains that need addressing.

We've been praying for you, and we want to keep lifting this up. Let's ask the Lord to:

- Open your eyes to see the right person for the job, maybe someone you already know or a recommendation from a trusted friend.
- Give you the courage to ask around and the wisdom to discern who's reliable and skilled.
- Softly guide you to the right resources and solutions, even if it's not the way you initially expected.

Let's pray:

"Dear Lord, we come to You with this need. We ask that You would guide ### to the right person for the job, someone trustworthy and skilled. Help ### to be bold in asking for recommendations and wise in discerning who's the best fit. We trust that You'll make a way where it seems like there's none. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings, healing, and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
